My company has a prom night themed holiday party, and I wanted to find something of similar color to what I wore to my prom ages ago. This as such a beautiful option…so many compliments, and I felt good in it!

This dress was spectacular. It fit perfectly and hugged my hips, and the length was great. I received so many compliments throughout the evening, which is always nice. With the one-shoulder, there was no tugging or rearranging myself, even when we were dancing. The only downside is that it doesn't breathe well, so I was quite warm in the ballroom.

Top was very snug so wore without a bra. Length was perfect! I wore 2.5” heels and switched to lower heels for dancing. Dress had a lot of wrinkles which I tried to steam out, more or less successfully. Would rent again.

5’5”, 135 lbs, hourglass / athletic figure, usually size 8 & ordered / wore size 8, & fit was perfect. Came just barely above ankles.

So many compliments and the dress fit perfectly! I’m about 5’ 5” and it hit just at the top of my feet so kitten heels were the perfect option! I ended up wearing the 12 just because it gave me a little more room to sit in and the 10 at the chest was a little tight on me with a bra on. But the 12 chest was a little big and there was a little gap in the arm pit but you couldn’t see my bra. By far my favorite dress I’ve rented - it was perfect!!

Dress was comfy & fit as described. Wore 2 and 3/4” heel w it. Lots of compliments!

This was by far the best dress I have rented from RTR. I received so many compliments, but even better this dress just made me feel elegant. It was comfortable and the color was perfect for a winter black tie event. I wore a 10 and I think the 8 may have been better, but not sure. My back up was a 12 and that was too loose. I am larger in the chest and smaller at the waist - didn’t want to risk it being too tight. Hope this helps and convinces you to rent this magical dress!

This dress was perfect for the gala I attended. I received so many compliments throughout the night. It was a little large in the chest area but you couldn’t tell when wearing it. I am 5’ 2” and with heals it fit great!

So many compliments. Fit perfectly. Wore to a “black tie optional” wedding in Bermuda. Had to steam it a little before wearing from packing/traveling but excellent material. Perfect!

Wore it to a black tie wedding on the beach. Paired it with earrings they showed. Bought silver leather sandals. Looked great. Fit nice with a bit of stretch. Fitted but not too tight. Didn’t show rolls or bumps. Held its shape in the wind. Loved, loved the dress. Received a ton of compliments.

The fabric is amazing, thick with the perfect amount of stretch that allows for movement and comfort but also very flattering. I still wore a spanx like body suit and felt the best about myself in this dress.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and I was given the instruction to wear any blue dress I wanted. I originally ordered another blue dress from RTR, but there was a quality issue so RTR sent me two other options (for free) to ensure I was prepared for this wedding (THANK YOU RTR!) This dress was stunning on. It was light weight and so elegant with the bow on the shoulder. The bride was obsessed. I could've sized down one size, but the 8R fit well.

I was afraid the length would be a problem but it fit perfectly. I was very pleased with the overlook fit and look. Great experiences renting from Rent the Runway!

This dress is gloriously simple in its design, but packs a punch in wow factor! It ran a little bigger than I anticipated, but the tape I used was pretty magical 🪄

I absolutely loved this gown! I felt so chic! ✨ I ordered the 8R and 10R. I ended up wearing the 8R, it was a little snug but the 10R was extremely large on me. Length was perfect with a 3-4 inch heel. The neckline was extremely flattering. I recommend shapewear as the dress is form fitting.

This gown did not disappoint. I received so many compliments about the color and style, sayvyes to this dress! The down side is I am 5'6" and the R length was short and showed my feet. I tried the next size up but the length wasn't much longer. The chest was slightly large, and surprisingly the gown is not lined.

I do not ever fit in a 0.. i double sized down from my regular (4) so i ordered a 2 and a 0 because i have small boobs ha and read the reviews so went really safe and they are spot on. (size 2 was too big for me and i honestly might’ve ordered a 0 and a double0 if i had known) it has a very large bust but i just bought a target brand push up bra with extra padding just to fill that area out a bit more, to hold the shape of the dress. the bow is perfect, doesn’t feel in the way or too big, doesn’t bother you when you sit down either! the lower back area right above your butt was a little poofy/gathered but wasn’t anything to worry about and that’s pretty normal for me. not hard to walk in, stairs were okay just had to be careful and pulled the dress up so the back slit opened more. it does wrinkle pretty fast but again, nothing to worry about, you can pull the dress down to even out a few. everyone told me i looked absolutely stunning, i credit the dress. i wore white pointed kitten heels and small pearls, too much jewelry would be distracting, the dress speaks for itself!! loved it. made me feel absolutely beautiful.

I wasn’t sure about this one, and got it as a backup dress. As soon as I trued it on, I knew this was my dress! I loved it and felt so beautiful, and received so many compliments!

Was nice for a formal/black tie optional wedding. If you’re on the fence on sizing, go up. Gets wrinkled after lots of sitting but that was expected. Pretty color.

The material and big shoulder bow make this dress so fun and fancy! I wore this for my brother in law’s wedding as a bridesmaid. I typically wear a 14/16 and it only comes in a 14 so it was a bit snug in my stomach area (which is my trouble area after 3 c-sections) - but the fabric is so thick that it was okay. I am 5’2 and wore 2 inch heels. Rent this dress!!

While I loved the color, the fit just didn’t work for my body shape. I went with a size 10, which ended up being a bit too large. I think a size 8 would’ve been perfect, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get it zipped around my bust. I’ve had great experiences with RTR in the past, and I’ve always loved the dresses I’ve rented, but this one just fell short. I didn’t feel confident or comfortable in it, and honestly, I couldn’t wait to take it off. It was a bit of a letdown, especially considering how much I typically enjoy my RTR rentals.

Not sure how to order accordingly for height

This is not a typo. The dress was a size 2, but it wasn't for me. Rented this one for my mom bc she was having trouble finding a "mother of the groom" dress for my brother's wedding. It fit her body perfectly, and she received so many compliments.

This was a fabulous and classy gown, but was a little bit too roomy and due to the structure of the gown made me look wider than I am. The length was ok for my 5’1” height with heels, but I chose a different gown that was more flattering for me.

Stunning - so classy and didn’t even have to iron it. Great fabric!

i was afraid the shade of blue would be too white ish but it’s definitely more of a slate blue. great dress as a wedding guest - comfortable, good fit and got many compliments

I am typically a size 8 but there is no forgiveness with this material so may want to consider sizing up.

I wore this to Gala Dinner and got compliments on its design, material and color. I ordered size 0 and 2 as a back-up and ended up with size 2 as feeling more comfortable in 2 when sitting. The bow adds a touch of elegance and flatters my straight & flat chest.

This was a lovely bridesmaid dress; the fabric has just a bit of stretch that makes the dress very wearable and easy to move around in.

I wear this brand and usually I’m an 8 but this one was a tad too small. I would advise getting the larger size just in case. I wore it and it was fine but “fit like a glove”. Normally I’m 29.5 “ waist; 39.5 hips. I’m 5’4” and had a midsize heel I wore to make it floor length. Color is a pale blue. Need more dresses like this for the event roster. Some dress brands I would like to see more are more Marchesa, more Badgley Mishka, More Theia, More Sachin & Babi, and Teri Jon.
