Front is covered up. Back is totally open back with two tiny straps. I did not wear a bra considering my small chest. Wore 3 times to 3 events over 2 weeks before I sent back. This is one of those dresses you want to purchase.

This dress is so cute! I wore it on vacation in Hawaii and I just loved it. I didn't have an issue with the straps but I have big boobs (32 DD/E). I wore the 4 and it was a great fit on my curvy/petite body. I will probably rent it again!

The Straps were a little big in the back, so I actually used a small rubber band (hidden by my hair) to tighten them. Zipper was a little hard to get up over the middle seam, so make sure you have someone to assist you!

This dress was very comfortable, perfect length and the tie in the back allows you to adjust the straps. No need to wear a bra. Loved this!

Straps are long, even with a long torso, but overall was pretty and didn't feel unstable. Beautiful details, great true red color

This dress was an amazing vibrant red color. The material was very good quality. The top was a little larger so can definitely wear if you have a bigger bust. This dress fell around the knees for me. I wouldn't recommend wearing a bra with this dress. Could be dressed up or down.

I sized up to 8 to make sure it fit around my rib cage and size 6 would have been better. The color was great. Conservative in the front, sexy in the back. The straps need to be sown tight before wearing it.

The straps are bizarrely long. Had to pin them back like others, which was annoying since I didn't do it ahead of the event and my husband wasn't much help! I wore it without a bra and was totally comfortable. Great length. I could have really dressed it up but ended up keeping it casual for a pre wedding cocktail party. I'm keeping it for another event next week!

A 6 is my typical dress size and this dress fit well in all the right places. The only issue with the dress (reason for 4 stars) is that the straps were way too long. I had to safety pin them to make them shorter and then it fit perfectly. I got compliments all night and it was easy and comfortable to dance in!

I loved this dress so much, it was so comfortable and fit me so well .... except the straps were too long since my small chest didn't fill out the dress. I as able to safety pin the at the top under the front so you couldn't even see it. Other than that, it was such a fun dress to wear to a fancy dinner.

Loved the color and material of this dress. Could either be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I am a 32DD and the chest area was still a little big on me so something to be aware of. Also it is backless so no bra or stickies.

It fit perfectly, and the scarlet red made me feel like a vixen while still staying elegant and feminine. The only issue with this dress is that the straps are gigantic and meant to be resized (if owned) . So I made it work with some tape and a safety pin.

Loved this and got a ton of compliments. The open back is a nice touch. Fabric is a little heavier than I thought for a hot weekend but it still breathed nicely. The straps are too long so I had to tie them creatively but you could pin them down if you had the help of someone else.

This was a 'back-up' dress option that RTR sent me. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it grew on me and I received lots of compliments. I have a 34DD bust, and filled out the dress and wore a sticky backless bra. (There is likely to be extra fabric/gaps if you are not as full chested.) Also, some of other reviewers said that the straps were too long - which is true if you don't tie them correctly. There are loops inside the dress that you have to tie the straps into, to adjust them for your body appropriately, so if you rent this dress, be sure that you do that!

This dress was beautiful and so much fun to wear! The details were lovely and the color was exactly what I wanted. This was actually my backup dress, but I think I ended up liking it much better than my original pick. Like other reviewers noted, the straps are long, so I adjusted them in the back to make sure the front was properly situated. I also used double sided tape along the side-boob area. I only did this because I have a small chest and wanted to make sure the dress held firmly in those areas. Those two adjustments were the only reasons this dress didn't get 5 stars. I'm 5'8" and have a pear shape so I decided to get a 6 with a 4 as my backup. They both fit well, but I went with the 6, thinking it'd be more comfortable for sitting, eating, and dancing. I received a lot of compliments and felt like a million bucks all night. This was a wonderful first experience with RTR and I've already placed a second order for another friend's wedding in a couple weeks.

This dress was a bit bittersweet. It was fitted and constructed weird - it was big across the chest with VERY long straps but you are able to fix the straps by using the ties for the waist to wrap around. The color was amazing and the fabric was perfect for a winery party. I'd rent it again even though there were some downsides!

I wanted this dress as soon as I saw it in the " new arrivals" section and rented it with unlimited. I will have to agree with the other reviews in that this dress is made for girls with bigger chests. Let's talk about the zipper on the dress for a second-it's awful and feels like I'm trying to rip a seam ever centimeter I move, even though the zipper itself wasn't even touch my skin. I'm a 4/6 dress and found that after zipping myself up I could grab a full pinch of fabric out from under my arm. I'm a 34 C and hardly ever have that problem. It's a beautiful dress and well made and I would rent again 100% rent again.

This dress got a lot of compliments and was perfect for a hot, humid Virginia wedding. I just wish it had pockets!

wore it to Easter lunch with family and friends. Great color and quality. The only problem was the small straps in the back didn't fit right. I have a short torso though so might fit others better. Overall loved the dress.

The color and fabric of this dress are fantastic, however the sizing was off. The straps were too long (I had to tack them with a cross stitch almost 2 inches), the chest area was very big (and I am a d cup. I had to pull the midsection of the dress up all night as it gaped a bit. I did end up wearing it with a stick on strapless bra due to the low back. For being a more expensive rental, I expected a better fit.

Despite the high bib in front, my boobs weren't secure on the sides. I'm fairly well-endowed & it still felt loose. Fit perfectly elsewhere. It was super cute but I wanted it to work more than it did.

Didn't need a bra! Lays very well, with classic lines. The lace isn't cheap looking. Open Back is beautiful and accentuates a very feminine but not revealing look. Great find!!

Loved this dress! I was concerned the eyelet might be too casual for a wedding (summer, outdoor) but it looked perfectly appropriate for cocktail. As other reviewers have mentioned, the straps are very long - they're obviously intended to be fit to the owner (they're barely sewn on). Like other users, I was fine safety pinning them shorter. Also, the top has a bib element - it's hard to tell on the model's picture, but the fabric doesn't lay flat against your chest and there's a sort of ruffle framing the bust down to the waist. I ended up taping it down on the sides with fashion tape and thought it looked much more flattering. The only "con" is that the dress definitely runs TTS, but only once it's stretched out! I normally wear a 10 and had a 12 as backup. The 10 could zip up (and note that other reviewers are right, the zipper is horrible and feels like you'll break it - I actually used WD-40 on mine!) but felt SO tight, hard to breathe, etc. I ended up going with the 12...only to have it stretch out at least a full dress size over the course of the night. (By the time I got home, the top was so stretched out that when I raised my arms the dress shifted enough to expose my boobs! I probably flashed everyone on the dance floor.) I'd recommend going with the smallest size that you're still able to zip and wearing it around the house as long as possible before your event - it WILL stretch out!

This dress is true to fit. Based on photos, I thought it was a true fit & flare style dress but there is a ruffle at the hem of the dress that gives the dress more curve to your shape. The halter shape was a bit big on me -- might be better for a larger bust -- but was fine with some fashion tape. Overall, loved the dress!

It is a little heavy, but you feel supported and it is worth it!

I usually wear a 6, but the 4 fit well. My only issue were that the straps were incredibly long... I am tall, so I think they'd be too long on everyone. My mom helped me kinda pin the under in the back, which turned out to work well. As long as you have a couple safety pins and a friend, you'll look great!

The dress has a great length (not very short) and is super flattering, however, the straps are horrible! I had to pin them with a safety pin in the back to keep the dress from falling down. Also, my boobs kept falling out the sides because the dress was a bit on the large side.

I'm 5'10 and was super surprised the stripes were even too long for me. I used safety pins to hold them in place so it wasn't a big concern but I'm not sure who could wear this without adjusting the straps if they're 2 inches too long for me. Aside from that, the dress is adorable!

Great dress. Very flattering. I am petite and the length was great. Not too long, as many dresses are for me. The chest area is large and I had to pin the straps, as they were long. Was a quick fix and thoroughly enjoyed the dress!
