The length was just long enough with flats, and the neckline didn't seem to lie like it does in the photo but I was very pleased with the dress overall. The color stood out among other dresses and the material was perfect for an outdoor summer event.

Dress was a perfect fit! The color was bright enough to pop and catch your eye, but it was classy enough to wear to a formal event. It was sleveless so it showed a nice amount of skin, but the strapping removed any worry about the dress falling down. The fabric was silky and flowy, but the cut would make it flattering on any body style. LOVED this dress! Would fit in with a very formal crowd but also would work for a less formal event.

The dress was a bit snug but that's b/c I had to order a size smaller since they were out of my size. But it still looked fabulous. I got a lot of compliments and one person even thought I was a member of the bridal party. Highly recommend this dress. Color and fabric are gorgeous. And RTR are so accommodating and helpful. I will use there service for any event I have from now on. Why but when you can get designer every time?.

I felt like an absolute movie star in this dress. The blue is a bit more vivid than the model photo shown on the website - a bit more teal than powder blue. Dress is also very long, I am 5'6" and in the size 4 I had to wear my tallest heels to make sure I didn't walk on the hem. You cannot imagine the amount of compliments I got - I wanted to keep the dress and wear it again to every formal function.

Color was beautiful, a little bit brighter than the picture I thought. I wore straps down across chest because I liked the thin straps look better. I should of listened to all the other reviews that said it was too long though, I still got the 6L and it was still long with 5 inch wedges and I am 5'8 (and soon into the night I was already in flats) So I had to hold the dress up a lot while walking.

Everyone was very impressed by my selection keeping bright while the season was changing. It's hot in Texas all year round. I went a size smaller as my waist is long and lean and this dress hit it perfectly.

This dress was perfect for a formal wedding- it looked great and was comfortable for dancing all night. The length was just right for a pair of 4-inch heels- when I switched to flats for comfort later in the night, it was a little long. The only con- I couldn't get the back button by myself! I needed a friend's assistance both for buttoning and unbuttoning the top.

This was true to size and a snug but comfortable fit; loved the flow of the dress, and the neck straps can be worn in too styles: over the shoulders or across the bust...

First RTR experience! This was a beautiful dress. The color is so beautiful. It looks more pastel green online but I think it's more of a teal blue in person. The long was the perfect length for my height although it is short in some parts and long in others which doesn't really show in the pictures either. Because I'm long waisted the band for the middle came up a little high. Otherwise, it was a beautiful dress and I got tons of compliments.

This dress fits true to size. Actually tried in on in the NYC showroom and was told that this dress doesn't fit everyone the same way so definitely watch out for your measurements and order accordingly. It was the perfect dress for a fabulous dinner on our honeymoon!

I am usually a size 10, but I have a large bust and the 10 was very tight around my ribs and chest (it fit but was uncomfortable). I am 5'9" and I wore 4 inch heels and the 12 regular was a good length (my shoes showed just a little). I wore the thicker shoulder straps under my arms. I really liked this dress. I was a little nervous about the cut of the top of the dress with my large bust, but I think I looked good in it.

The dress fit well and was not too long for my average stature (although I did wear three inch heels with it). The color is beautiful! I received many compliments on it all evening long. Also the cut accentuates the waist and the skirt flows and is very forgiving, not constricting at all. While I did not require additional hemming, it was quite long, which made it a bit difficult to easily go up and down stairs without lifting the skirt. Otherwise, I had a fabulous time in it.

The fit was true to size - I normally wear a 0. I'm 5'3 and the regular was perfect with about 4 inch heels with a .075 inch platform. The dress drapes beautifully and the color is so rich. My favorite part was walking in it - the skirt just kind of flows all around you as you walk and it made me feel so beautiful :) Highly recommended dress!!!

I ordered a size 8R it was a tad tight around the waist line. But overall the fit and length were perfect. As many of the reviews said the color is much more vibrant than the picture....which made the dress even more beautiful! I love that the dress had the versatility with the neckline. I chose to wear the thicker straps down. But the other options looked great as well!

The waist is fitted and true to size. The top and bottom have more flow to them. You can also wear the straps two different ways for 2 great and different looks

This dress is so much prettier than even the picture shows. It flows so beautifully and is perfect for a hot Texas night. I wore the regular and it worked great with two inch heels and the irregular hem could be shown off. The chest was a little big, so I had to use fashion tape, but it all worked out. I received so many compliments in this dress and everyone loved the color. I highly recommend it!

This was a very, very last minute rental as the gown I owned and planned to wear had a wardrobe malfunction during a try one. I was extremely limited on what was still available in my size and price range being that I was renting two days before my event. This gown was GORG!!! It was perfect. I rented the 6 and the 8. As others mentioned the satin band is wickedly tight and does not give, I had to wear the 8. I am small on top and the 8 was quite blousy, I had to wear the dress "flaps" down. It helps cover the largeness of it. I am 5'6" and wore 3" heels and the dress just flowed nicely. Color is a lot deeper in person. My monitor shows it as a muted robins egg blue, it is much more Tiffany bright blue leaning towards turquoise. Adored the gown, especially for a last minute choice!

The color is a little more vibrant than pictured, but I liked it better. I am 5'9'' and about 145, and the 4 and 6 both fit pretty similarly, but I went with a 6 because I was using it for a quick change and the zipper took a little but of pulling on the 4. I also got it in a long, but in the front it still didn't touch the ground in flats because the bottom has a somewhat zigzag cut. I really liked it though, was my first rental and I'm happy with the process! Was quick and fairly easy. :)

All reports are correct about the color- is more green than the blue shown but still a lovely color. Would not have picked it off a rack but when I tried it on, it was lovely in color, fabric and style. I am relatively tall and even with 3+ inch heals, the dress was still plenty long. Would not recommend this style for those with tummy issues as the ribbon around the middle is tight as other have reported. The fabric moves as lovely as appears in the model's photo. It took until this morning (the day after the event) for me to notice that I didn't wear the shoulder straps like the model but looks like most others did the same thing. It must work well both ways. I rented the Viridian Collage Drop earrings which went well with the dress however I didn't realize that they were clip ons. By the end of the night, my lobes were definitely feeling the pinch! Would use my own next time unless using for a shorter period like a photo session. Felt beautiful in this dress and received lots of compliments all night long! This was my first experience using Rent the Runway. Highly recommend the quality of the products and service. Very pleased with my transaction. They have solved the eternal complaint of "I have nothing to wear", how to save money on a dress one may wear only once and making the whole process fast and easy. I find other's comments and pictures very helpful. Bravo RTR!

Fit: runs very large in the bust so had to go down to a size 6 Color: absolutely stunning, perfect sea foam, got so many compliments! Overall: a show-stopper of a dress! I wore it to a wedding in San Diego and received so many compliments! It was also incredibly comfortable both on and off the dance floor!

This dress is beautiful! I read the other reviews and ordered in a size 8R (my normal size) and a 10R (a larger size). I agree with other reviewers that it is a little tight around the midsection. I ended up wearing the 10R and it fit great. I received so many compliments on the dress.

Wow what an amazing dress! I wore this for a beach wedding and I'm quite sure I got more compliments than the bride! It was VERY comfortable the the flowing skirt was so much fun! RTR saves the day again.

It was a challenge for me to go up stairs because the dress was so long and flowy that it would get caught in my shoes and I kept stepping on it. And note that the bottom half of the skirt is sheer. But I had a great time feeling so confident in this beautiful dress!

Loved this dress and received many compliments throughout the evening. The length was a little long (I'm 5'2) but I made it work by folding under the mid section. Suggested earrings and silver clutch went perfectly.

I absolutely loved this dress and would rent it again in a heartbeat. It fit perfectly and I felt beautiful in it. I got tons of compliments all night long. The color is even more beautiful in person. I got a spray tan so the color popped even more. I had actually ordered two different dresses that came the day before and neither of them fit nor looked good on me and Rent the Runway overnighted this dress to me and it was a blessing in disguise because this was the dress that I was meant to wear!

The dress was a little long on me, but was fine once I put heels on. It's a deeper color than in the picture, but it was still really pretty. There is definitely room in the bust area to accommodate ahem several different sizes and it is cool that there are two ways to wear it. I didn't want to send it back!

I wore this dress for my wedding reception. the color was darker than expected, but it matched my bridesmaid dresses perfectly! It was very comfortable. I wore it with a pair of ballerina flats that had aurora borealis crystal accents, gold dangle earrings and a gold wire cuff that had a larger aurora accent on it. I loved dancing in it. It was lightweight, fun, and made me feel like a princess the entire night. The only draw back was that the threading for the hook was missing, but I used a safety pin to fix it. I never wear halter bc of my large chest HOWEVER I wore the thick straps that go around your neck down so that added a layer over the bust and hid my strapless bra perfectly. The 2 and the 4 were almost the same but ultimately decided to go with the 4 so that the pleats laid a little better. looked great all night and I didn't have to mess with it or wear any crazy spanx or anything. Wore 3in heels and it was great length.

I absolutely loved this dress! Although it is a much more intense teal, it is still a magnificent color. I loved how flowy the dress was and I received compliments on it all night long! The fit was perfect, although a little long it was nothing heels couldn't fix! I felt like a sea goddess, and the night was incredible! I highly recommend this dress! This dress is a must have! I received so many compliments! The color is less light blue a little more of a teal/aqua color. The fit was great. I didn't wear it the way in the picture because it felt a little funky so I left the flaps down. The dress is a little shorter in the front and longer on the sides/back so has a tiny bit of a train. This dress can be worn with the straps over the shoulders or across the chest. I tried it both ways and the vote was that the straps looked better across the chest. The clasp didn't want to stay closed, so I did safety-pin it from the inside to keep it together and it wasn't noticable. The tag also wanted to flop out, but fashion tape easily took care of that. The dress is brighter in person than the picture on the model, but I was pleastantly surprised by that and really loved the turquoise color. I got so many compiments on the dress and really had a hard time sending it back. The skirt was so flowy and fun to dance in. I think I have a fairly normal-proportioned body, soI wouldn't recommend this for someone with a short torso so that there isn't extra fabric above the waist.

Beautiful jade green dress that I rented for a hot summer wedding. It didn't breathe very well and I was hot under the bust. Both straps broke by the end of the night and I managed to wear the dress using just the material versus the small straps. It can be worn both ways if you'd like. Flowing and ethereal, received many compliments.

The dress is fitted at the waist without much stretch but the design and color are really gorgeous. I wore this for a summer wedding and got a lot of compliments. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the pleats were not as prominent as I had hoped, possibly from multiple wears/cleanings. Overall a beautiful dress that makes a great impression.

Great dress. But the other reviewers aren't kidding. If you are a little bigger around the waist I would not rent this. There is no give in the waist. The dress is also ridiculously long. Normally I always get a long size, but this one was dragging even with 3 inch heels (I'm 5'7"). I would suggest going with a regular unless you are super tall. This dress would have been even better if it was available in knee length. Overall I was pretty satisfied.

Very 1940s. Moved well, fit perfectly. Waist fit just right. Had to wear with moveable straps in front because the cut made it appear like I had nipples. But still beautiful. Good for a big chest. I'm a 34c and wished I was a bit bigger.

I rented the regular length and I had to wear 3 inch heels with it. The bottom half was so nice and flowy. I wore it to dinner in Hawaii on our honeymoon and it was nice and light for the weather. We had such a hard time with the zipper though. It seemed to catch on the fabric very easily and took me a good 15 minutes to fix it.

The straps don't fit like they show on the model because they pull up the back in a strange way. It actually works out best to wear them down. The dress is super comfortable and the fabric flows wonderfully. The picture also doesn't show that there is actually a shorter dress (about to the knee) underneath a transparent long layer. Good thing to think about when choosing your shoes. They will be seen! Perfect first time RTR experience!
