I really like the fit of this dress. It was so pretty. Lots of compliments!

I was notified that the dress would arrive without the slip but was easily able to improvise with a tight black slip underneath. I loved the dress, simple yet detailed and beautiful design. Had some stretch. Would rent again!

I usually wear a size 6, but know dresses can sometimes run small so also ordered an 8. The 6 fit great- The lace portion is separate from the black slip portion so make sure they are connected buttoned together at the top.

Fit true to size!! But love having the option of another size just in case!!

I was torn between the 4 and 6 and ordered both. The 6 was way too big but the slip in the 4 was too small. So I swapped out the slips and it was perfect! Super comfy and sparkly.

This dress was stunning! Fits great and runs very true to size. The top is mesh with a gorgeous sequined design and lays over a shorter, tight black dress underneath. The black dress underneath is a separate dress completely from the top piece, which allows it to fit your body comfortably and not awkward like so many dresses that are similar. The sequined design is funky, unique and sexy. Would rent again!

The drop waist made this dress very easy to adjust to just the right length.

I normally wear a size 6 or 8, but chose the 10 (could only get one size as this was my 2nd style) - knowing that in the past, the dresses I've rented "ran small". It fit well - a bit baggy, but very comfortable to wear. Didn't need spanx or a special bra which made it even better.

I loved wearing this dress to two cocktail parties in one weekend! It has two pieces: the black slip and the lace/sequins part over it. It actually was not as snug as I usually like, but I am glad I went with the 4. I was comfortable. I got so many compliments for my second RTR order! I didn't want to return it. Can't wait for my next!

The arm area was not as loose as I had expected, but in general it fit just right! It was definitely true to size. I have worn other sequined clothing before and it has irritated me, but this was very comfortable.

The dress was perfect for my event! I got a few compliments from random folks and I felt great in it. It was a bit more sparkly than I expected but in the dimly lit venue it worked great.

This was my first rental and it worked out great! I wore it for a 20s/Great Gatsby themed bachelorette party. I got a ton of compliments on the dress. I'm normally a size 8, but that wasn't available for this particular weekend. I read reviews from the other renters and everyone was correct in saying the dress ran a little big. The size 6 fit me perfectly! I'd say the only con was that it clearly had been worn before, just a few of the sequence were falling off...but I think I was the only one who noticed that!

The dress fit very nicely throughout the bust/waist - but it was a bit tight in the butt. However, my butt is kinda big - so this is not a surprise. So much fun! It really made the night special.

Not especially flattering but very cute. I didn't feel I looked like I was "trying too hard". The loose style of the dress made it a little casual but the sparkle gave it a wow factor. I fit into the 2 but wore the 4 knowing the style was a bit baggy. I was very comfortable with the length. I wouldn't rent it again but would recommend it.

The Fox Trot dress is great for your upcoming holiday parties! I would recommend sizing down for your back up dress, as the fit can be a bit boxy, and the drop waist might not give you the best shape. The slip is included and this style does work well with all body types!

I wore this dress for a Gatsby themed party. I probably should have ordered a size larger, but it was not available. The slip was way too tight and had no give. Luckily I had my own black slip. I'm pretty narrow in the hips and I felt like this dress was really tight which is never an issue. I also felt the dress was a little short. I think I expected this dress to be more roomy due to it's cut. Was probably because I should have gotten a larger side. It's a beautiful dress, fun and flirty. Even for being tight, it was still pretty comfortable. I would go a size up if you're on the fence.

This dress was perfect for my friends 30th birthday/ NYE party which was Gatsby themed! It totally fits the 1920's flapper style but if you're looking for a sexy or flattering dress this is not it. I did get tons of compliments on it but I didn't feel like it really showed off my curves. More like I looked a little boxy. Overall, I liked the dress for the particular occasion but I wouldn't wear it for anything else.

The dress is really pretty and the detailing is gorgeous. The fit was so so. The slip underneath seemed unusually tight compared to the overlay, so it was a bit uncomfortable at times. I ended up ordering a 2 and a 4 and went with the 4 just because of the slip. This wasn't my favorite dress from RTR but it suited my needs perfectly for the party.

I searched for months for a great 20s-style dress for the Gatsby themed CARE Ball. Everything was either a chintzy costume of a $300+ beaded gown. I finally found this little frock on RTR and it did the trick! It was comfortable and easy to wear. The dress is two pieces: a black linen tank dress and a sequined lace over-lay. The waist is elasticized, so I pulled it down to my hips to get that drop-waist silhouette that was popular in the 20s. This dress wasn't a show-stopper, but I got a few compliments. It was a good compromise between a cheap flapper costume and a costly Sue Wong gown.

I rented this dress for a roaring 20's themed formal event; wanted to have some sparkle without feeling like I was going to the prom or a New Year’s Party. This dress was sophisticated and I liked the black on black look. It was a little short for my liking, I am curvy so I could have probably done the 8 for added length but it was unavailable. I'm short, so if you're taller I would definitely size up. The dress comes in two parts and the underlay piece is pretty basic cotton layer that has no stretch at all. I paired this dress with black heels and art deco jewelry. Not my favorite rental ever but for what it was needed for and the price, it was great!

I sized up to an 8, because I have a little extra space being taken up in the stomach area due to the growing nugget in my belly. Overall, the dress wasn't bad - just not my favorite rental. The size and everything was ok, quality was ok. A bit short for my taste, but I made it work.

The dress was gorgeous! It was perfect for my 30th, roaring 20s party! I thought it ran true to size, but for this dress I actually liked it being a bit looser (more drop waist feel). The dress has two separate layers, the "slip" and the cover. The slip had zero give, so I actually wore my own slip.

I am usually a size 10 . I'm 5'7 and 168 lbs . I wore the size 8 in this dress but honestly I think the size 6 would have fit me perfectly..

This dress was amazing. More comfortable than I expected, very flattering, pictures don't do it justice. The only issue I had was the middle isn't elastic so it was difficult to maintain the bloused effect that the model has. But it was gorgeous nonetheless and I hope to buy it when RTR cycles it out of inventory!

This dress is true to size. There wasn't a flaw on it which surprised me bc it has so many details and has a thin putter layer. It's comfortable fit was perfect for the day/night of wedding fun.

This was a great dress for a "Great Gatsby" themed auction that I wanted to participate in the theme but still be on trend style-wise. I dressed it up with big pearls and a headband. I got tons of compliments throughout the night and the dress was really comfortable.

After reading the other reviews, I knew I had to have this dress. I ordered the 8, but ended up wearing the 6. The slip and the dress fit so well. This was a perfect LBD with some pizzazz for our annual CrossFit "prom." It is dressy enough to where you need very little accessories. The dress is comfortable, fits well but not to snug. I danced for a few hours and it never moved out of place.

I wore the 8 as the 6 was a little tight and short on me. This dress was perfect for a wedding, The ceremony was outside and in the sun the dress is a little see thru. It was very flattering and just the right amount of sexy and classy. the top was a little tight but I do have a larger bust.

I wore this dress for my high school graduation and I absolutely loved it! I had to wear a black dress and I stressed about still looking cute so this dress was perfect! It was a little long for me, but the slip underneath wasn't long so it was good. I ordered the 2 & 4 and I didn't even try on the 4 because the 2 fit so well. I am definitely renting off of RTR again.

The dress was beautiful. Runs a little big but I used a belt to cinch the waist as the waist band was not tight enough. Overall very comfortable and would rent this again:)

I really loved this dress and got a lot of compliments all night. It was longer than I usually wear in length, but it worked well for the event. The slip underneath fit great in the 6, but I wish I'd had a 4 to wear for the overlay as that layer was quite a bit bigger than necessary. I made it work, and was still happy I rented it!

I loved this dress it was super comfortable and easy to move around in. Not too short and left some room to breathe.

Fit well and was really comfortable. Only con: The elastic at the waistline kept sliding down when I was on the dance floor! Not a deal breaker, but definitely annoying!
