This is a late review so I can't remember what size I ordered + this was before the pre-pandemic Cn weight gain but the fabric and pattern looks way better in person and feels fantastic and lightweight on

Definitely could size down to large or medium personally. Loved anyway because there is a drawstring waist to create shape

This was the second time I had gotten this dress. Last month I ordered an XL because they said it was the same as a Sz 10, which is my dress size. The XL was huge on me. I could not wear it. I really wanted to try this dress, so I ordered a size L which fit perfectly. I liked this dress, but I did not love it. It is silky and smooth, which is nice. It does have slits on the side of the dress, which was not a problem since I am petite, whereas a tall person may feel a bit exposed. I was not in love with the neckline because it kept flopping over. I did wear a cami with this dress. Be aware that the dress is a bit sheer. I wore this out for coffee and then on some errands. I did get a compliment on the dress, people seemed to love the color. I enjoyed this dress experioence.

I wore this dress a few times, including a baby shower, and it's so flattering. You can adjust the pull strings to fit your waist more snugly or leave it loose depending on what you like. The print is also very unique and fun to wear.

I'm 5'2 so the length wasn't a problem but if anyone were about 5'4 or taller, it would be too short. Very nice fabric, although a bit sheer so I had to wear a slip under it for work. Loved it and wore it multiple times.

Had to wear with leggings because of the high slits on each side. Very comfortable and drawstring waist helps with making a larger size look smaller.

This dress didn't do me any favors. It was too much material overall for a petite frame, so even an XS looked oversized but not in a flattering way. As my husband said, "it looks like you're trying to hide something instead of trying to show something off." Pattern is fun and I'm sure it would work on other folks.

I was pretty underwhelmed by this dress. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. Print was...fine. Fit was...fine. (Runs a little big IMO, but it's pretty forgiving.) it was...fine.

So flattering and pretty. Can be dressed up or down.

fit great. so cute. love scotch and soda. wore it more than i planned. great throw on dress that made me feel "cool" every time i reached for it.

It reminded me more of a bathing suit cover up.

Like others mentioned, the slits were a bit too high for me. Good for zoom calls or a beach coverup. I did wear it to dinner but felt self conscious

Dress runs very large.....got the XL given my bust but there really is no need. Material is not cotton, more like a silky synthetic. Don't depend on the tie on the waist to make this dress work, knots will easily come undone given the fabric. The slits on the sides run high. Overall 3/5, was excited for the print but fit of the dress makes it feel somewhat like an oversized disaster without the right belt.

I enjoyed the pattern and the dress was fine when standing up, however, the slit on the side was inappropriately too high up when you sit down. I am 5'4".

In seeing the other reviews, thought this dress would be rather short on me (long torso) but it actually isn't short in the XL. Was prepared for something super short and was OK with that because I was planning on wearing it while others were in bathing suits / cover ups, yet it came closer to my knees than expected. Gorgeous print! Silky feeling was great, it looks and feels high quality. The tie to cinch the dress was in the "right" place and didn't draw too much attention to my busty figure. Loved wearing it and would wear to another vacation-y type of occasion.

Pros: beautiful unique pattern, easy to dress up or down. I wore it to work and then to an event after work with low heels - I am 5'6 and length was perfect for me just above the knee. Cons: Thin material, wish the drawstring in the waist was thicker/more comfortable. Bottom line - can't go wrong for an easy, pretty and versatile option!

Very cute dress, I wore a medium and it wasn't super short. Although, I did pair it with jeans for work because my bum made it rise and it wasn't exactly work appropriate by my standards.

Not a good fit if you have much of a stomach, couldn't wear. Print and colors were really pretty though.

Fabric is pretty. The fit was not flattering on me. Maybe should have ordered smaller size? Was not comfortable leaving this house in this dress, so did not wear.

I got this in the mail then just threw it on and went to work. It wasn't until I got to work and sat down that I realized I had slits on both sides up to my underwear and the slit on the top went down to my bra. It was so revealing.
