Wore this to a wedding 28 weeks pregnant and loved it. So comfy and chic. I did size up significantly to accommodate the waistband that isn't stretchy and as a result the top was big on me but the cut made it easy to pin in. I'm a size 6/8 pregnant and wore this in a 12.

Stunning, elegant dress. Photos don't do it justice -- there's a subtle pattern on the skirt. Back can be worn fully open or snapped shut in the middle.

Fit is great

I have never felt so beautiful. This dress completely restored my faith in formal wear. I got so many compliments and so many people said that I was the best dressed woman at the wedding. I won’t confirm or deny that, but I will say that rent the runway saved me with this dress and I would absolutely rent it again.

If this was not so winter wedding, I definitely would’ve bought this. I got so many compliments on it. It was the perfect fit, I don’t love my arms, and I felt like the fabric by the shoulders covered it enough, so it did not make me self-conscious

October is a tricky month temperature wise and the combination of the luxurious velvet material, high neck, plus the sleeveless and back opening design made it extremely comfortable. As a 71 year old, it can be difficult to find an appropriate style that still looks fashionable. I felt comfortable and not frumpy. As for the fit, designer sizes run at least a full size smaller than the usual. This dress also had a set-in waist with no give to it so it’s important to keep that measurement in mind when ordering. For those of us who are more long-waisted, this was perfect. The waist was on my waist and not up around my rib cage! The length is long for a tea length dress but with kitten heels, it fell to about an inch above my ankles. Overall, I felt comfortable and confident - not an easy task for someone who prefers shorts, shirts, athletic wear, and sneakers.

I wore this dress to a work event recently and I received many compliments! It’s the perfect balance between professional and fun with the open back style (comes with a clasp)! Being 5’8”, the length was perfect for my height. I felt so confident and elegant in this piece!

Would have loved to keep it. Needs a sticky bra. Back has a hook to close for a more conservative look or you can wear it open.

Pictures really don’t do this one justice. It’s so pretty, especially the subtle crinkling on the skirt. This is super comfortable and true to size. I loved how it looks pretty and simple in the front, but when you turn around the open back is a sexy surprise! I took a star off because it was a little longer than I would have preferred.

Wore this dress on Christmas and loved. Regret not buying it. Perfect for a holiday party or nice night out. Conservative enough for a work party. The back is gorgeous.

This was one of my backup dresses, but it ended up being perfect for a chilly fall wedding! The fabric was thick and comfy, and the open back was gorgeous. I’m average height (5’6”) and it was a little longer than I thought it would be, but it was not a big deal.

This dress was great for an outdoor holiday party in Los Angeles. The velvet was warm and the back added drama. Easy to wear too.

I wore this to a Literary Award and it was the perfect mix of elegant and sexy (in the back). I did not have to wear a bra, as the fabric is thick and ruffeled. Left the back open until the hips - but there is an option to close it mid way up. Highly recommended!

I wouldn’t have sized up because it would have been too big. I wore it to a formal reception and left the back open and don’t feel like I was showing too much. Would 100% rent it again for another event.
