Previous reviews are absolutely correct, the arms on this dress are ridiculous. You're going to need help to get out of it. It's otherwise fabulous so I made it work by sizing up one and belting. There is enough of a stretch in the arms that they loosen up just enough to get by. You're certainly not going to be doing jumping jacks in it, but it's a GREAT dress otherwise--there's a subtle texture to the fabric, it's very flattering, and who doesn't love a statement sleeve!

Dress did a great job of hiding a post pregnancy pooch without looking frumpy. Great for travel since the material doesn't wrinkle.

Great fit, especially in the middle of my pregnancy. Worn with a belt. Perfect for a tall person like me as it is long!

I'm typically a 6-8 and got the size 40. It's a modest, flattering dress - but the arms were definitely tight. I was able to deal with it and received many compliments!

I like the print and neckline of the dress however I was disappointed with the feel of the fabric. Not certain I would rent this again although I did receive compliments wearing this dress.

Unfortunately wasn't able to wear this—the chest and shoulders were so tight, and I normally wear a 2, small or xsmall. The fabric was crepelike, and the pattern gorgeous floral—even prettier in person.

Comfortable

I couldn't decide whether this ran large or small. The body of the dress is kind of shapeless and loose, but for the low neckline, but the sleeves are snug, but not uncomfortably so -- there's a bit of elastic in them. The fabric is a lovely crepe and has a beautiful pattern, but I didn't love this. It would have been better if it were about two inches shorter (I'm 5'6") so it would be knee-length. This hit me mid-calf, which isn't my favorite length. The hemline has nice curves, but otherwise it's kind of sack-like. I needed a camisole to avoid displaying an abundance of cleavage. The fabric and pattern were nice enough to overcome these issues, though, so I did wear it. Wouldn't wear it again, but if you're tall, this could be a winner.

I did not care for the fabric pattern up close, seemed a bit different to me in the pictures online I guess. The sleeves were tight on me, so not something I could wear to work for teaching.

This runs small. I think I would have worn it anyway, except the sleeves were reeeeaaaally tight. So much so, that I don’t know if going up a size would make a difference. I do have muscular arms, but they’re not crazy large. The material is a nice weight and I love the print, but not for me.

The material is nice quality and does not cling. The arms fit to tight for me to move in. I do not have large arms. This would look better on someone with broader shoulders.

I wanted to love this dress so much, but this will be the lowest rating I've given. (I'm close to a year!). OnceI got it on, the sleeves felt like a straight jacket, the shoulders were huge and there was absolutely no shape to the middle of the dress. If you have an hourglass figure, you will probably not like this dress because it just hangs with no attempt to flatter at all. It may work if you are 6+ months pregnant, but if so, be sure you have help getting out of the straight jacket. As comparison, I love 100% of what I wear from Shoshanna.

The sleeves are weirdly tight, like squeeze your upper arm tight. Also, unless you are relatively small busted, this dress will not fit you. I got the biggest size offered to accommodate my large chest and I was not able to pull the dress down. I am so sad.

I should have read the reviews more carefully. I have fairly thin arms and I felt like I was forcing them into the sleeves of my 4 year old daughters dress, while the actual dress itself was loose and not flattering.

I couldn't wear this dress, I literally could not get it on because the sleeves are so narrow. it would have fit everywhere else. I consider myself athletic but my arms are by no means buff! the design of the dress, with no zips or closures, just pop over the head, makes for a sloppy fit. so oddly proportioned. My skinny 12 year old put the dress over her head and the sleeves barely fit her.

I would say that my arms are proportional to my body size. This dress was impossible to get on. The sleeves barely went past my elbows. I don't think that sizing up would help. Ridiculous fit. Pretty pattern if you could fit into it.
