I got this as a back up dress and it ended up being *the dress* for a black tie Christmas ball. I received so many compliments and some people even asked me if it was custom made. I agree with all the reviews that it is better suited for hourglass figures. I have a 26” waist and wore a 2. The chest was big but that is normal for me. Since the dress was so form fitting at the waist though I didn’t have to do the strapless dress shimmy all night 🙌🙌 Note that for me, this was a standing dress (iykyk) and do not recommend if you need to eat or sit.

This fit perfectly through the waist. The hips were very roomy but the cut made this athletic/straight hipped girl look like I had some curves. The top was a bit loose so I ultimately didn’t wear this dress because I thought I would be pulling it up all night. It would be great for a bigger chest.

The dress is beautiful and the color is amazing. The sizing though is a bit strange. It was super tight on the hips but a bit loose in the bust. I tried a bigger size and it was a huge difference. So huge, In fact, that it couldn't even consider wearing it. I stuck with a smaller size and it worked out but I definitely would have preferred a little bit of give. If you have hips, keep in mind a tighter fit.

I didn’t end up wearing this dress to a black tie wedding but I loved it!! It’s the most fun limey olive color and it fit like a glove!

I received so many compliments on this dress. Worn at a Gala. The only downside is it was very snug in the rib cage area but the size up was too big in the chest so I just went with the size that was a little tighter. If you are busty, I would suggest sizing up to be more comfortable.

I wore this dress to a Navy ball. It fit perfectly and the length was grea, I am 5'3 and wore 3 inch heels. The top has beading which you can't really tell from the photos but good to consider.

I felt like a princess! This was not my chosen dress for this semi formal wedding. However! I will be renting it for a black tie wedding coming up! Love the fit and style! Comfy and easy to walk in!

Loved everything about this dress and received so many compliments throughout the evening at a Bridgerton themed gala. The length was perfect and the fabric was cooler. I also loved that the dress was lightweight. This one was hard to send back!

I absolutely loved the dress, although didn’t fit comfortably for me specifically. Waist area a bit snug, but doable, however the chest area was a bit loose and had a difficult time staying in place so had to add hem tape to keep in place. I rented a size 14, my usual size and have a 38C bra size. In my opinion it ran just slightly smaller, and best for larger breast. Overall loved it though!

I wore this dress to a debutante ball and it was absolutely perfect. Every single person who saw me commented on the beauty of this dress. Someone even said “I know that dress was expensive.” I was apprehensive about renting at first because I thought I may as well just buy a dress. But no dress for this price would’ve been this gorgeous with that many compliments. If you’re on the fence, trust me this is worth renting

I reserved this dress a month in advance and it was so worth it! I attached two photos so you can see that the dress photographs different shades of green. The dress was perfect for a formal wedding and the partnership with Black Tux was second to none! I am so happy I chose an exquisite gown for this event. Plus, we snapped some extra photos for our Christmas cards! If this dress is in stock then book it ASAP! Thanks RTR for such a great experience! For reference, I am 34-27.5 and 37. I looked up the Sachin & Babi size guide and the size 4R was perfect. It was snug on the waist but the 6R was too big around the hips. It's a great idea to look up the Sachin size guide as it is true to fit. Thanks again RTR!

Wore to a black tie wedding - I'm between a 4 and a 6.. went with the 6 and it worked! Chest was a little big and I had a bit of room but I wanted that! Overall stunning and loved it. Received so many compliments!

Perfect length. A little big in bust. Pinned dress to bra and no o e could tell. The organza overlay was mine and worked perfect with the dress for me.

I wore this to a formal awards show and felt like a million bucks!! Fits well, but I have larger than normal boobs so it was a bit tight on my chest

LOVE the color and I received a TON of compliments. I am a true size 4 and found the top was a little big. The size 2 fit better in the bust, but too snug on the hips, so I kept with the 4 and made it work with boob tape and double sided tape to hold the dress up. Also, i found the dress a bit short. I’m 5’7” and needed to buy kitten heels so it didn’t look awkward.

this gown is absolutely stunning. I will note that it was a bit short for someone of my height, I had to last minute find some shorter heels to pair with it. The bust area was also a bit loose. Other than that, its extremely flattering and beautiful, also very comfortable. Got lots of compliments!

This was a perfect pick for a summer black-tie optional wedding. The color was a standout, and the shape was flattering. Only things that give me pause on giving it five stars is that the material makes me personally nervous (anyone spills on you and no hiding it) and the tiny strip of mini beads at the top (which I didn’t even notice in the photos until I saw the dress in person).

Felt like the ribcage/back area had to be very snug to keep the top up nicely in front. Plenty of hip room though.

The trials and tribulations that this dress caused for me honestly changed my brain chemistry. The hips and waist fit perfectly but unless the bust is super tight, it WILL just fall down. I bought 3 different bras and 3 different dress tapes to try and solve this problem but I still had to safety pin it. My skin was raw at the end of the day from the amount of dress tape that I required. It's also very difficult to sit in because there's absolutely no give in the hips area. I did get a lot of complements on the dress but it was not worth it. I vowed to myself that I will never ever wear a dress so uncomfortable ever again. Not to be dramatic but dresses like these are a function of the patriarchy. The groomsmen were all laughing and joking around in their tuxes whereas I was stressing about whether my dress was going to fall down/could you see my dress tape/is the dress gonna rip when I sit or bend? Do not bother with this dress. Find a comfortable dress that you can just throw on and needs no taping/pinning/readjusting. Life is too short and us women deserve to be comfortable in our formal wear.

Gorgeous fabric with beading in the front. Normally wear a 6. Height: 5'8", bust: 34B/C, weight: 145. Dress was too slim in the bodice to get the zipper up. Very disappointing. Did not wear for my event. No time to order next size.

i’m usually around a 12, sometimes 14. tried this in 14 and it was a bit too big, i think the 12 will be perfect! the fabric and fit are lovely. perfect for formal/black tie!

Beautiful dress but a small size. I really wanted to wear this dress and they did not have a size larger. Rent the Runway was fabulous, they sent another style dress in time for me to make my event.

Top part of the dress was a little too small for me, which almost never happens. I ordered both 0 and 2, and got it only size 0 which fitted not the best for me.

Didn’t wear. Chest runs big in front but also felt snug zipping up the back for a four. Feels like it was cut oddly to have so much extra room in the front but to be snug zipping up the back. If I’d sizes up, i think the chest would’ve gaped even more and looked sloppy. I’m 5’9 and it was very short. Could see my ankles and whole shoe which I don’t prefer for a true black tie gown. Color is also a not a pretty in person. Kind of looks like a bad bridesmaid dress.

It was so pretty and the perfect length with heels! It was sadly too big in the chest and rib cage area; therefore, I wasn’t able to wear it to the wedding. Would get a smaller size next time

Didn't get to wear it. I'm usually between a 6 & 8, but the 8 was way too big.

Only the 0R was available instead of Petite. I ended up wearing it and the color of firehouse but wayyyyy too big in the bust and a bit long (I wore with 3” heels). I’m 105lbs, 5’2” and typically 32C. Luckily I wore it to a winter wedding so was able to hide the big bust with a stole.
