I was sooo excited about this bag! I’ll start with the positive: it was as big as it looked and held a lot for vacay (towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, phone… EVERYTHING). But the straps were too small to comfortably fit on your shoulder and it was just uncomfortable to hold. The fabric was of course scratchy too. Whether I held it or decided to wear it on my shoulder and right under my armpit it was just annoying. Wanted to love, but wouldn’t recommend for this reason.

I wanted to use this as a neverfull / easy every day tote bag. But this bag looked like it was intended to hold a portfolio with the look of the beach bag. The material was also incredible rough & itchy. I did not wear it.

I got a couple compliments on this bag. It’s good for a single person’s items at the pool. One towel. If you have two towels, you’re only getting sunscreen in that bag with them. I used it as a pool bag, but probably wouldn’t use it otherwise. It’s narrow and will look very flat if you don’t have something bulky in the bottom to hold the bottom open. It’s like pre-creased to fold down the center of the bottom and stays that way if you start out with a few items only. It could use a vinyl insert or something to help keep its shape. I didn’t experience the scratchy feeling that was described in reviews. It was surprisingly soft (?) so maybe that is from the company washing over time. In other reviews, I understand how someone would say it’s hard to hold on the shoulder. It’s not meant for the shoulder, but I was able to hold it that way when I needed/wanted my hands free. I have skinny arms and am bony. If you have a different stature, you might find it won’t go on your shoulder. Loved carrying it to the pool. It’s HEAVY to pack. This is no straw bag.

it's a little heavy but an AMAZING tote - used it as my personal item on my flights for our honeymoon and toted it all around italy - awesome bag!

This is a fun bag! My only complaint is that the bag is big enough to fit a good amount of things (tote bag size) but the straps are too small to put on my shoulder. So it’s a little heavy to carry around. Still, it was fun to rent but wouldn’t buy.

This was a fun transitional season bag. It was woven wool, not straw, so it's a springy bag for late winter, not a summery bag for hot weather. Held a lot of things and its structure.
