Unique!

Wore this to my graduation and got so many compliments & was my school colors ;) it fit awesome. Didn't expect there to be pockets so just make sure they don't slip out after sitting! But you can't see the lining of them. Well constructed garment

Can't get better

I wore this dress to a fashion-nonprofit gala in New Orleans. Effortless choice when wanting to be fashionable yet comfortable. The dress runs small though... So size up! Also, give yourself some extra time getting ready so you have time to button all those buttons!

I wore this to a 1960's Holiday party, I went for the Twiggy look. It worked perfectly for the event

I excepted the dress to fit loosely, which it did in a good way. It was comfortable and it didn't look like I was swimming in it. It is on the shorter side, which worked for me since I'm short. If you're on the taller side I'd recommend wearing some tights. I did get a handful of compliments, loved it!

Tons of compliments!

I usually wear a 10 but with Rachael Zoe, the 12 fit perfectly for my 36c chest. Otherwise, the 10 would have worked beautiful. So if your chest width isn't he vice, go with 10. A tad short of a dress so you have to decide if it's good for work event. Mine was work event and concert in Miami Beach so perfect on a cool night. Was so comfortable dancing the night away. Paired with only black and gold earrings since the buttons are matte gold.

Oh so modernly mod!

This mini emanates such a vintage yet modern vibe! Late 60s, early 70s come to mind. But the crisp black and white colors keeps the style updated. The material looks thin, but actually has great weight to it; really good quality. Even the gold buttons feel durable and luxurious! Fit is true to size. I am 5'1" and 3/4" (round up to 5'2") at 118-120 lbs, bra size 34B. And the size 2 was perfect! However, even at my short height, the length of the dress was a bit short. I'd say it went about 4 inches below my cheeks, so it definitely rose high when I would bend or sit. Taller gals beware! It is a bit snug in the chest for me, even at 34B. Well-endowed ladies might want to size up. A regular bra would've worked with this dress, but I opted for an adhesive bra for a seamless look. Definitely recommend nude panties as the white part can become see-through in certain lighting. Overall, love the style, colors and materials!

Wore this to a local fashion show party hosted by Rachel Zoe herself & received many compliments!

Based on True Fit, I was recommended a size 2. However, I read the previous review and ordered the 4 with a 2 as my backup size. The 2 was too tight across the chest (I wear a 32DDD) and made the buttons pull. The 4 fit perfectly! I love this dress and received many compliments on its interesting two-toned appearance. I'm petite at 5'3", so the length was absolutely perfect. I think taller women may find it a little on the short side.

Stylist Review!

This chic and fabulously mod shift from Rachel Zoe is a unique yet effortless way to stand out. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup. There is room in the bodice and the arms are comfortable and easy to move around in. At 5'7" the length hit about mid-thigh on me. The material is light and breezy. Pair with minimal gold jewelry and black heeled boots or strappy heels.

Unique style

Definitely too short on me to be worn as a dress, but worked as a top paired with leggings.

Fun, Vintage Style

Ordered size 6 based on reviews. It was a little tight, but I made it work. I wore taller boots to give the illusion of a longer dress, however booties would have been better. The portion of the material can be a little transparent, so wear a nude colored, smooth panty because it will show through or show lace texture. The pockets are also bulky and moved around most of the evening, however that could have been due to the dress being a little snug. Order an extra size if you are unsure. Fabric is also a bit heavier than I anticipated which was nice for a cooler evening. In the summer, this might be too warm.

Just the right amount of birthday sass for dinner with parents and boyfriend.

Typically I wear a 4- but there were no back up sizes available so I opted to chance it with a 2. The length was great, and the shape was really flattering. It was tight in the chest so I would perhaps have liked the 4- there was one button straining slightly over my chest. But overall, it was a great pick for a festive night out. Walking down the street after dinner we overheard someone turn to her friend and say "wow that black and white dress is hot."

Great cool sixties vibe!

The outfit is definitely awesome in person- very sixties vibe and great heavy material. Runs true to size. The white is pretty much see-through so plan for leggings or the like underneath. Great outfit!

Cute Dress

At 5'4, this dress was mid thigh length. I usually wear a 2 or 4 but rented the 4, and I'm glad I did because it was form fitting. There is no stretch to the fabric. I thought the dress would be black and white, but it is more cream and white. I wore it with black/gold flats. Looked really cute.

I got tons of compliments. Chick & fashion forward.

I'm apple shaped - middle is normal hips are really narrow. Shifts are always flattering. The 6 was the perfect fit. The pockets are really cool, I'd wear this again. Kind of wish I owned it.

This dress is so classy and sleek, yet comfortable and unique.

I rented for a work conference, so even though I usually wear an 8, I ordered a 10 and backup 12 for length mainly. The 10 did not arrive, which probably would have been perfect and closer to my size. The 12 is a bit big, but on this type of dress, it's not going to really matter because it's loose. Overall, I think it's a perfect dress and I received numerous compliments. The material is thick and obviously top quality, so it makes you feel good just to have it on.

Comfortable and unique

It was cute! I'm 5 feet tall, and the length was still a good length for me (obviously not as short as the model). I felt comfortable and covered up, but it wasn't a total show-stopper. I wore it to a pretty basic family wedding, and I'm sure they all thought I was wearing a very weird dress (I know) as I didn't hear one compliment... ha. But I liked it and so did my husband!

Great 60's Style Dress!!

This dress is a fantastic cut, albeit short if you are taller. I ordered a 2 and a 4, the 4 fit up top but was smaller around my butt so a 6 would have probably been better. I wore this for a fundraiser that was British Mod theme so I went for 60's style make up and hair. Got a ton of compliments. Would definitely suggest this dress but order a size up if you have a rounder backside.

Great design; slightly fitted elements

I loved the design of this dress and found it to be a fun outfit to wear to work with black tights and a fitted leather jacket -- it's squarely fall weather where I live. I thought the neck was a bit tight, so I left the top button open for comfort and I found the hips to be a bit fitted, such that I wish I could have cut the pockets out.

Mod-themed birthday party

As other reviewers have said, this dress is very short. I expected a 3 inch drop or so, but this dress ended at my crotch line. I have been wondering if it was meant as a petite, because the side pockets started well above my waist. The white is more of a cream color - not the bright white I see on my laptop. Not a problem - just unexpected. I would say go for it if you are a petite. The dress is a style stand-out - I wish it had worked for me!
