This dress is so luxe and unique. Stand out for sure. It is shorter in length so I wore heels most of the night and switched to flats for dancing. You can wear a strapless bra as the back closure hook is in the right spot!

The color was perfect with the fall leaves. It’s slightly tight in the waist and the open back looks best I think so if you have a strapless bra, try to wear that :)

I originally wanted a size 10, but since it wasn't available, I tried the size 8 instead. It was just slightly snug at the waist, but otherwise, the fit was perfect. The fabric was lightweight, and the velvety texture gave it such an elegant, luxurious feel. I wore it to a black-tie event, and the color truly stood out—eye-catching without being too bold. I absolutely loved this dress!

I wore this gown to a formal party - the gold velvet is so rich and deep. The dress is unlined and has an open back detail. I ordered a 4L and it fit true to size and the length for maxi for my height. With 4 inch heels the gown did not touch the ground and barely covered my shoes. Love the sheer detail.

More yellow than orange, this dress is perfect for a festive winter soirée. Loved the see-through burned-out velvet and was soft and comfortable to wear.

Everyone complemented my dress and told me how beautiful and unique it was. The color is gorgeous and I never were yellow or gold but this was beautiful. The fabric feels very luxurious. It was perfect for a winter wedding in an art deco building.

I am 6'2" while the dress definitely didn't kiss the floor, it hit at a nice length. I wore it for a wedding rehearsal dinner in Vegas and got lots of compliments!

This dress is truly stunning in person and makes you feel like a million bucks. Length is true to size- I'm 6ft tall so it hit the ankle but for shorter people, this would be full length. If you have curvy hips, size up but the chest area runs a bit big. The only caution is under garments- you need a low back bra and if wearing spanx, make sure they're not too long because it'll show through the shear part.

This dress still had the tag on it! Absolutely loved the dress!!! I would definitely rent it again but in a long because I was wearing heels. I especially loved the slightly see through portion in the legs. I got a size up for a 5 month baby bump and I was comfortable. Quick sticky bra also did the trick. HIGHLY recommend.

Wore for my family pictures. Went perfectly with the winter white and golden backdrop. The top was too baggy on my usual size so I used my backup size down. The waist was a bit snug, but I’m thicker in the middle. I thought the trade off in comfort was worth the garment fitting better on top for photos.

Luxurious fabric and rich color. The back has one hook and eye clasp or can be left open. The fabric is sheer on the lower half and shows even nude underwear. You need shape wear which ends high on your thigh. If you are very tall, even the long is an ankle dress, not floor length. I styled this with a fur for a fall wedding.

I typically wear a size 6 but in designer knew to size up. Wore this for a summer wedding but the fabric is light and was not too warm. Like some of the other reviews, I wore it with the back open and did not use the clasp. Preferred the look this way

Got so many compliments on this dress. I feel it ran a little small. The 12 fit well and was larger than my normal size. The length was perfect for my short frame

I wore this to a Mardi Gras party but wish I could wear it over and over to other events. I dressed it down with cowboy boots, but it would be absolutely gorgeous with strappy heels for a formal event. I’m in between a 4 and 6, this fit perfectly for dancing- definitely could NOT have sized down though. The front is loose and thick enough that I didn’t need a bra (with the open back I hoped to not need any stickies) and I don’t have great “bra less” boob shape. Dress is gold-ish yellow. Thinner, but I had Spanx shorts on and felt warm. Overall…just divine. Perfect fabric. So comfortable and got compliments all night.

I LOVED wearing this to a formal party in Paris! The cut and color are fantastic and I stood out in a sea of black. I received so many compliments and felt fantastic. The size 4 was not available so I went with a 6 and it worked well - the waist is small.

It drapes really beautifully and was so comfortable. It was a size bigger than I usually go for but it wasn’t overly big.

I LOVED this dress!! Looks and feels better in person than photographs. So comfortable and the color is amazing with dark hair and a red lip. I just wore pasties and gold shoes. I have a long torso, so the sheer portion went pretty far up and I had to hike my spanx up, but indoors it wasn’t too noticeable.

I wore this gown to a red carpet event and felt amazing. The velvet top with the sheer mid leg made it unusual and intriguing. I’m on the short side and was surprised the Regular didn’t touch the floor. That said, I had a short heel so I was able to walk effortlessly. I’d recommend the Long if you’re looking for something that works with a 3” inch or taller, or simply prefer a more draped gown at the bottom. The back is open other than a single hook and eye. It took time for me to find the right shape wear to accommodate a backless thong with bra support but once located by Spanx, I felt on point through the back and rear. The hip shifts at times, so I did check the position of the rear zipper several times and adjusted accordingly to ensure it was centered. Overall, a really interesting dress that is sure to get attention and be the only one in the crowd like it.

I ordered a 4 reg based on recommendation. The wait is very small and does not have stretch or give. It was also shorter than I would have liked it to be. Overall it was a fun holiday party dress.
