I was a guest at an Indian wedding and was instructed to wear gold. This dress felt like a fairy tale. It was gold without being gaudy and fit great. I thought I had requested a size down as my backup, but the 8 worked, and stayed up without looking too roomy. It was comfortable to dance in and I received compliments all night long! I almost didn't want to send it back!

I got a ton of compliments on this dress. It really does shimmer, like it does in the photo. It was was very comfortable and easy to wear. It runs mostly true to size, possibly a little big. The 6 fit best- and I'm usually between and 6 and an 8- but due to damage to the dress (which RTR very helpfully offered refund credit to make up for), I had to wear the 8. It was only slightly roomy, and definitely still fit. Gorgeous dress, very classy. Length is perfect- long enough to be formal but the tea length is great for dancing, walking around, etc.

The bust of the dress was beautifully structured and didn't slip all night. The length was perfect as I was hosting a scholarship pageant and needed a formal look without taking away from the contestants themselves. The pattern looked beautiful under the stage lights and received multiple compliments on the dress and how it looked against my skin tone.

I wore this dress to my Ring Dance, and absolutely loved it. I am very short (about 5'1") and did not want to wear heels so I was worried that this dress, even at tea length, would be too long. It wasn't! It fit perfectly, even when I was in flats. It was a bit loose around the waist, but with fashion tape it stayed in place the whole night. It's even more gorgeous than in the picture, it literally glows! Several people said that I was the best dressed at the whole dance, and I felt that that this was one of the most unique I have seen. The customer service at RTR was also extremely helpful in showing me which dresses would be a good fit for someone as short as me. Again, great dress!!

I usually wear 4, but wore the 2, so I would order your size and one size down. Dress is longer than midi on us short people, so you need heels! I wore it with a cropped black jacket for a work-related evening event, and it was perfect!

I was hesitant about renting a dress because I find that being pear shaped* makes it difficult to gauge things online. However, the fit was perfect. I usually wear size 6 because of my hip size but, my bust works better in a size 4. As this was an a-line dress the 4 was the perfect fit. I didn't even try the 6. I've never worn a tea length before and at 5'6" it fell perfectly mid-shin. It was comfortable and I didn't feel like I was pulling it up the entire night. I was complimented by my colleagues and by guests of the event, I've never been more confident in a dress before, I was sad to ship it back. I highly recommend this for a formal occasion. *If it helps my measurements are bust: 35.5 in - waist: 28.5 in - hips: 42 in.

Despite being strapless, the dress never moved! Even during some pretty heavy dancing. Fit and flair shape was perfect. This dress will be on my list of repeats!

Both sizes (0 and 2) I received fit fine but I was going to an event that was serving a lot of awesome food so I went with the larger size. Overall very pleased with this dress!

I'm usually a 2 but wore the size 0 because it runs a bit large on the top half. Overall I loved the dress!

I'm normally a 4, but RTR didn't have it in and I knew this was the dress I wanted to wear for my event, so I took a shot and thankfully it fit! It was a little snug in the bust (I range from 32 to 34D depending on bra type) and wouldn't recommend this size for anything bigger. The rest of the dress was perfect! Highly recommend it and will definitely be renting it again.

This dress was probably the best formal dress I've ever worn in my life. When I first saw the dress online, the material looked like it might be thick or heavy, but it was completely the opposite; it was so light and comfortable. I'm usually skeptical about wearing strapless dresses because they don't stay up on me, but this dress has rubber grips on the inside to help keep it up, and they worked! The length was perfect on me and it wasn't annoying like most long dresses can be. I rented the 2R and the 0R; both fit me really well, but i ended up wearing the 2R because it felt more comfortable and I wouldn't feel restricted after eating or while dancing. I highly recommend this dress.

This dress was very beautiful. The fabric was gorgeous. I'm actually a 32DDD and the 4 fit great, I could even wear a strapless bra with it. I went to a formal affair where you could spot Rent The Runway dresses left and right. My dress was the only one I didn't see twice! It's very unique and I got lots of compliments all night. Rented this dress for a black tie holiday event and it was so fun to wear! Definitely runs true to size and was very comfortable to wear. I loved the style because it showed off my shoes (which had amazing bows on the ankles). I was stopped several times by strangers to compliment my dress, so it's a hit! One of my favorites so far.

I am 5'4' and weigh 125 pounds. Size 6R fit true to size. The dress is gold/bronze with a black hue and black lace in the cutouts around the bottom of the dress. I bought the shoes without actually seeing the dress and they were a perfect match.

When I got the dress I was a little thrown off the colors are a bit odd but once I put it all together it looked great, it was different than everyone else's comfortable, and great length. if you have large breasts then you will have an issue with the clasp. I got compliments all night: #princess #beautiful #glamorous. Will rent again.

This is my second time using RTR and most definitely not the last. I rented this dress for Winterfest and wore it both to the crowning and the dance. Mom and I had to alter it with safety pins on the side because this dress is really wide (I think there was a little more than an extra inch of fabric when I stepped into it.). The length was perfect though, so that was nice. Also, there are grips along the top to help keep it up, which was a great touch. It's beautiful in person and catches the light very well. :)

I was in between the 4 and 6 I ordered so unfortunately it was a little big which meant I was adjusting the top often but I still loved everything about the dress

At 5'0" I feared every dress I ordered would be too long--and I was right. But this tea-length worked perfectly to give that long-dress look and feel. Plus the gold was glimmery and attracted much (good) attention and a zillion compliments. People asked where I'd found it (the party required Mardi Gras colored dress of either gold, purple or green which was a challenge). I proudly told them RTR.

I selected this dress when mine wasn't available at the last minute. Fabric and details are beautiful and I got lots of compliments. The fit wasn't the most flattering - I think the bodice was a bit short for me.

Wore this dress as a bridesmaid at my friends wedding. Excellent length and most of the complements were about the pattern, fit and shade of gold. Describing the color I would say it's slightly lighter than a chocolate gold but definitely a darker, rustic color. Anyways, Loved it! And it fit well to cover and around my bust. Sometimes it twisted around, but that's not unusual for strapless dresses.

I typically wear a 6 so I ordered the 6 and 4 as my backup. I am 5'6" and 140 lbs. the 4 fit but the 6 was most comfortable to be able to dance around in. I received many compliments and loved this dress! Was sad to send it back.

I'm a slender pear shape and this dress stayed up with no issues and provided ample room for my hips. I was initially worried because the pattern of the dress looks kinda weird up close, but it really dazzled in photos and under lights

This was technically my backup dress but we had back-to-back events so I got to wear it. There is not much support through the chest so you definitely need to wear a strapless bra. I found the top of the dress a little puckered but it wasn't noticeable once it was on. This was great for me since I am short, it hit right above my shoes.

this dress is easy to move in and has just enough sparkle for that "wow" factor! I received so many compliments throughout the evening and really enjoyed dancing in the gown. the length was perfect for a work gala, and I wore a shawl during the first half of the evening, making it more conservative. I usually dislike strapless dresses, but this one stayed up all night with no awkward "adjustments"

What a beautiful dress! It glistens and shimmers in real life even more vividly than on pictures. It also photographs remarkably well. I am 5'7" and 135lbs and normally wear sizes 4-6. I wore 4R and it fit me well but I wish I could see what 6 felt like. Pair it with black accessories to make the gold stand out and enjoy the compliments.

True to size, great fit & extremely flattering on. Only bad part was some of the boning popped out but luckily I was able to take a nail file to the sharp edge and dull it. After that, everything went great. So many compliments on this dress. As you can see the fabric glitters in pale lighting. Beautiful and classy dress.

I wore this to host a NYE party at my home. It fit perfectly and I could comfortably go without a bra. The boning did dig into my rib a bit, it seemed like it may have been bent, but it wasn't too bothersome. I got many compliments on the dress, and must admit I was surprised by how much I liked it because it's not my normal style.

By far the best dress I've ever rented and I rent a few times a month. This picture does not do justice. The design on the fabric is AMAZING!!! The tule detail on the skirt is fabulous. Loved the length but was perfect for a fall day wedding. I seriously wanted to keep it forever!!!

I wore this dress to a hospital black tie gala. The gold material looked great on. I usually wear between a 4 and a 6 and the 4 fit well. The top was tight enough that it stayed up and I wasn't pulling on it all night while I was dancing!

Very flattering and comfortable. The dress stayed in place while I was dancing. The dress I wore was missing the bottom tier of mesh on the hem, but I didn't mind. The mesh on the other size seemed a little frayed and worn out.

This dress was so beautiful and I received so many compliments on it. I was not able to get the next size up and the 4 was almost too small. I have a large bust and I had some difficulty zipping all the way. I was able to get it clasped and zipped and it was not uncomfortable to wear at all once I got all the way into it. The entire outfit ended up being exactly what I wanted and I was a little worried because sometimes ordering online doesn't translate the same in person, but this dress was even better than in pictures!

Only negative was that the wire in the bust of the dress stuck out a bit and pinched, but nothing too bad!

I only wish my shoes were as comfortable as this dress! Fit was true to size, just wear a sticky bra underneath and you're good to go. Loved this pick for the occasion!
