I like wearing roomier coats, so I ordered this in my usual size 4 or a 38 according to the site conversion. As a very short person, this definitely dwarfed me and the scarf was hard to finagle with given the already copious amounts of fabric. It also confused my coworkers and friends a bit haha. It's one of those items you rent to treat yourself to something different. If I did it again, I would rent two sizes down (34). Very warm.

Delightfully oversized for those bulky layers, as well as poofy skirts! Dress it up or dress it down, I wore this every day for three months. Easily worth the cost of Unlimited all by itself. Hooded scarf is the obvious show-stealer (LOTS of random compliments from strangers) but I particularly appreciated the patch pockets -- big enough to hold my phone, a pair of gloves, keys, and wallet!

This coat runs large for sure. The sleeves and width made the coat almost be overwhelming on me (I am 5'1"). The chic silhouette, fabric, cut, and details made it still work despite being a little too big. The scarf/hood was fun and convenient though i took it off at times. It has huge front pockets that are great for when you leave the purse at home. It was warm enough to wear in upstate New York's below freezing winter.

Fits large so I ordered a small size and it fit perfectly. Love the style! And super comfortable.

I absolutely loved wearing this in November/December when NYC weather starts to cool down. It is such a fashionable coat and the built-in scarf came in really handy on windy days.

Wish I rented a size smaller - it was just big overall but I still really liked it. May rent again in a smaller size.

I chose my regular size for this coat hoping it would be a large and comfortable everyday wear and it was. The hood is HUGE so be prepared a full head covering. Perfect for cold rainy weather because you are fully covered by the warm coat. I could have sized down but I don't mind extra room in my outerwear.

No cons! Great coat, I expected to see more brown but when you are covered up you won't see much. It definitely kept me warm throughout the day and was a statement piece that looks great in photos. Loved it! May even consider buying it! lol

Very sturdy coat. I got it to wear around SF for a night of cable car hopping. Ended up getting sick so couldn't go but don't know if I would have worn it either as it was quite heavy. Did love the look and cut though felt it ran a bit big.

I loved this coat but it came without the hood/scarf piece. I still wore it, but it just wasn't the same and I am disappointed. Wrote to RTR about the scarf missing and their solution was to send the coat back, duh I have unlimited that's not a helpful solution that's what I normally am able to do. The coat has potential and if you are lucky enough to get one with both pieces you will LOVE it. It is a perfect over-sized cozy cool girl chic piece.

Fit well, was a little long for me, but still looked good. I received many complements.

This has been a great transitional jacket. Wool is functional and warm. The scarf panels don't quite stay in place but they are fun nevertheless. The sleeves are rather short (by design) so mind expectations for warm hands.

I LOVE this coat. It's so unique! When I wear it, I feel like I'm wearing something truly special. The pockets on the front are perfect for warming hands when walking to work on a cold morning. It looks great with or without the hood / scarf attachment. I love it!

This coat overwhelmed my 5'4 frame but I do think it will be a warm, comfy and unique coat for a much taller person (like 5'7+). I especially liked the detachable built in hood and scarf. Definitely size down.
