This was my first rental and I was super nervous about ending up with a dress that did not fit right so I physically went in to the Georgetown store and immediately fell in love with this dress. The fit is true to size, the waist is nice and tight while letting out in the hips into a loose flare. The material is a heavy satin so the flare of the dress lies perfectly instead of the tutu fit you end up wrestling with all night- this is especially flattering for women with a small waist and full hips. The only issue I had was filling the top. I have a small chest (34B), small waist (27), and full hips, and had a lot of room to spare in the chest of the dress. I would safely say that the top runs a little larger than the rest of the dress. *Note- You can not, in any way, wear a bra with this dress, I tried the backless deep V sticky bra from VS and even that was visible. But the material is so thick and the pattern is perfectly placed that this was not an issue. Plus it's a sexy power move to go braless. I had so many compliments all night on the dress and my boyfriend was crazy over it. I am so in love with this dress and had a VERY hard time giving it back.

There is something 'old world' about it bc of the satin and the bell skirt. It does plunge a little lower than it looked on the model but not so much that it's a distraction. All in all I loved wearing it. Highly recommend!

Fits true to size.

I love this dress, the material and the fit around waist/length. The top was quite large. Usually size 0 dresses are snug on my top, but this was almost too loose. I'm a 34B and there was su much extra "room", you can't wear a bra, I had to tape in pads. Overall though, killer dress!

I definitely needed a 0, but made the dress work by pinning up the straps in the back and taping the front down. I do think it runs true to size I just failed to rent the right one.

Fits true to size and is just as pretty in person as it is in the pictures!

This dress was amazing! I loved the color, it went perfect with my berry red heels! The knot in the front can be tricky to tie in a pretty way, but not impossible. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

100% happy with this dress. I used tape to secure it in the chest area and was slightly long in the shoulder area for my height but it didn't stop me from feeling like a million bucks!

Definitely consider your body shape when deciding on your size. Realizing that my largest aspect is my hips and the dress is smallest at the waist and bust, I went a size smaller and good thing I did! I just needed a little fashion tape to keep the bust from gaping. It was such a flirty, fun dress to wear!

I was really nervous about this dress coming in, but it ended up being completely amazing. I got so many compliments and I found it really comfortable to move in. I was described as a "sexy cupcake" which totally made my evening. I definitely recommend this dress, but be sure to order the correct size because if you don't, disaster could definitely strike. Overall, I fell totally in love with this dress and which I could have kept it. My friends are STILL talking about it.

I wore this dress for New Years Eve. The fit was perfect, didn't experience any issues with the top being too big, no need for fabric tape. I found a cute way to wear the bow up front that gave the dress a slightly edgy look versus the "cutesy" bow. Received many compliments on the dress- I would love to buy it, it's definite yes!

This is one of the best rentals I've had so far! The thick fabric kept the skirt perfectly creased and I received compliments all night long! The dress was a tad snug in my usual size 6 but when I tried the 8 I realized it had to be snug to lay correctly. I wore the 6 so front plunge did not gap which would happen if the dress is worn in the incorrect size. Wish I had this one in my closet permanently.

This dress was so pretty! I wore it to a Kentucky Derby party and it was perfect! The bow is a bit weird, but you can tie it however you want. I ended up putting it in a knot and tucking the sides in and it worked perfectly. I just had twins 2 months before this event and this dress was very forgiving in all the right places! I would definitely recommend!

Every time I went to rent this dress for a wedding this year it was not available at that time. So to my surprise while looking for a dress to wear to a dinner Halloween weekend this one was available. I was so happy and satisfied with the quality of the dress and the fit of the dress. I do feel like it may fit someone with a smaller chest a lot better but for me it still fit nicely and I'm a 32DD or 34D conversion. No bra is needed but maybe a little fabric tape for the outside of the boobs because the fabric tends to provide a slight opening. Overall still a five star because of the color, the fabric, the fit, the style...it's just an amazing dress!! I received tons of compliments and "oh my Goddess'" throughout the whole night and truly felt like royalty!

Wear the more comfortable size if you're smart. The fabric is very heavy and slippery, waist tie will frequently come undone if you're straining it. Material and stitching feels expensive. Hot tip- I wouldn't rent unless you like your cleavage without a bra. Also lube up all exposed skin so dress doesn't catch more light than you do. Verdict: The dress is damn beautiful. Rent.

I got the 2 and the 6 (4 was unavailable) and I ended up wearing the 2. It fit great around my chest but the zipper on the side didn't zip up all the way but it was covered so it's ok. The color was so pretty! It was a little short (I'm about 5'9) but I could still dance without it being an issue. Great experience and I'll definitely rent again!

i LOVED this dress !! It was a beautiful pale pink color. It was a heavy quality material that appeared almost shimmery. Definitely a little low cut in the front but it still felt classy because of the fuller skirt and material. I never felt uncomfortable in it. I received lots of compliments on the dress even from strangers and felt like Marilyn Monroe because of the halter dress style and fun skirt. I usually wear a 4/6 in dresses - but I wore a 2 in this which definitely helps keep the chest area in place. I wasn't completely sure how to tie the bow - so I just went with a double knot and I think it looked fine - but I am sure there may be more creative ways. Overall this was my favorite RTR dress to date and would love an excuse to wear it again !! Rent it now, you won't regret it !!

Couldn't have been happier not only with this outstanding dress but with the rent the runway process as a whole! Just like the other reviews say I wish I could buy this dress it is out of this world! The most compliments I've ever gotten on a dress and the quality was top of the line; from the fabric to the construction this has it all! I'm usually between a 4 and a 6 I have a large rib cage which usually puts me in a 6 but I wore a 4 in this dress and it fit like a glove. You can't wear a bra because of the back and I definitely recommend double stick tape but with that I had no problems and felt comfortable the whole night. Highly recommend this for any event!!!

This was my first RTR and I loved it! I rented this dress for a summer wedding and received many compliments. The dress ran true to size and the belt was easy to tie. The color was beautiful and fabric was comfortable, not too heavy. Regardless of chest size, you'll want fabric tape of some kind. I didn't have too much problem as a 34c but thought if my chest had been any smaller it wouldn't have fit felt up top. For tall people, it is long enough to be appropriate but don't plan on twirling around or bending over much :)

The color is beautiful- a little bit less "blush" than the picture portrays, but honestly I think the color is better in person. The top was a little big for me considering I am very flat chested, but with a little fashion tape it worked well. I received many compliments on this dress and would definitely rent again.

The bust was a little big for me (34b) but I wore it anyway I was just careful. I tried to find the boob suction things but couldn't find them as I only had time to go to one store. This dress is so comfortable and I got compliments all night. I am debating owning this dress for myself. Can't rave on this dress enough

I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it to a beach wedding and got tons of compliments. My chest is big (32DDD) and this fit pretty perfectly. Great dress for those with a larger chest. It's more fitted around the waist part so no stretch at all. I am normally a 4, ended up renting a 2 and 4 and while both fit great, the straps on the 4 were longer so I opted for the 2. I didn't have any trouble tying the knot like other reviews said, you just have to find a way to make it work! Would definitely rent again!

definitely cannot wear a bra- I did wear stick on cups but felt like I was conscious of checking to see if the cups were showing. Pink not as pale as I hoped, a little more mauvy/peach but still gorgeous. Very flattering for smaller on top ladies.

This dress was really fun to wear; beautiful and flattering color. I am a little long in the torso, so the waist/belt tie hit a little higher than my true waist. I received a lot of compliments, and dancing was a blast in it - the skirt has a great twirl. I also found it to be pretty comfortable and didn't need to fidget or adjust anything throughout the evening. Many of the other reviewers stated that they had difficulty with the tie part of the dress, but I found it to be pretty simple - Pull the right side through loop on the left, and double knot. I definitely recommend this dress for your occasion.

I had to go with the 6, because a 4 wasn't available. Because I really needed the 4, I ended up having to tape myself into the dress with fashion tape. It was ok everywhere except the boob area. I was able to tie and secure the belt part to be snug, but before taping, you could practically see everything down the front of the dress. I am a 32/34DD. It otherwise was a beautiful dress, and I had a great experience with RTR! :)

The dress fit perfectly. So many compliments. I am 5'4" and 128 lbs. left the house without using fashion tape because the dress looked perfect standing up. But when I sat down in the car, my husband said I might as well take the dress off because nothing was covered. :). We stopped off and bought fashion tape on the way. I think this is one of my favorite dresses from RTR.

Fit was true to size. The material is very pretty- The satin is a more rosy pink than pictured on the website. I wore this to my sorority's Semi Formal and got endless complements in this dress. I would certainly recommend this dress to anyone! The cut and style of this dress would be flattering on anyone. As previous reviews stated that the tie kept coming undone, I made sure to double knot mine and that seemed to do the trick. All and all, the dress was perfect for the occasion and the service I received was excellent!

It fit me like it was made for me. I was a little worried because I have a smaller bust, but it wasn't a problem at all. I actually didn't even have to wear a bra so that's nice! I would highly recommend this dress it made me feel like a princess! It's the perfect dress to wear on your birthday, to a wedding or to any formal event.

An amazing party dress. I received so many compliments. The dress is flirty, sophisticated and is great for twirling. Wore to a late August wedding with gold accessories. Would recommend that ladies with a smaller bust and who are petite use double sided tape to secure the dress. I wore the size two ( ordered 2 & 4) as the straps and dress length were a bit on the longer side on a petite frame.

I'm 5'7 140lbs and this dress fit perfectly! I love the rose pink color and belt was great because you can make it as tight or loose as you wanted. I'm a 34C and the bust was not to revealing, I decided not to wear a bra with this and it worked great. It's also a great length! Overall I was very pleased with this dress!

I absolutely love this dress! This was my first RTR experience and I'm totally hooked! This dress was sent as a backup and while I didn't end up wearing it for my event, I will definitely rent it again! It does run large in the chest so make sure to size down. I typically wear a 6 and I think a 4 would have been perfect. The zipper is really tough to pull up, so you may need some assistance with it. I would have gone without a bra, but if you're not comfortable with that, you easiest use petals. I'm pretty flat chested tho, so those that are bigger up top may need to come up with something else. I love that the skirt is full so you don't have to suck it in all night and you can actually eat and drink in it! Beautiful color and material.

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's Formal on a river boat and it was the perfect mixture of sweet and sexy. The material felt very expensive and although the top is a bit revealing, the tie around the waist and the crisscross straps across the back really help to keep everything supported. (With that being said, I would recommend this dress to girls with a larger bust, unless you have a large supply dress tape on hand.) I got so many complements- especially on the cut, and color of the dress and I would 100% love to wear it again!

The fit was great. I was worried about the dress not fitting properly in the chest due to the style and cut. I am not that busty, so ladies with a bigger bust might not fit as well in this dress. I went a size down since it's a forgiving style. The size 2 worked out great, and it fit snugly so there was no chance of a fashion faux pas. I used Hollywood tape for extra precaution. I highly recommend this dress! The color is more rich and gorgeous in person. It's more of a dusky pink rose color rather than the pale pink color it appears in pictures on the site. Wish I could add this dress to my closet!

AMAZING. Honestly I still have girlfriends asking "where is your dress from", referring to the pictures that were taken from this event. It's SO good ladies. I am 5'5 108 and I wore a size 0 it fit like a glove - was perfect and true to size.

Great material...it's nice and thick which hides necessary undergarments perfectly. I'm a 34DDD and was worried about fitting in the bust. I usually wear a size 6 but ended up wearing the 8. Didn't notice much difference in the waist size between the size 6 and 8, but there was a huge difference in the bust area. Great fit and received tons of compliments. This is a little sexier than I usually wear but went for it anyway. I'm so glad I did!

Loved the material. Super fun and very easy to move in. The front tie/bow thing came apart 3 times during the night but didn't bother me much.
