Usually a size 4 and this fit perfectly!!! Comfortable to sit in and it has POCKETS!

Loved this dress for the cut and color, it was also surprisingly comfortable and lightweight. It hit the top of my feet on me with 4” heels (i’m 5’4.5”) and I think it runs a little large width-wise. I would size down if you want the top portion snug. Mine was loose but still looked good and stayed up ok.

so in love with this dress! fit was perfect and boning really helped keep the girls in place (if you know you know). it did have some underwire sticking out under each armpit which was a bit uncomfortable, so hopefully rtr can fix that on the dress I rented.

Girls — you need to rent this dress. It’s even more stunning in person, and made me feel like a proper princess for a black tie wedding in Scotland. Its a little tight in the chest, but as a result snatches you and really just looked incredible all night long. One of my all time favorite rentals!

I received many compliments with this dress! Definitely worth it! I have a short torso, but with some adjustments, the dress eventually fitted well. I opted to use the size8 because I’m really between a size 6 and a size 8 and I felt more comfortable with a little loose, relaxed fit than a tight fitted one. The size 8 has a much wider bust area for me though, but, a good padded bra fixed the problem. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience!

All my Princess Diaries dreams came true with this dress. I have a 32DD chest, longer torso, hourglass hips, am 5’7”, and this dress couldn’t have been tailored better to my overall shape. Does run small! I’m a 4-6, but the 8R was the right choice. There are silicon gripper strips up top that keep the top half of the bust from sliding. Works well with a normal strapless bra. Does bunch slightly around the midsection, but there is boning to help keep the shape. Full skirt, not too long, and with the right size, I didn’t feel too uncomfortable even after eating my weight in holiday food, though things definitely felt tight. And I didn’t need shapewear?! There was some weird vooodo magic going on. I was slimmed without feeling restricted, even with a mom pooch. There are a few RTR dresses I’ve worn that have garnered constant compliments from other party attendees. This dress was no exception.

I wore this to an industry gala where I was presenting an award. I loved this dress and got compliments all evening on how it looked. I also love that it has pockets! It was so nice to be able to carry some stuff without a purse. I'm glad I read the other reviews on sizing. I'm usually a size 6 or 4 depending on the brand. I got both a 6 and an 8. I could fit in the size 6, but it wasn't very comfortable. With the size 8, I felt that I could breathe and eat. So, I would recommend going up from your usual size. Also, it's difficult to see in pictures, but the dress is an overall subtle floral pattern that actually looks even better in person than in photos. Really stunning!

Compliments from so people on the way to the wedding and perfect for black tie optional. The boning on the side of the dress was a little wonky when I got it, but I bent it back into place enough to wear it. I went with the 4, but wonder if the 6 might have fit a little better because it looked a little bunchy in the pictures. For tall girls, will not be floor length, but that was fine! The second picture shows that the length was about ankle length with 3 inch heels — perfect I think and made it very easy to walk in. Does get wrinkly…. I had ironed it just before the wedding!

I wore this dress to a formal gala fundraiser. The dress was unique since it was green and I got lots of compliments. I didn’t realize from the pictures, but there are green four leaf clovers I believe on the dress. I originally thought they were stars from the picture. It’s subtle and I loved the dress! Pockets were also perfect!

I had to attend a formal wedding and this dress got almost more attention than the bride’s! I fit in both the 4 and the 6, but the 6 was less constricting in the bodice so I went with that. A few helpful notes… I’m barely 5’4” and did need some significant heels and even some platform to the shoe so that the dress did not drag. I couldn’t decide between black or gold shoes. I ended up with black sparkly shoes and my clutch was also black sparkly beads. Pockets are always awesome but I only used it to keep my phone close by for spontaneous pics. For jewelry I chose a gold and crystal simple chain that looked like a cascading vine with matching earrings. Also, I’m super small chested but the bodice was tight enough that it stayed up. I wore a strapless padded bra. I also appreciated that the bodice did not allow for any under arm bulge to hang over it. I echo what another reviewer said about difficulty zipping it. For some reason the zipper is temperamental. I truly felt like a princess and this was a positive experience from beginning to end.

Surprisingly light dress with a lot of form. It stayed up and zipped up all night, just add some sticky boobs. It’s also not too long- at 5’6 you could see my heels/no issues dancing. Really gorgeous dress.

I received nonstop compliments on this gorgeous dress. I opted for the size 4 because the line was much cleaner in the torso. The size 6 seemed to have some issues with the boning in the bodice and it looked...lumpy? It may have just been that one particular dress. I adored this and danced the bight away on a 90 degree night. Pockets are a bonus!

I am 5’3, 135-140lbs, pear shaped. The size 4 fit me perfectly. It’s tight around the midsection but starts to flare just under the belly button so you don’t feel squished when you sit. I also wasn’t having to pull up the strapless top all night. I was able to have fun and dance and got lots of compliments! Love.

I have terrible posture in my image due to the hat taking up space for me to stand up but overall I loved the dress! It was great for dancing throughout the night, and for the fashion moment I was looking for. It was a great look even for me even coming in at 5'3 (+ 4 inch heels), so no drag at all!

This one was probably on me, I waited to long to reserve the dress and they didn't have a 2. I am usually between a 2 and a 4 so I figured it would be fine, but it was definitely too loose on me. Other than that so pretty!

Girls, it's gorgeous. And I felt great in it. But I thought I was going crazy trying on both my sizes. All the reviews said True to Size or maybeee a bit too big, but it took 3 women nearly 30 minutes to get me into a size larger than I ever wear. Thank god i sized up for my backup. My friends emphatically blamed the quality of the zipper and that it wasn't even that tight, but when you're lying face down on the hotel room floor while your friends grunt and sweat to zip you up, you can't help but think, "Am I an entirely different size than I've always been? All the other girlies said this was true to size!" Had a great time at the wedding though, lots of compliments, psychological torture aside.

I would recommend to size down to get a snatched waist but be careful if you have big boobs. It’s a little short but worked for what I needed

This dress was gorgeous and fun. The waist fit well and hips are roomy from the design. Unfortunately I couldn't get the top to zip around my bust.

First of all the dress runs small, it was very tight in the bust and mid section. I should have gotten a 4. The fabric was not great, it clung to my legs and was actually quite itchy. All around it felt poorly made for a dress of this quality. However, the color is stunning and received many compliments. It was a great dress for a black tie, late summer wedding.

The dresses itself is beautiful. But the fact that the dress did not fit and you could tell the corset material was popped out was extremely frustrating. I’m pretty sure somebody that was larger than a size 2 squeezed themselves in that dress that made it not able for me to fit. Rent the runway wasn’t able to send me my backup dress so I had to make do with a dress that was too large for me. I had to put on four bras to make sure the dress stayed up. I will say size down if you are interested.

I did not end up wearing this because I preferred a backup option, but this dress is gorgeous for a black tie wedding. Super comfortable although as some have noted the boning on the sides seemed a little bent. I don’t think it would’ve been an issue. Would rent again for another event.

I’m a 10/12 and the 10 was tight but I made it work. Really, it just pushed up the girls and was quite sexy. I was going to dinner though and needed to dress it down so I wore with a denim jacket.

I felt like a million bucks in this dress. I got more "you look beautiful" comments than I have in my life. I got the 8R and 6R as my backup and although the 6R fit, it was SNUG. I actually accidentally wore it for the first half of the wedding and no one noticed a thing but I was so constrained so I went up to my room and changed into the 8R and danced the night away. I am a D/DD chest so I usually opt out of strapless but I felt secure the whole night. The dress was a good length on me, right above hitting the ground but didn't show too much of my heels (2-3 inch heels).

Really beautiful, unique dress. Looked very classic, very Grace Kelly. I have no boobs at all and the 0R fit perfect, didn't fall, super comfortable. And pockets!!!
