A beautiful fit! The cut is retro, but the different fabrics and prints give it a trendy look. The fabrics are heavy so the feeling is luxurious. I loved wearing it and is the first RTR dress that I wish I owned. I received so many compliments. I felt like the belle of the party.

The material is heavy so I wouldn't choose this to wear on a very hot day. The length is great for tall women. I'm 5'9''.

When my RTR's stylist brought this dress into the dressing room I thought it was...ugly. But she convinced me to give it a try and I have to say: Elle was right! This dress is so beautiful and so different that I just couldn't say no to it. The top is slimming and the scoop back and flowers are super feminine. The ball gown skirt is very full (I think it does add a few pounds) and I loved the see-through fabric trim and tea length. I wore it to a southern vineyard wedding and felt comfortable enough to go braless (always a plus) wearing the 6 instead of my regular size 8 (which I didn't even try on even though it was my back up size). But you can definitely wear a strapless bra with it. Got tons of compliments from both friends and strangers at the wedding (and on Facebook) and my baby loved playing hide and seek under the skirt during cocktail hour. Need I say more? Great first experience with RTR.

Stunning dress. Compliments from everyone. Ridiculously comfortable. A little larger through the waist but not a problem. I'm short so when I sat the straps popped up but the bodice fit nicely so it didn't gape.

Let me start by saying that the model pictures do not do it justice. The fabric of this dress is amazing and the gray hues are beautiful. If you are not afraid to standout, I highly recommend renting this dress. It is truly excellent quality with beautiful detail.

This is the first time I've ever used RTR and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience. I am in between sizes right now, and I was nervous that they didn't have a size up, 8, as my free back-up. I was able to fit into the 6R just fine. It was a little snug around my rib cage, but overall a great fit. The dress has pockets which was a huge plus! Since the dress has enough going on, it was nice not to have to worry about pairing much jewelry with it. I received so many compliments on this dress!! I told everyone that I got it from RTR and will definitely do it again!

I tried this dress when I was in NYC last fall, and decided that this would be the dress I got married in. It was perfect in every way, and I got so many compliments. Plus, POCKETS! I usually wear a 6 or 8, but luckily had the opportunity to try this dress before renting it. I could have done the 8, but was more comfortable in the 10.

I got this dress after my original order for a tea length skirt became unavailable. (Got an email about it two nights before the event, and this dress didn't arrive the next day until about 8pm). The original skirt I ordered said to size down, so I got a zero. So then all the dresses as backups they sent me were also sized down to a zero. Needless to say I was panicking and very upset about such a last minute change. RTR told me this dress was coming, I looked it up online and was convinced it wouldn't work. The picture does not do the dress ANY justice. In person, the fabric is luscious and thick and smooth and beautiful. The bust is a little tight so if you have any shape up there (which I don't) I would size up (somehow the zero ended up working for me). Perfect for a formal or black tie affair. I'm 5'7'' and the dress was just long enough to be tea length and formal.

I ordered the 4 and 2 thinking I would wear the 4 (my usual size). Sometimes I can go in between but I wanted the top a little tighter so I chose the 2. That way the straps fit more properly. I received so many compliments all night and felt like Audrey Hepburn. The skirt is full but not over the top and the open back makes it a little sexy!

I ordered this dress (and a second different dress) for a floral-themed gala fundraiser. While both fit perfectly, this one was the clear winner. The gorgeous fabric and design with floral details on the bodice and a full skirt (with pockets) made for a show-stopping dress that was also very comfortable to wear. (Helpful hint - while I could easily have gone without a bra, I chose to wear a strapless one to give me a little more 'shape' up top.) I added a little color by wearing red heels and carrying a red and black evening bag. The event was a fundraiser which started with a cocktail hour and silent auction and even in the crowded room, people were seeking me out to tell me how much they loved my dress. I don't know when I've received that many compliments (all from complete strangers) in one night on what I was wearing. If I could purchase this dress, I would but as a minimum, I will likely rent it again for another event.

This fun floral dress has a lovely shine that glimmers under light, as well as unique, delicate beading on the black top that adds some extra shimmer to your outfit. I also really liked the look of the special netting at the bottom of the skirt, and the pockets in the full skirt are an added bonus! While this dress is great for any cup size and allows comfortable room at the hips, this dress has no stretch and is fitted at the natural waist, so we recommend going one size up for back up. The low back is sexy, and you should wear a strapless bra with this on. This is perfect for Athletic, Full Bust, Hourglass, Pear, Petite, Tall, Straight & Narrow body types. I paired with a silver/gray clutch while at my event.

I have a very large chest (34DDD) and this dress fit amazingly!!! It was perfect. I wore it to my sisters rehearsal dinner. The length hit me in a great spot, but could be a little weird for someone who is not as tall as I am. It was a very Carrie Bradshaw moment and I LOVED it!! I seriously wish I could have kept it! One of the most comfortable formal teases I've ever worn. Rented this for a black tie optional wedding in Newport in October. Felt like I could eat, drink, dance and sit and stand - all night. Perfect dress for a wedding from the ceremony to the reception. Loved the detail on the chest. I didn't wear a bra but you could easily fit a strapless bra.

The dress is gorgeous! I love long dresses but not too long. it's still convenient to walk, but it's long enough that it feels quite formal. The black and the patterns are beautiful.

When my stylist brought this dress out, I said "absolutely not!", however when I put it on, I felt so confident! The bottom part is sheer stripes, which made it a midi length (very "in" right now) and the best part is that it has pockets! I styled it with very simple hair, jewelry, makeup, and shoes because there is a lot going on with the dress. The back is pretty low, so I had to wear sticky boobs, but they stayed in place all night because the top is fitted. Overall, I surprisingly LOVED this dress and was sad that it had to go back!

This is my favorite rental so far. I felt like myself in this dress, but like a 50s movie star! I got constant compliments. The straps are a little long so if you are petite or have a short torso I would pin them or consider another dress. It runs a little bit large. The length is amazing, the fabric is amazing (it almost glows!), it is really comfortable. Wish I could keep it forever!

Wore this to a black tie wedding and got lots of complements from other wedding guests, many of which I didn't know. I am only 5'0 and petit so the straps were way too long, but I just used a safety pin to shorten them up. Very comfortable. And it has POCKETS!!! Not sure if RTR ever sells their dresses after they take them out of rotation, but I am interested in buying if they do!

The side on this dress is super tricky. You have to get it all in one go. I can be anywhere from a 6-10 and both the 8 and the 6 fit, but the 8 arrived with the zipper broken so luckily the 6 fit my naturally larger rib cage. Overall, the dress fit perfectly once I got the zipper up and I felt so pretty all night! Love rent the runway.

This dress was much higher quality than anything I would have purchased (and likely only worn once). The fit was fantastic on top: I am full chested and only 5'3" and I really liked how this dress fit my curves.

The skirt is quite full - it might be too full for some. I received compliments on the dress. I think it fits true to size. I usually wear a 4 and the 4 would have fit better than the 6 I ordered.

I rented two dresses and in the end wore the other one. This dress would perhaps look best on a slim body type, but at the same time the top was loose and straps kept falling off (at 34DDD!). I'm tall, but it was still too long (definitely longer than on model). It definitely ads pounds and is itself heavy. Still, it is a stunning piece for an evening formal, the textile and detailing are absolutely gorgeous.

This was my backup dress for an April wedding and I ended up wearing it when my first pick just didn't fit right. Comfort is PRIORITY with me and this dress is extremely comfortable! It fit me just perfectly. I wore a cleavage couture bra with it to fill out the front a little, but it wasn't really necessary. The high neckline is perfect for all my ladies out there not wishing to go full cleavage on a night out. The skirt is far more beautiful in person than in photos online, the material is very classy, shiny and a bit grayer than the pics let on. I got lots of compliments on the dress and how unique it is. No one was wearing anything like it which made me happy! The skirt is fuller and longer than it looked in photos which I would consider if you are going to rent this. My fiancé kept sitting on it by accident, and it felt a little too big when I was on the dance floor. BUT, that being said, it allowed for total movement of my legs so I was beyond comfortable all night! It has pockets which is cool I suppose, but I wished the pockets weren't there so the hip area would be smoother. If you are looking for a comfortable, true to size, classy and conservative dress, this one is for you. The back is low cut which is pretty much the only sexy factor to it, making it appropriate for a wide range of events. But if you are looking for a sexy knock out dress I would pick something else. All in all, I really enjoyed wearing this dress!
