This dress is very flattering - the underneath layer hugs and the top layer hides. Was great for a date. Cons: the material inside does feel scratchy / may need to pair w a tank. Fitting in the waist so order up if in between sizes.

I usually get a 6&8 and usually wear the 8. Reviews said size up but the 10 was huge!!! 8 fit great however the under-layer fit like a pencil skirts and was super tight on my booty. Super fun dress with lots of compliments all night!

I wore this to a Halloween Party at Disney. I just added some Minnie Ears for my "costume." This dress fit perfectly, hinted at cleavage without showing much skin, and was a cute length, but not too short. I would absolutely rent this again!

I wore it to prom and it definitely stood out! It was unlike any other dress there. I wore it with red shoes which made the dress colors pop even more! It was very easy and comfortable to dance in. I would highly recommend if you're looking for something fun but also still nice.

I liked how this dress offered something a little different -- it helped me stand out from the crowd at my ex's wedding (obviously an event in and of itself...) It is conservative and safe for dancing, but the mesh covering makes it feel much younger

I wore this to a local fashion show and got so many compliments. The mesh overlay made me feel sultry and edgy. I'm glad I rented the additional size. I usually wear an 8 but it was way too tight so I ended up wearing the size 10. It was still a little tight when sitting but definitely worth it.

Wore this for a daytime Kentucky Derby Party! Definitely runs small. I'm taller and have a larger bottom half so this dress was tighter around my butt and thighs. The top black layer is super forgiving and everyone loved this dress! Next time, I wouldn't eat pizza for a week prior to wearing it...that might help.

Unique dress, I received many compliments. The fit was perfect. The mesh outer fabric hid flaws nicely. I wore a regular bra with it, but the straps were sometimes visible. I recommend racerback or strapless (or no bra, the ladies will stay put). No cons.

I have a short torso so I felt like the dress sat a little odd on me but added a black tie belt which helped. Was a fun dress! Was sexy without being revealing. Dance the night away, material doesn't wrinkle and is easy and comfortable to move in. Can wear any color shoe with this pattern.

Love the netting over this dress! This dress would just be a plain floral dress, but the amazing netting that wraps around gives it a whole new feel! V neck is pretty low, so a black bra is a must. Skirt is tight on the hips, so sitting is slightly uncomfortable. Overall great cocktail dress.

The bottom layer is much tighter and does not have much stretch compared to the outer layer. I got tons of complements on this dress though and it was a great unique look.

As a fashion blogger for Leather Lovely pH7, I try on a lot of dresses to find the perfect ones I can switch between work and fun time. This dress had the perfect length so that you can wear it to work and then go out for a night on the town and it felt like it was made for me! Perfect fit, and super comfortable. Also did NOT need a bra for this (I'm a 38C normally, and usually wear a bra! haha) It's a style that can easily be dressed down with a jean jacket and flats (or platform oxfords like mine! ) or dressed up with a killer handbag and heels (heels not shown here). I have a big bust and a wide back so I usually have to wear a size up and have the bottom altered smaller. This dress was amazing. I ordered the 12 because all the reviews said it was small in the bust. I added a cute Patent leather belt to match my shoes and maid it tight as possible I got so many compliments! Cool dress! I was very excited to try this on in the Georgetown showroom because the layers look fabulous even on the hanger. When I tried it on, the stylists in the store were just as obsessed with it as I was. I'm a usual size 0 with full B cups and while it looked amazing on, the bottom layer was a little snug. The mesh over layer keep the dress really youthful and trendy and I had a lot of fun wearing it to the Kennedy Center for a Christmas Day show!

I ordered the 12 because other reviews mentioned a tight fit in the hips. I have pretty full hips so I followed the advice. It was VERY tight on my hips. If there hadn't been the mesh overlay, I probably wouldn't have worn it. However, the mesh acted as a great cover up for the snug sheath. Simultaneously, it was large in the bust. I am a 36D and was scrambling to find a bra that would fill it out. I would love to buy this beautiful dress but I'd have it altered. Overall, this dress was amazing. I wore it to a holiday party. My boyfriend wouldn't stop staring at me all night :). I would definitely rent again - after a few more workouts.

Flattering shape and cut

I cannot stop raving about the mesh detailing of this dress. It is such a unique and fun option for a cocktail attire event or party. One thing to note is the floral fabric has no stretch so definitely size up for a backup if you tend to be wider in the hips. I also recommend wearing a new bra or no bra due to the deep V neckline.

Edgy and classy, only up close do you notice the style is slightly masochistic with the overlay being black mesh. The empire waist sits slightly lower than I preferred (long torso) so it cut into me a little bit throughout the night, but you couldn't see that and I wore spanx to prevent the bulge where it would have protruded (slightly visible in try on pic but smooth w/ spanx). I am somewhere between an 8-10 and chose the 8 because it fit nicer and was better for a Miami wedding.

Love the classic black on top of the colorful floral. Slightly different than the usual peplum with the mesh... all in all a fun, different dress. Great for a cocktail hour, artsy party (I wore it to an auction tea), or party...

Gorgeous dress but if you have hips beware. The size 4 fit perfectly except for the hips, waaaaay tight. My backup, size 6, was too loose at the top and belly so I ended up wearing the 4. Paired with some royal blue pumps to play up the colors peaking throught.

Cute dress overall, but things to note: the inner floral part of the dress is made of a very stiff material - almost like a couch or curtain - so it has zero flex and it's cut very straight. My normal size fit everywhere but the thighs... I couldn't sit down! Even the size up I had to pull up the inner dress when I sat. I'm not super curvy in the hips, so keep in mind when you order! Overall though, it worked for the night and I was happy with how it looked.

This dress was so much fun! Just a few things to point out, the mesh on the outside is sewn into the seams on the chest and is ITCHY if you're not wearing a bra! Otherwise, awesome dress. For a back-up size, I'd say go up.

I needed a dress to wear for a party with creative cocktail attire. RTR didn't let me down. My dress looked perfect. The only thing that could have been better is the fit of the skirt. As others have mentioned, the fabric has ZERO stretch. So, although the skirt fit pretty well when standing ( yes, with Spanx), it was super tight when sitting down. But, the dress was so cute, it's worth it. And yes, the netting over the dress is very forgiving.

Loved this dress for my friend's 30th birthday. I wanted to be dressy but still fun (and not be the center of attention) and this dress was perfect. I'm normally a 4 or 6 and this 6 was pretty tight around my waist. I think the 8 would have been the best choice for me. This dress is WAAAAY better in real life, these pictures don't do it justice. The shape of the dress really made be feel confident as it hugged my waist and belled out, covering my midsection which I'm always insecure about. My profile looked great! Highly recommend, just size up!
