I wore this to a charity event in June in Chicago. Yes, it was a bit tight in the body, but I preferred the smaller size so that it fit better in the chest. I definitely sat up straighter and ate less for dinner, but I didn't need to fuss with the pulling the top up or the skirt down all night. I kind of expected a higher quality from the designer, but since I didn't purchase the dress, I was okay with it for the evening. I received compliments and felt great, and that was all I needed to enjoy the rest of the evening.

I loved this dress! Much prettier in person. I am usually between a 10 and a 12 and rented both sizes for a wedding. The 12 was a little loose, but more appropriate fitting for wedding. The 10 would have been better for Vegas or New Years. Great dress!

I normally wear a size 4, so I rented this in a 40 and a 42 -- the 42 fit better. It's very narrow through the hips, and there's a lot of room for the bust. The material has VERY LITTLE give -- I had to put my heels on before I put the dress on. It's a gorgeous dress, just not suited for my body type!

Pros: nice material, luxurious feel. Snug fit so you don't worry about it sliding down. Cons: cut small in bust, waist & hips. if you are very curvy, order a size up. I usually wear a 4 and could not get it past my hips.

I really like this dress, as it was sparkly but elegant at the same time. Looks exactly as the picture shows. However, the area around the rib cage felt really tight, so I went with my second rental. I could have endured it if I had to, but since I ordered another dress, I didn't have to. A size bigger would have been too loose in the bust, so that would not have helped. The dress is just tight in the area below the bust or perhaps I'm just disproportional.

Beautiful dress - runs pretty true to size, if not slightly large. Wore it to the dinner portion of my Bachelorette party and got lots of compliments.

Absolutely gorgeous dress -- I got compliments all night! Be aware that that material has absolutely no stretch (the shell is lurex, which is aluminum coated fabric). I had to put my shoes on before the dress since I couldn't bend over all of the way. I'd suggest going to the larger size on your backup. There was also a funny bunching problem under/between the breasts, which I hid with a long necklace. Despite all of that, I still loved it!

The dress met me in Las Vegas but both dresses (2 sizes for this one) had weird zippers. Since this dress was meeting me in Las Vegas, I thankfully packed a back up outfit for the party I planned to wear this to. Both zippers were broken and I had to be very careful all night. It was a great dress and I did receive lots of compliments but if you rent from RTR, be careful.

very snug. Make sure to order at least 1 size up. I normally wear a six but had to wear a 10 because the 8 was tight across the hips. The top fits well but the bottom half runs rather small. very pretty dress but make sure to get a size up!

True to what others said.. no give in the material. I could fit into 6 but couldn't move. I wore something else.

I usually wear a size 4 so I ordered a 40 and a 42. I ended up wearing neither. The dress runs narrow in the hips, so the 42 fit best, but the fabric has absolutely NO stretch. It was super uncomfortable. I couldn't even bend over to put my shoes on! I felt like I woudn't be able to dance and eat comfortably at the wedding reception, so I wore a different dress. It is very pretty, but beware of the stiff fabric!
