True to size. The fit was comfortable- the sleeves were a bit small, which prevented me from layering but I didn't really need to bundle up because the jacket was insulating. The knit collar does come off.

Rented this for a work trip to France in winter - was able to dress it down and up. Perfect for 40 degree weather. Very versatile. It did not come with the detachable knit collar, which was a bit disappointing. Definitely not oversized and the sleeves are a little narrow, would not fit over a thick sweater. Size up if you want the oversized look. Thinking of buying this one!

Worn with a black n white turtle neck sweater, black jeans and black high heel boots. Hot!

I live in FLorida and rented this for an early December work trip to Toronto. It was roomy enough to layer my sweater under and made me feel chic. It is not a heavy winter coat but the perfect weight for late fall to early winter.

Perfect color, great to dress up or down. Also like that you can take the ribbed collar off and on for versatility. I wouldn’t wear it on the coldest days, but keeps you warm enough for most.

Jacket fit everywhere, but was too tight in the arms for wearing long sleeves underneath. Love the design and color. Not too hot for early fall.

As others have said, this is a thin coat. I ended up not wearing it because I needed something warmer but it would work for temperatures in the 40s. It was a little big in the hips for me, I should have sized down but I rented only size available.

I must have missed it on the description, but this jacket is more like a heavy, tightly woven sweater material. I love the lighter, neutral color. The sweater collar is detachable. Looks expensive.

Definitely not a winter coat, the weight is more suited to fall/spring in colder climates. Fit well with a sweater underneath. It oddly wrinkles a lot for a wool coat but was a good coat to fly with as it isn't too heavy or cumbersome. Ran true to size.

I cannot gush over this coat enough and if I could justify buying it right now I would! So so comfy and warm perfect for spring weather right now (all seasons really), super cute and flattering as well, it’s not stiff at all the material is very soft, and is the perfect thing to wear to instantly upgrade an outfit.

I had to repair the pockets-they weren't tacked down so it was really poofy and they moved around. Used a micro stitch to fix it but RTR needs to have it professionally mended. Also, the collar is sewed on. I didn't expect that but was able to re button to tuck it in.

Loved this coat. Color was perfect, sweater collar made it feel a little unique and luxe. The fact that it wasn’t really lined made it drape well and give some shape. It was also great to fit over little jackets for work. The only downside was the material didn’t look very durable and seemed like it would only last a season or maybe two before it started to pill and look too worn to wear.

Brought this with me to a fall wedding to throw on over my dress in the evening when it got chilly and it was perfect. Not too heavy, so it was easy to pack. Lightweight but kept me warm.

Not super thick and a really pretty color!

I wanted a spring coat for those days when it is 40 degrees in the morning but 65 in the afternoon. This coat is perfect for that. It's warm enough for a slightly chilly morning, but would not be warm enough for winter. Note to RTR: More transitional spring top coats please!!!

I wore this every day. It was warm but not too thick. Very classy and I received many compliments. I would have purchased but the price was a bit too steep!

Perfect fit and length. A beautiful, fall coat. It cinches at the waist to keep out unwanted breezes but since it is not lined, it won't keep out the chilly air. However, if you're looking for a late autumn accessory in a fabulous color, you can't go wrong!

Loved this coat. It's unlined and pretty light so best for spring or fall. I liked the sweater collar so left it on, but it's removable. I wore for a work trip and felt polished and professional - and warm! The color goes with everything.
