Great summer dress for work. Flattering, light and comfortable. Reviews made me nervous that this would be too sheer to wear but it wasn't at all!

Like what other reviewers have said, it is a bit sheer but that was perfect for the summer heat. The biggest issue I had was with the larger than desired gaps between the buttons. I would recommend wearing it with safety or black bike shorts underneath. loved the style though!! Edgy but comfortable :)

Light, ethereal, easy. Art Deco-like print. Good for around the house, but may be a bit sheer, gaps in buttons, for the outside world - so would need to pick suitable undergarments.

Well made, stylish dress! Thin silk material. High quality. I didn't think it was see thru, maybe a little bit but not an issue for me. I love the side slips. I think it looks quite expensive. Easy to wear. I wore black bike shorts under it, don't think I needed to, but for extra comfort, I did, and you wouldn't be able to tell that I was wearing bike shorts underneath.

So comfortable and chic. Could probably be made fancier, I wore it with sneakers to work for casual Friday. Love it did much.

I still have it lol. It's a flowing and comfy dress for going out to dinner or just shopping.

Wore this in a larger size for a party on a hot summer night. Rented again for beach vacation and this size was a little better. Versatile outfit that works as a day dress, or for dinner too. Does wrinkle, but due to the pattern it isn't so noticeable.

Love the overall fit and feel of this dress. I wore it twice and belted it. The only thing I was a teeny disappointed about was it is a empire waist, which was my fault for not catching that in the photos. Otherwise that great fit and loved this dress!

Buttons have big gaps in between. Size up if busty.

Wore this to work and it looked great. I think it would be a better dress for a brunch or shower. Most importantly, beware of the gaps between buttons. There is too much space and it can be inappropriate!

I rented this to wear to work and realized I would not be wearing it when I tried it on, sat down, and the space between every button opened, revealing skin/underwear, etc. It looked super cute when I was standing up! But you would definitely need a slip or some extra pins or something for when you sit.

I may rent in warm weather. I wore this once but it was just okay. Not great for winter at all. Looked like 1996 with boots. I wore with tights, but it's verrrry thin. Wish I'd take a pic before sending back!

This is why I love using rent the runway, I can get designer pieces I wouldn't normally buy because I can't justify the price tag. This dress was cute and slightly sheer as mentioned in other reviews. I didn't have any issue with that, but I did wear nude underwear with it. I love it because it's something I wouldn't necessarily buy for my own closet, but was fun and different. Definitely didn't seem like a $500+ dress though.

they forgot to put a button by the chest so if you have ANY sort of chest (even A cup) it will have a gap there and looks strange. I can pin it to wear as the rest is lovely - shame on the gaps between buttons like other reviewers have noted.

This dress is gorgeous, but COMPLETELY see-through. Could be a cute cover up and might work with a slip, but definitely was not a winner for work.

Didn't fit overall, would have to potentially safety pin in between buttons. Clung to my belly pooch :( not flattering for my frame.

Loved the 90's vibe of this dress for everyday. It hit more empire than I expected, but that made it super flattering on the body and I felt confident all day long.

This dress is lightweight and easy to wear. You look put together without trying too hard, though I would definitely recommend boots or booties, as heels would be overkill. The only downside is that the buttons are really far apart and because it's silk, they tend to gape when you're sitting down regardless of how much fabric there is. I would put fashion tape between some of the buttons, but DO NOT pin, as it will ruin the material for future users and would easily rip, given the fabric.

The dress is cute but there are two big flaws - 1. You must wear a slip. It's virtually see through. 2. The spacing between the buttons is very wide. It's not so much an issue while standing but as soon as you sit down and there's any tension at any button, you'll be showing more than you bargained for. Again, this is managed if you wear a white slip underneath but it still looks awkward.

I was really excited I got to order this. It came brand new with the tags on. Unfortunately, it's basically a sheer nightgown. It would maybe be good as a Bathing suit cover up but definitely not possible as a stand alone dress. At a minimum you need a serious slip - maybe even some skims!
