Kind of corset vibes but fits like a glove!

I wore this in my normal dress size (6) and it fit perfectly! The built in corset has a separate zip closure for extra support- I’m busty and this really did work best without a bra. 34D. Now, it’s a corset so it doesn’t win any points for superior comfort but who cares when it looks this good. I didn’t find that the corset really cinched me in but it did support my bust. I wore it to a wedding on Sunday and a formal event in NYC on Monday night. Perfect for both and so many compliments! I’m 5’ 10” and the length was perfect. On someone shorter, it would definitely lean more mid calf. Couldn’t have loved it more!!

The dress is tailored from cotton velvet and is fully lined with deep, well-placed pockets. What makes this dress spectacular is the craftsmanship. From the envelope-fold detail that completely surrounds the strapless top, to the satin trim and button style in the front this is an exquisitely constructed and executed piece. The interior construction of the bodice features a fully boned built-in corset that will provide lift for smaller cup sizes and support for larger cups. This kind of detail is rare in modern dresses and is such a treat. The fit is true to size. Saloni is a favorite of mine and tends to cut a tight in the bust for cup sizes larger than a c-cup - because this dress is strapless and I planned on daytime wear, I ordered up a size from my usual to ensure full coverage. Had I known about the built-in corset, I would have ordered my usual. The material is classic cotton velvet and does not have any give. I have a large posterior and there was extra room in the larger size so again, I could have ordered my usual but ordering one size up did not leave me swimming in fabric and it still looked tailored. The dress is fully lined. This is a favorite find and I am considering buying it.

Compliments all night. This dress was voted best of the wedding by bride and groom (seriously). Fit like a glove. Hugs in all the right places. I’m normally a four and ordered a 2 and 4 and went with the 2.

LOVED this dress. Perfect for a winter wedding but I’d wear it everyday if I could. It fit so beautifully and was great quality. The built-in corset really added some nice structure to it and the fabric’s thickness really made it look/feel elegant. The second I took my coat off I was getting compliments. Definitely a great option if you’re on the petite side and worried about dress lengths

Wow!! I felt like red carpet royalty for my work holiday party in this dress. I went up a few sizes after reading the reviews. The 8 for me like a glove! I received so many compliments. Everyone wanted to know what I was wearing. Do it!

Great for a formal event where you want to be modest but still make a statement

This dress was lovely to wear. Exceptionally soft and comfortable. I also didn’t bother with a bra or nipple covers. It has a built-in corset that zips up with hooks at the top and bottom. Then there’s the outside zip which also has a hook at the top. But, for me, the corset underneath is what made this dress as great fit-wise as it was; I have bigger hip bones and it sat nicely on them. More people than I can remember said they loved the dress. The only con would be that it’s warm… so if you like to dance get ready to sweat. Rent it! You won’t regret it.

Beware, there is a built in corset which is nice because you do not need a bra. However, the corset on my dress was very painful and scratched me in multiple places. Aside from that, this dress is absolutely gorgeous for any cocktail affair. If you’re looking to overlook a bit of discomfort, you’ll get lots of compliments and will look stunning.

I got SO many compliments on this dress. It looks and feels expensive. There’s a corset plus the normal dress zip that helps give you the hour glass shape. I gave it 4/5 stars only because the corset was really hard to button and zip up. Rent this dress, you will love it!

Beautiful dress, lots of compliments! Only downside was the corset on the inside which poked from time to time. I sized up to allow the corset to be more comfortable and was happy with that decision.

Dress was true to size and fit perfectly. Felt secure all night and did not have to worry about dress falling down at all. The corset does poke a little but was not bad. Overall would recommend!!

This dress is beautiful, Buttttt….the corset zips up inside the dress. And therefore, digs into your waist so deeply. My husband wanted to dance with me and I had to say he couldn’t put a hand on my waist because it hurt too much. Also, the zipper gets stuck zipping it up as the corset makes it a different thickness than the bottom half of the dress. So, while I loved the look of the dress…. It was a nightmare to wear.

This dress fit like a dream. The corset held everything in and up, and the body was beautifully fitted. It is lined on the interior, making for smooth movement while wearing it.

This dress is amazing. It’s thick so I don’t recommend it for a summer event, but it was perfect for my company holiday party. It has a built in corset like others mentions which does cinch you at the waist and gives you a great hourglass figure. I will say that unlike others I did not find it uncomfortable and it actually made me feel very secured in the dress. Overall I highly recommend this rental.

Th touches on this dress made it perfect for NYE (I paired it with a black velvet shoulder jacket) it is a completely flattering dress. A built-in corset structure means a bra is not necessary. Perhaps most important to me and maybe to you, too, is that is made not from cheap polyester, but from beautiful cotton velvet touched with silk detailing. Note to RTR, please stock more natural fiber dresses!

This was a great dress for a formal wedding. It is heavy and velvet so maybe not an early fall or summer pick, but beautiful nonetheless. Always a plus, I didn’t have to wear a bra! It was very form fitting and had pockets. The built in corset wasn’t uncomfortable, but did leave scratches on my torso the next day.

The corset in the dress was coming apart so the boning was stabbing into my sides with no fabric to cover. If that wasn’t the case I would’ve worn this baby immediately
