Fit: true to size, but slightly constricted in the shoulders. I definitely noticed while reaching for the steering wheel on the way to work. Pros: all around lovely for obvious reasons Unexpected: I had to wear a strapless bra because bra straps were a little narrow. The black scallops are an almost corduroy feeling fabric that looked a little faded and worn out probably from so much dry cleaning.

I have rented the pink one in a 10 and it felt just perfect, maybe a little snug so I got the 12 and it was definitely a little too big... Could still where it but I'm a tall 10 with a large chest so I sometimes feel more comfortable with a little extra fabric. This dress stuns.... So simple but yet, elegant.... I wear to work but could easily where to any event! Love. Love. Love.

I love Fit and Flare Styled Dresses! Since the waist is more fitted, I would recommend sizing up if you are unsure. The bust area had a decent amount of room, so i'd say most women could wear this! The black scalloped details on the dress and neckline is a nice addition and contrast to the navy throughout the rest of the piece. Very cute!

Rented for work but could wear on a night out - just length appropriate for work. Neckline is fun - not too tight . Will definitely rent again

Love this dress! So flattering! I'm between a 12 and a 10. The 12 was a little large, but went ahead and wore it anyway. Looser through the chest. (I'm a c-cup). Waist fit well. Wore to a Veteran's Day ceremony. Lots of compliments. The fabric is substantial and the Rick rack lays down perfectly. Flattering a- line cut was a bit below knee for this shortie.

The dress for perfect. I loved the gold zipper in the back. The material was heavy which made the dress look amazing. I got a ton of compliments.

Would love to wear this again. Shape is flattering. Great cool weather colors and can match with black tights. A little pull over the hips but once it's on it gets unlimited compliments! Thick material with shiny gold zipper in back.

I rented this for my college graduation photos and I loved it! I normally wear a 14, but RTR emailed me three days before my pictures to say that the 14 had been returned damaged, and that they would only be sending me my backup size (12) and another dress chosen by a stylist (customer service was AMAZING as always!). Thankfully, the 12 fit perfectly! I have been on a "weight loss journey" so I'm not sure if it's because of my weight loss or because the dress runs big. The material is pretty thick, which makes it feel a tad more business casual than cocktail, but I thought that it was appropriate for the occasion. And the ric rac detailing gives it more of a quirky personality. I think this dress is well suited to pear-shaped people like me because the top is more fitted and the bottom flares out and has more room. Overall, I loved it and would rent it again! Rented this for everyday work, loved the style and it was very comfortable. When I first pulled it out, it looked huge but then tried it on and felt like it fit true to size. Has a classic look to it and was a fun piece to wear. It is somewhat thick and holds it shape. I had to push down the black ruffles a few times from when I sat down and they lost the shape. I loved this dress and would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Cute dress but tight around the upper arm area and couldn't bring my arms up over my head when wearing it. Loved the shape and fit. A tad tight but fits like a glove. Will rise up over the bum if you have a big booty area. Did receive compliments at work about the dress but I wouldn't wear it again because of the above mentioned.

I loved this fit of this dress, but needed up not wearing as it was too dressy for the work Conference. The detailing was adorable and would be great for a wedding, dressier Event or even pictures. The only concern was how the top lays, I lift heavy and have a broad shoulder build so the neckline stood up a little on me. Otherwise the fit was true to size.

This dress is perfect for work and looks great with black tights and boots. Great fall look. The only drawback is that it is VERY tight in the arms. The waist and hips are actually a bit loose but the arms and shoulders run very small. It's hard to lift my arms. If you are top heavy I'd size up.

The shoulders are incredibly tight - as in you won't be able to raise your arms at all. The rest of the dress fit wonderfully.

I did not like this dress. The fit was just wrong. The shoulders were so tight i couldnt raise my arms but the chest and rest of the dress were too large. Was very eager to change out at the end of the day.

I wore this dress to present an award and wanted something sophisticated, but simple. This dress was perfect. It fit me well everywhere, but might be small in the bust for someone with a larger chest. I'm pear shaped, so it worked for me. I appreciated the a-line flare of the skirt, too. Showed off what I wanted to show, but took emphasis away from my hips. The length is work appropriate. Bonus that it can be worn with blue or black shoes. I wore black.

This dress has a great structure and is well made. The fabric is a thicker fabric but if you are a bit full figured it holds everything in place very well. Also if you have a narrow waist and bigger hips/butt, it is super flattering.

This is one of my favorite rents ever! I got so many compliments on this dress, the style and cut is very flattering.

Loved the style. Compliments galore. I got the 4 my usual size and could have sized down but it was fine for work. It wasn't baggy so I could say your your usual size if you're worried and go smaller if in doubt. Very comfortable. Fabric was thick and luxurious. I will definitely rent this again. Rent without hesitation!

If you're inbetween sizes, you can go down...unless you have a big chest. I have a smaller chest and smaller waist so it seemed a little loose. It's a cute dress!

I rented a size up, based on others' comments about it running small in the chest and armholes (and I agree with those reviews). However, doing so meant that it was HUGE below the waist. This would have been much better on a pear-shaped figure. Nice weight and details, though.

I ended up really liking this dress. It looks great with a blazer and the scallop detail on the skirt and collar is very unique and fun. The sleeves are cute very short and tight though, which can be uncomfortable!

I rented this for work and did end up wearing it but I definitely think it's cuter for a holiday party or work event/dinner rather than for the office. Fits true to size, fitted on top and the skirt flares out adorably. I recommend!

other reviews sum it up. Would be a good dress for someone tall and thin, not short, athletic build, with large bust. Dress was too tight through the shoulders and I didn't like how much the skirt jetted out. Wish it would have fit me better, but it didn't complement my body shape.

The dress is beautiful. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it's not very comfortable in the armpits. I have the correct size, but the thickness of the material and capped sleeves makes it really difficult to raise my arms. :(

I liked this dress, and the 6 fit everywhere but the shoulders! I'd size up if you dont have very narrow shoulders.

Dress is super cute, but it's very tight through the shoulders. I have a small chest and slender upper body but athletic shoulders, so it didn't work for me. May work well on petite frame and pear frame.

Pro: Loved the detail at the bottom. Wore with a black blazer over. The neckline felt awkward with a blazer but didn't look it. Also felt like my bra straps were sagging all day but it is the way the dress is cut on the sleeves with ric rac detail. Lastly, the black on the ric rac looks a little faded and right in the center was creased were it folded up.

Average rental. I am between a size 2 & 4. I decided to go up, and rented a 4. Being an A-line dress, the hip portion had plenty of stretchable room. The fit around the shoulders was a bit odd. It pulled a little, and was much smaller in proportion to the dress overall. I am smaller on my upper half, so in a size 4, the shoulders should've been tight.

You dont wear this dress, it wears you. The shoulder area floated above me to my chin. Its a cross between a Lucy (Charlie Brown) and Selina Meyer (Veep) dress. Good for a character, not a human. For me, at least.
