Absolutely loved this dress that I wore to my bridal shower. It was a bit short but still appropriate for the event. I ordered a 6 due to the loose fit, though I often wear an 8. This may have contributed to the short hemline. Note the open back and plan accordingly with your undergarments!

The dress runs a little bit big, I had to call and have the next size smaller shipped to me which fit perfectly. I would suggest ordering the size that you usually wear and the next size down as well to see which works for you. Because it has a mesh back you have to wear a sticky bra. Overall the dress was perfect and it isn't skin tight so you have room to breathe as well. I am 5'3" so the length worked on me but I think taller people may run into trouble with it being too short, because it is really short. Great dress I would rent again!

I rented this dress for my bridal shower and I received tons of compliments. I usually wear a size 4, and based on other reviews, I ordered my normal size and one size down. The 4 was a little loose, but it's a shift dress, so it looked fine. The size 2 also fit, but it was a little too short for a bridal shower. Overall, the dress was very comfortable, but you do need to wear a sticky bra since the whole back is mesh. Definitely a unique dress!

I rented this as a possibility for my bridal shower. I loved the flower details on the front; they're classy and pretty. But the netting was just so contradictory to the flowers. It didn't seem like it would fit any particular kind of occasion. The sleeves were an awkward length and cut.

Runs a bit small. I didnt wear a bra because of the back. I choose to wear pasties but if you are small you can go without. Slip is longer than lace but it looks like it should be that way. I would wear again!

Daughter was not fond of the zipper in the back and thought it did not accentuate her shape enough. Everyone else totally disagreed with her. She looked fantastic and the fit was great. She is 5'2" and 118lbs and she wore the 2.

Rented this beauty for my under the sea bridal shower. You can't tell in the pictures, but the lace layer is really more of a netting, which was perfect! It is very short, I'm 5'7" and wore 3" heels, and was fine standing but did have to be mindful of the length while sitting in front of everyone opening gifts. The slip does peek out in the bottom a bit, but I actually liked the layered look it gave. Got many compliments, and felt great!

Rented this for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic NY. Looked gorgeous, beautiful fabric, high quality. Appreciated the open back because it was a hot day. Very comfortable to move around in. Surprisingly was able to size down to a 10 (normally am a 12).

I wore this dress for my bachelorette party down the shore and it was perfect! The dress is short, as other reviews say, but runs large. I ended up wearing a 2 (normally I wear a 4) and just not dancing with my arms over my head too much. This dress was stunning and I felt amazing in it!

The back is stunning. I pulled my hair to the side or you could wear it up. The slip underneath fell below the lace on the 4 but it wasn't a huge deal. Very happy with this dress!!

I absolutely loved this dress! I rented it for the final night of my sorority's three night initiation rituals. It was flattering, comfortable, and a great balance between classy and sexy. You can dress it up or dress it down! I am 5'7 and this dress is on the shorter side. It didn't bother me at all, but if you are taller, sitting down a lot, or trying to stay on the modest side, I would keep that in mind. Overall, I was so pleased. If the opportunity ever arises for me to purchase it, I definitely will!

Perfect fit and true to size. Not too tight but fit perfectly in the bust and wasn't too loose. I have problems with shift dresses not being flattering but I got a ton of compliments.

RTR sent me this dress as an alternate since my requested dress wasn't available in my size. I considered ordering this dress originally, but was concerned about the sheer mesh back. I'm so glad they sent this to me! It fit perfectly, and I loved the lace appliqué detail on the mesh. I didn't wear a bra, but you couldn't tell because of the fabric and design of the dress. This dress is one of my favorites! The sheer parts make it pretty sexy, but the length of the sleeves and the loose shift fit tone it down.

I originally ordered something else for an all white event.. apparently the "bag" RTR now ships in had a shipping card insert that fell out with ease in transit. UPS only delivered the card and not the bag that was supposed to be attached, so my garment never arrived and there were no more sizes available when I called. Rent the Runway MUST refine their shipping bag systems and FAST, otherwise they will receive a reputation for being unreliable... and NO woman wants to deal with not having something to wear for her event. The stylist searched thru my other hearts and found this.. it worked perfect. Cant wear a bra but it's a true shift dress, a bit short even on me (4'11) but it fit great! I normally wear a 2 for tight fitting dresses and I ordered a 0. The "lace" is more like a fishnet and the white flower detail on the dress is more of a ivory contrast. Gorg!

I felt like a million bucks at my wedding rehearsal dinner in this dress! I paired it with nude heels, a red lip and minimal jewelry as it is outstanding on its own. I tried the 2 and 4 on in the store and decided to go with the size 2 after it passed the sitting down test. I was able to move freely without worry that it was going to ride up. It's the perfect length for my body. I got endless compliments all night and was sad to have to take it off and return it.

I went with the larger size for the room in the arms and hips. The placement of the appliques was perfect to go braless. The length was good for me being 5'3" however maybe a little short for someone with longer legs.

This dress was comfortable and cute for a NYE party. Even though it's white, the material is thick enough to go braless since the back of the dress is completely sheer. The dress wasn't quite as mini or fitted on me as it appears on the model. My favorite part of the dress was the detailing on the sleeves.

I love this dress--it fit a little looser than some of the other 8's that I've gotten from RTW, but that's fine—it looked great. I was a little bit disappointed because the mesh looks like a very sheer fabric in the pictures, but in real life is more of a fine fishnet sort of material, but it still looked really lovely. It's comfortable, fashionable, long enough (which is a big deal on my 5' 9" frame) and fit perfectly everywhere, even over my bust. Love!

The material is very different than what I expected, the back is made of more of a large set mesh, at first, it reminded me of a butterfly net, but once on this detail fades away and is hardly noticeable. The front is set on a sheer panel and is absolutely stunning, while the arms are made of that same large set mesh. This dress is a bit short, even on my smaller 5'5" frame, but the occasion allowed for that. I originally planned to wear this to my rehearsal dinner and changed my mind at the last minute, ultimately I am happy I did not wear this to my rehearsal as, in my opinion, it would not have been appropriate (due to length). Overall, I highly recommend this dress for the right occasion!

I rented this dress for my bachelorette party in April (I liked that it had longer sleeves for chillier weather). The dress has pretty details but every time I raised my hands or bent over slightly the dressed was way too short. I saw other reviews about the length but decided to ignore because I'm just under 5'5". It also runs a little large although I think that's the style -- the 4 was a little loose on me and I often wear a 4 or a 6. I ended up not wearing because I knew I would be worried about the length all day. If you're truly short or don't mind monitoring the dress riding up then it could still be a good match.

I absolutely loved this dress and wore it twice on my vacation. It does run a little big, but the 4 still fit me well. It's also short!! I wore this dress out on the first night of my bachelorette weekend. It is such a fun flirty dress. I received a ton of compliments. It is a bit loose at size 2, so I am sure I could have ordered a size down (0) and it would have fit a bit more snug. It is short but was appropriate for the night out!

I loved it! Only con is it show your back bra strap but if I had a different bar with the low back it would be better. I didn't care and still wore it. Its a little snug in the arm pits but that's cause I have full arms.
