Wore this to a formal gala and it was hands-down one of my favorite formal rentals ever. The fit was beautiful and secure, hugged in all the right places, and photographed incredibly well. I felt confident, feminine, and powerful the entire night. It held up through standing, mingling, and dancing without losing shape. That said, it is fitted and slightly restrictive, so plan accordingly — you may need help in the restroom. Worth it though. If you want to walk into a room and have every head turn, this is the dress. Ideal for black-tie events where you want elegance with impact.

I was thrilled the dress fit perfectly. Generally, in dresses I need to size up for my broad shoulders so the 12 could of fit a little tighter through the body, but this way I was free to move around and it looked good. Loved the length - which was down to my ankles. I was a little surprised by the texture. I thought it was going to be sequins but it was a jacquard. Some jacquard materials can be too heavy. This was fairly light - so it didn't get too hot. This is a true statement piece.

I’d say this runs on the small side. It is very fitted but beautiful. Not much stretch to it, boning in the top to help it stay up which was nice. I received lots of compliments. It was in wonderful condition and came pressed and ready to wear. Perfect for a black tie event.

This dress was fabulous for my lanky frame and smaller bust - I usually have to yank up strapless dresses and this one stayed up all night through hugs, dancing, and sitting down then standing up over and over. It was tight and a little restrictive in the legs/hips since there’s no slit, but I am a true size 0-2 and it was a perfect fit! I loved it more than I thought I would!

Didn’t end up wearing to event but had as a backup. Size 6 was way too large—Sau Lee sizing isn’t consistent. The bodice may not be ideal for those with shorter torsos.

This formal dress is a flattering and chic choice for any black-tie event. The length is perfect for petites, hitting right at the ankle. A built-in corset is a huge bonus, ensuring the strapless dress stays perfectly in place all night. Be aware that this dress runs small. I recommend sizing up one or even two sizes, especially if you're in between sizes, to get the perfect fit.

Absolutely zero stretch with this one and slightly corseted feel on the top. Definitely more tapered if you're looking to really dance it might not be your best option but it's truly a stunning dress.

I wore this to a post-Grammy Awards party and it was perfect for the occasion! Zero stretch, so if you're curvier and/or have hips, size up. Didn't have to wear a bra because top held everything in perfectly.

This is the second Sau Lee dress I've rented for an event this year and it did not disappoint. The picture doesn't do it justice! Felt like a present. I always size up with this brand & went with a 4 instead of my usual 2. No issues with it staying in place.

Wore this dress to a wedding with an Old Hollywood Black Tie dress code, the dress was perfect and fit really well. The fabric is structured, yet comfortable, the bow is the perfect detail - got tons of compliments and loved wearing this dress. Definitely recommend!

I started with a size 4, but it was too tight - especially around my butt! Swapping for a 6 now.

Very slightly tight in the waist but still comfortable. Lined so not itchy. I never had to pull it up, it stayed put all night. Perfect.

Fit well, but I have a bit of a tummy. I order my on the small (optimistic) side. Should have worn better shapewear to suck it in. I think a larger size would have been too big. Nonetheless, I got compliments and would recommend this dress.

Wore for a black tie winter wedding and got so many compliments! Only call out is the top does have an inner corset so it is super snug - sizing up probably wouldn't solved for that.
