I rented this dress for the rehearsal dinner at a wedding I was in. After the dinner there was a welcome party for out of town guests and this dress was comfortable for the whole night. I rented the 4 and 6, but ended up wearing the 6. The 8 probably would have been an even better fit, but the 6 worked. The band in the middle does not stretch and at times was tight around my ribs. I'd recommend sizing up for your backup. The skirt is pretty tight in the rear as well. Overall I really liked this dress!

The black skirt and the little detailing at the waist help extenuate the hourglass figure while being super fun on top. I wore this with no spanx and was completely comfortable (doesn't happen very often ;)) The only problem for me was that my bust did not fit in the top too easily. I would say if you have a fuller bust to size up.

I am normally a size 2, but I ordered a Size 2 and a Size 4 for this rental because it is a form-fitting dress. The Size 2 ended up fitting me perfectly and was definitely great for my formal affair. I'll be using renttherunway.com again for some upcoming events.

I loved the way this dress looked on and in pictures. The one thing you should be aware of is the waist is tight. I would definitely want to rent this dress again!

I'm 5'7", 140lbs and wore the size 6. This dress fit like a glove and hugged all the right places. The waist band has no stretch, so if your problem area is the mid section I'd recommend sizing up or wearing Spanx. I paired the dress with violet pumps for some pop with matching nails. This look came together so nicely and I can't wait for my next RTR experience.

This dress worked perfectly for the wedding I went to. I am 5'2" so the dress was a bit longer on me than on the model in the picture but it looked great.

It runs very small and in my regular size i couldn't even get it over my thighs. But it was the cutest dress for a part. I wish it had fit

Fit true to size. I especially liked this dress because of the shirt/skirt appearance. I usually hesitate with these kinds of dresses, but the split between shirt/ skirt hit at the right spot. Loved the sparkles and the length.

I'm glad I got a backup size up since the 6 was tight. The dress has a non-stretchy band under the sequins so that was still snug even in the 8. I ended up using hem tape to shorten it since, unaltered, the length would have worked for church and definitely not the Miami club scene.

Simple tailored dress -- not overly fancy but simple & elegant. Dress fell about 3 inches above the knee so not too short or long.

This was my backup dress so I didn't end up wearing it, but I definitely want to rent it sometime in the future! It's cute and comfortable. The only thing I was surprised about is that the gold on the right side is a lot more gold than it looks in the pictures.

I wore this to a bachelorette party. It is a nice little party dress and the amount of sequins is just right. They didn't scratch my skin. I liked that I could wear a regular bra, and the length of the skirt was perfect (hit me about 3 inches above the knee). Although I am thin, I have an hourglass figure, and I found that the skirt of the dress was a little too snug on the size 2, although the top fit me well. I did get pull lines from the skirt being too tight. I tried on the size 4 and the skirt fit better, but the top was too loose, and I am a D-cup. So fit-wise I think that ladies with larger breasts and smaller hips would look amazing in this. I ended up wearing the 2 and it was fine and a great time was had. Overall I liked the experience, but I would say that girls with narrow hips might enjoy it even more!

I wore this dress to a wedding this past weekend & I thought it was incredibly flattering and perfect for the event. Just to note: it was a little big in the bust & a tighter around the waist than I expected, but I would still say it fit well.

Too long, too big, too bad. It was a decent looking dress but just didn't fit at all. If you're under 5'3 or are smaller chested I would suggest not renting for it falls way to long and is very baggy up top. Would look adorable on someone taller however.

I chose not to wear this dress for two reasons. The first was that it photographs well but, in person, the top was a little lackluster. Second, the fit of the waist is tight. Since I knew I was going to be eating well and dancing, I didn't want to be uncomfortable.

My body type is very straight and narrow so this dress did not fit correctly . Baggy on top and too tight around the waist. But RTR is amazing with costumer service and exchanged it for a new dress with no problem! Thanks RTR!

I loved this dress in the photos, but the fit was all wrong. I'd read some reviews of other people with similar body types who said it worked. The dress technically fit - it zipped closed - but the top was really baggy, and I NEVER have that problem with my chest size. It looks good on others in the photos, so perhaps it's just not meant for my body type.

This dress was too tight in the waist and I had to send it back for a credit. The sequined top was very pretty, but then it pulls in with a very tight band at the waist, causing any love handles to look exaggerated. The bottom doesn't look it in the picture, but it's actually a jersey material, which isn't super forgiving. I rented the 4 and the 6, which I always have luck with, but both were too small. Even if I had gone up another size, it would have had the same effect created by the waist band. Too bad as I really wanted to love it.

I love this dress. It runs tighter around the hips and larger on top. The size 4 fit me. The size 6 was was very baggy on top and I would not have been able to wear this size.
