I wore this number to a Gatsby-themed wedding. I wore a size 0, and it felt pretty large. I didn't think it did all that much for my figure. It was on theme and looked cute with a bunch of accessories so I was happy with it (but not over the moon). One of my more lackluster RTR outfits. I didn't have any of the issues folks had with the sequins. I will say that it was SUPER comfortable. Basically wearing a sequiny sack. Another positive, most guests were in black and gold, so it was much more unique for a 1920's themed event!

The slip underneath was a little tight around my butt/hips, but the dress draped beautifully over top and you couldn't even tell. The elastic stayed at my waist the whole night, which wasn't a problem and was comfortable but it did not fit me like the model! I didn't have a problem with the sequins being itchy at all - the arm holes were just big enough that my arms didn't rub on the sequins at all. It's a beautiful and comfortable dress!

Make sure to have appropriate undergarments as the dress will show anything dark but truly wonderful. I wore it to a work holiday party and it really was perfect - compliments all night and even after. And rent the runway could not have been more amazing. A couple days before the event, they informed me that my original dress may have been damaged so shipped this and one other (in addition to my undamaged original dress). The customer support the entire time could not have been better and, in addition to now having three dresses to choose from, they also recently sent me Godiva chocolate to apologize (for me having extra dresses to choose from!). I've always been an advocate of Rent the Runway but now I'm even more so.

Fit is true to size, not super tight and very comfortable. Got tons of compliments! The only down side is the way it's cut in the middle with the elastic is not the most flattering. It doesn't look bad but could be better. Love the glittery appearance and all night wearability. Wore with nude strappy heels.

This dress was a back-up to the one I originally ordered when that was returned damaged. It was two days before New Years Eve and this was what was left. But when I got it, I loved it! The color is so pretty, rose gold is hot right now and it really stood out at the show. Everyone was in black and yellow-gold so this little number popped. It's very delicate, it's really just a sequined lace overlay on top of a nude slip. I was able to wear a strapless bra with it and at first it was a bit itchy under the arms, but after an hour or so I was used to it. Loved it, definitely need a tan with it as I could see how it would wash someone out. Great back-up dress that trumped my first one!

The dress and detail was gorgeous. I wore it for a Gatsby themed NYE party and it worked perfectly. While the dress part runs a little big, the slip underneath was a bit tight in the bust, causing me to wear the larger size for comfort. Also the dress and slip are very see-through so wore another under. Overall a great selection for my party!

Dress was great, it was a rush rental after my first choice didn't fit. I originally wanted the same dress in gold but wasn't available in my size so I went with this one. Glad I did, great color, light weight and liked it better than the gold! I didn't experience any irritation under the arms as other renters mentioned. It ran a little big though, I wore the 4. I ordered the next size up for back up but probably could have gone down a size. The dress bloused over a little more at the waist than I would have liked and I think the 2 would have fit a little better. Many compliments and overall a great rental!

The fit was fine; however, I did have to adjust the underlay throughout the night in order to achieve the look I wanted.

It was very scratchy and I noticed afterwards that I had cuts all over from the sequins. It was also a little itchy because of this. The slip is also see through - if I would have known these things before hand I might not have rented it.

This dress fit perfectly! It was sparkly enough for a wedding but not overpowering. The dress comes with a blush colored slip to wear underneath and you will need nude color undergarments. I'm glad that I purchased this dress so that I can wear it again! It would be great for a New Year's party as well.

Absolutely loved this dress for a friend's wedding. It felt so glamorous, and yet was comfortable all night long for dancing. I received so many compliments! The "shell" of the dress definitely runs large, and the slip runs small. I ordered a 4 and 6 and wore the size 4 shell with size 6 slip, and it was perfect. I'm usually a size 4 in dresses and size 26/27 in jeans. Would love to rent this again!

I wore this for a wedding. I was in the wedding party and we all were asked to wear gold/rose gold sequined dresses. This dress did not disappoint. It was absolutely adorable. I received so many compliments on it and it fit perfectly. It is two pieces, the top overlay is nearly sheer except for the sequins. The underlay is a very light blush silk. I would recommend wearing only nude undergarments because, while not noticeable with the nude undergarments, the dress is kind of sheer. Also, there was some scratching underneath my arms although not enough that I would've chosen a different dress. This was my first rental and I am thrilled with the results.

The liner was a bit snug, so I would order up so that this fits right. But the sequence over lay is beautiful and flatters any body shape!

I rented this dress for my wedding reception. We eloped then had a reception a few weeks later for our friends and family. I wanted something that would make me stand out since it was still kind of "my day" and this dress was the perfect choice. It was the right amount of flashy yet comfortable, and wasn't too formal for our outdoor reception. It's a lot of sequins, but they're in a design on a sheer layer, so it was still very breathable and flexible. I don't understand why the pink slip for underneath comes separate, but you DEFINITELY have to wear it (or something!) underneath. The slip they sent me fit just fine, I believe it was a size 2 slip and I ended up wearing the size 0 dress and everything fit together nicely. I got tons of compliments, so I would definitely recommend this dress!

I typically don't like the way I look in dresses, but this one ended up being incredibly flattering and comfortable. I wore this to a NYE 20's party and it was the perfect dress. It hid my mid-section well, which is always an issue for me, and it was incredibly comfortable. The sequins did not chaff or get caught on things as you would think. I highly recommend! I wore this for my 1920's bridal shower. I wore my own slip underneath. I received compliments all day, and it matched the theme beautifully!

I always seem to wear a size 6 but I tend to order 6 and 8 just in case...in the case of this dress, I ended up wearing the 6 dress with the 8 slip (they are not sewn together). It just felt more comfortable as the 6 slip was on the tight side around my quads. It still looked fine under the size 6 dress, no weird bagginess or anything. Loved the dress and felt very comfortable in it.

It definitely runs short! I was so glad I ordered a size up.

I'm between a 4 and 6 and the 4 fit great; I have bigger hips and it didn't hang as loose as it does on the model, but I actually thought it gave it more shape. Rented this for a bridesmaids dress in a wedding; we all wore neutral tones and it fit in perfectly. Wasn't too sparkly at all, was just the right amount for an evening wedding. Dress wasn't too heavy or hot, easy to dance in. A great value, felt awesome in the dress.

Once again a fabulous experience! I probably could've gone with the smaller size, but the reviews made me nervous because they talked about how short the dress was. It ended up being fine and was not too short at all. Perfect for my Gatsby event! Comfortable, cute and loved the rose gold color! So lovely!

This dress felt really short but the slip underneath helped ease that anxiety. I have a large booty so that area was a little tight but the dress fit perfectly. Wasn't hugging the wrong parts. Just enough sequins that it wasn't overboard. Would rent this again!!

The fit was perfect. I'm always self conscious about my arms and I loved how this one covered by arms. I also like how it is a little loose but avoids making me look bigger. This was my first RTR experience. I rented this for a cocktail party at an annual company awards banquet. It was unique and I received compliments galore. Not only was it beautiful, but it was comfortable. I am 5'-2", 112lbs, average proportions and the size 2 worked great. I also ordered the 4 as a backup size and it was very similar in fit, but ultimately went with the 2 since it was a looser style. Highly recommend!!

I rented this for a Gatsby party and it was perfect. I rented it with the Dress Me Up Necklace - RJ Raziano for an added speakeasy flair. Dress hung nicely and wasn't scratchy as some sequined dresses are.

This dress was true to size, although the shell for the size 12 (from my backup size) was a better fit than the size 10 shell, so I wore the size 12 shell with the size 10 dress. I saw other reviews about this dress being scratchy and it wasn't at all! I would say that the photo online looks gold and cream; however, it's actually rose gold and VERY light pink. I wore nude heals with it and rose gold earrings...PERFECT!
