This dress was a nice work dress. It has the formality of a button up but the material and bottom make it business casual. I put a scarf around the waist to break up the blue. It was okay for California winter but better for spring and fall. The sleeves were a bit long for my short arms. I had to use clothing tape to keep the area between the buttons closed. It got a few creases after wearing it so it needs ironing or steaming. I will rent again.

Great comfortable dress for Friendsgiving. It does appear denim, but the material is much more light weight. For our Florida climate it was ideal. As a result, I opted to roll the sleeves up. I would suggest wearing a belt for a more defined waist. I could’ve gone with a large, but chose to wear an extra large because sometimes button downs can gap on me. I received many compliments during the evening. I would definitely rent again.

The fit was perfect and the material was great. I added a belt to give me a waistline and rolled up the sleeves for the hot summer. oh! and it has pockets!!!!

Looks modern and put-together without trying too hard. Loose easy fit. Super comfortable. Not too short, an inch above knee. 5ft 7. I liked the unique lightweight fabric. Somewhat sheer so have to wear dark undergarments. Needed a quick iron.

I really liked the fabric, but the buttons popped open a bit and didn't fit my petite and busty frame as well as I would have liked.

I really wanted to like this dress but it was not a flattering fit at all. The waist and chest was pretty loose and not fitted, but it clung at the hips and the shoulders, so there was a button gap right at my bra line and at my crotch. Surprisingly even though the upper arms are super tight the rest of the arms are very loose. I would only recommend this if you are rail thin without any curves, and if so, it may be best to size down. The sleeves were too long for me but then again I'm pretty short.

As you can see in the pic, I could get this on, but I definitely couldn't wear it! The waist was baggy and the hips were tight, which is often an issue for me. I would NOT recommend if you're an hourglass or pear-shaped. Since the 'About You' section isn't populating, I'm 5'5", 34C, hourglass, broad hips and shoulders, size 6 or 8 in most dresses.

Great dress for work meetings.

I thought the dress was denim but it's actually a very light material. Some other reviewer wrote that it may not be a good idea for wider hips and she's right. The pocket set so high on the dress that it may cause some women difficulty but I made it work with a belt. The pockets are virtually unusable. It's a great around town dress, comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I'm considering buying it and lowering the pockets.

This is a great, flattering dress for work or everyday. It's quite minimal, but the fabric and buttons are really interesting and unique in person. It's simple, but perfect. In person it's clear this is not Zara or H&M...it looks average in photos but is much nicer in person.

I wore this to work and received so many compliments. I did size up, i am normally a small but i got a medium, because i was worried the 4 would be too short for work, and the medium was the perfect length. It is very comfortable and versatile. I dressed it up for work with heels then with flats for running errands around town. Fabric is not breathable though, so I would avoid it in hot weather.

Great dress for work. Easy, flattering, nice navy color. It's very thin, though, and somewhat see through on the legs. It's definitely a warm weather dress even though it might not seem like it at first glance with the long sleeves and all.

Great casual everyday dress. I would have loved to err this with a simple belt but it came with a large hole in the back seam. Costumer service was excellent as always. Will rent it again though

It will need a belt at your waist as there is a clear separation between your waist and the bottom part of the dress. Easy to wear and not too short.

This dress was just too boring. Tried to make it more fun with a belt, but it runs large and it just wasn't worth the effort of trying to figure it out.

This is much more appropriate for fall or winter with tights, definitely not a late spring or summer dress! Like others have noted, the fabric is heavier and not breathable. It isn't a denim or a chambray; rather, a dark navy fabric with some sheen that was a bit difficult to iron. I thought this ran large or at least has a very relaxed fit- I dress very conservatively for work and could have seen myself sizing down to an XXS if that was an option (it isn't), based on all the extra room in the bodice especially.
