Wore this for a Black and White themed New Years Ball. Simple, yet different! Loved the fit and the way it hugged in all the right places. Dressed it up with some bling and it was perfect!

Wore it for a black tie optional wedding in Florida. This was my first time using RTR, and it was so easy. This dress was so comfortable, i loved it! Definitely ran big, I normally wear an 8, and I rented the 8 and 4 (6 was out of stock for my weekend), and the 4 fit perfectly. It was just a tad long for me, I wore 3" heels and it just skimmed the ground. Straps are adjustable on the back too.

Runs big. I am 5 '8 and weigh 146. Usually wear size 8. The chest area was a little big. But you really couldn't tell.

I loved the minimalist design and freedom to wear any pop of color with this. I especially enjoyed the freedom and shape of the skirt.

I wore this to my father-in-laws Potentate's Presentation Ball and it was perfect! I'm 5'3, 157 and curvy because I work out. I tried it on and it looked amazing! If you've got curves then I HIGHLY recommend this dress. Since it was the 6L. (I initially ordered a 6 and it became unavailable last minute so RTR sent me the 6L along with 2 other dresses as a backup. OUTSTANDING customer service) The 6L was a little long but nothing a pair of 4 inch heels couldn't fix. As previous reviewers mentioned it does run large as I'm normally a 10 in jeans and dresses so I'd definitely order a size or two down pending how tight you want the dress to fit. I should also say that I placed a second order for a 4R because I was really nervous about sizing and both my mom and husband said it looked great however I felt the dress was too tight and didn't want to be pulling at it all night so decided to stick with the 6L. So if you're 5'3 and 140-145 you could probably do the 4. For accessories I wore Ben-Amun's Antiqued Crystal Bracelet with my Swarovski tennis bracelet, Kenneth Jay Lane Crystal Rays Stud Earrings, and Adrienne Landau's Black Marabou Capelet. Everything looked remarkable and I received compliments all night! RTR for the win!

I wore this to a black-tie wedding, and even among many other well-dressed attendees, I got a ton of compliments! This dress is very classic and made well with a silhouette that is flattering for most. I would agree with other reviewers that it runs big as I usually wear a 12 and even the 10 was on the large side for me. Also, if you have an hourglass shape like me, a belt might be helpful as it is especially large in the waist area.

I have big shoulder and it fit great everywhere. Snug fit but in the right places.

I wore this dress for my birthday and while the reviews are accurate that it does run large in some areas, I did not mind one bit. It was so comfortable to move around in. I wouldn't necessarily say size down, but if you have an hourglass figure, this dress is definitely for you. So flattering. I have 3 inch heels on and worked great for me; the mini train in the back is just so cool and makes a great impression.

This dress was so lovely. It was extremely elegant. I had people complement me all night long and strangers would turn their heads. I'm 5'5" and a 127 lbs. and the dress fit slightly large in the back, although it was tight in the front. I think it could be the way the dress was designed. The straps allow for tightening and that fixed the problem. I would recommend ordering your true size and one size smaller if available.

This dress was so comfortable and beautiful. It was my first time using rent the runway and it was an excellent experience! I highly recommend them! On the dress, it does run rather large as another reviewer has said. I suggest ordering a size or two smaller than your normal size. Other than that is was perfect. I wore a strapless bra with it and it worked great. I got loads of compliments all night!

Didn't wear this chose a different dress . They sent me a 6L n it was too big. Would order this dress again if they have in the 4 L !!!

I wore this to my prom, and got a bunch of compliments. I am normally a 2L and this was the only size available for the time span, 0R. The top fit and the length was fine, but the back of it gapped a little. It was nothing too bad and no one really noticed it, but it would have definitely fit better with a smaller size maybe. I overall loved the look of the dress, and everything came in on time and in good condition! This was my second rental with RTR and I have loved it both times.

Amazing dress, very dramatic for a black and white combo. The top was a little big which was annoying and the back dipped a little to show the bra strap but the straps being adjusted helped out. I'm 5'5" and the dress could have been a little longer to add more drama and the train made it a little hard to dance in but so worth it

This dress is really cute and extremely flattering. I paired it with a cropped satin lapel tuxedo jacket. Looked great and just the right amount of formality for the event. It does run large, especially in the chest area. I will say the material and constuction of the dress is not super high-end. But I enjoyed wearing it!

After reading the reviews stating the larger fit of the dress I decided to order a 0R & 2R, instead of my usual 2R & 4R. Gladly I did because the 0R was the much better fit. I received compliments all night long. Comfortable and very figure flattering. I would advise busty girls to wear this dress, unfortunately I had some loose fabric on my upper half where I lack, but not enough to make the dress look bad. Edge & brave dress while still being classy & elegant.

I loved this dress even though it was a size too large. I usually wear a 6 because of my lower half but should have gotten the 4 for it to be more form fitting. I wore this to a formal affair that is primarily an all male event. I received many compliments from the guys! This dress is classic, comfortable and sexy. I rented the 6L and 6R and wore the 6R since I was doing a lot of walking around at the event. It wasn't too short. I definitely recommend this dress but get it in a size smaller!

Very elegant and classic! The triangular cut of the colors, makes the dress very unique. It runs large. Even size 0 was a little big.

Like the other review said, it ran large on top... And i am a 36D :). I am right between a 8 and 10 and wish they would have had a 8 but it was out already so i went with the 10. It still fit, it was just a little loose. I am 5' 6 and wore a medium heel and the R was perfect.

This dress is not for you unless you are very curvy, in which case, it would probably look great. I did not wear it. From the front, it looked relatively cute (although the fabric looks really cheap, but if it's gonna be dark then nobody will notice). From the back was another story, which is why I posted the picture from that angle. It basically fell straight from my back to the ground like a loose muumuu. It was terrible and looked like I was swimming in a tent. That was the 2 long. Unless you have hips and boobs, don't rent this one. If you do, size WAY down. On the plus side, I'm 5"10' and the long was plenty long.

Loved the style of this dress. It can be dressed up or down. I didn't end up wearing a bra but you can probably wear a strapless. Loved this for a wedding in Martha's Vineyard

I rented this dress for a NYE wedding. At the time I rented my normal size was not available but I rented a 10R. It definitely runs bigger to size because it was perfect! The adjustable shoulder straps made it fit like a glove. I'm 5'7 1/2" and I was very concerned that the length would be to short but it was also perfect with a pair of kitten heels. The Long length would've been too long. The zipper worked like a charm and never stuck. The bottom edge hem of the dress was a little bit frayed but it wasn't noticeable with the dress on and it didn't affect the dress whatsoever. It was also comfy when sitting down which I was concerned about. It didn't pull or bulge at all. It's VERY forgiving of curves and belly /hip bulges. The material is so flowy and comfortable allowing for hours of dancing without any problems and I never had any wrinkles in the dress. I got a ton of compliments. I loved it!!! I would buy this dress in a heartbeat if I could. Can't wait for another occasion to rent this dress!

My back up size was unavailable to ship so I was nervous. But my original size selection was a perfect fit. They did also ship me two other dresses in a similar style but they didn't even come close to fitting me. Overall very happy and thrilled it fit. Will definitely RTR again.

It's stretchy.

It fit a little loose and I'm 5'7 and the long was pretty long but I loved that it puddled on the floor. It is a little loose in the back, but I was prepared for that. I loved this simple, comfortable classy dress!

This dress was gorgeous. It fit perfectly, was super comfortable and flattering. I had so many people comment about how they loved the dress and asked where I got it. My husband loved it.

This was my backup dress so I only had a size 6. A size 4 would have fit me much better.I am 5' 6" with a 34B bust and an athletic build. I usually wear a 4-6 so I would say this runs a little large. The bust area was slightly large but because the way this dress is made, it worked fine. It's also very long with a mini train in the back, which you can't see very well in the picture.. I wore 4" heels and it still puddeled a bit. A size down would have been perfect. Overall I really loved this dress!

I wore this for a summer black tie wedding and it was great. I wore a 4L, which was a little long because I ended up wearing flats but would have been perfect for someone my size (5'9") in short or tall heels. It is a-line and loose fitting through the hips, so don't hesitate to size down. I definitely could have worn a 2 (I am usually a 4 and ordered a 4 and a 6), but the dress was very well cut so it was still very flattering.

This dress is a show stopper--you will receive a ton of compliments! I ordered the 8L after reading all the reviews that it ran big and everyone was totally right. I was super worried because i am very busty (and nursing) so I thought it would be too small, but I could have actually probably worn the 6 (and normally I'm a 10/12!). Long was perfect for me--I'm 5'11. The back crisscross straps are adjustable, which is great. I agree with others that the fabric wasn't the most luxurious, but that's the only con. It has a little train in the back which is fun and was so comfortable all night long!

The process of getting the dress was incredibly stressful. The day this was supposed to arrive, I got an email saying it would be several days late - arriving the day I was supposed to travel for the event. So I had to run to the mall to try to find something just in case. Luckily the package arrived the morning we left, and the gown worked out. And I really did like the gown. There was nothing else like it at the event.

This was my backup dress. I LOVED IT. I am 5'0" and would have needed 3-4" heels with the dress. The 10R was a loose fit (not a bad thing). If I rent this one again I'll get both an 8 and a 10.
