Beautifully well-made dress, with nice thick material. I usually wear a 0 or a 2, and I found the 2 was a little big. I would have preferred if it was a bit more nipped in at the waist, but the loose design makes it a wonderful dress to wear out and be comfortable. I wore it to a dinner party and it was perfect, but it would also be a lot of fun at a wedding because of the full skirt and movement. The stripped detailing on the bodice and skirt is not as pronounced in person as it is on the model. It just looks like a solid blue dress. I would definitely rent it again if I needed to go to a fall wedding!

What a great dress! I rented this for a wedding and I wanted to look classic, yet interesting. This dress definitely fit the bill. The 4R fit perfectly! The knit fabrication means absolute comfort. I loved the peekaboo quality and fullness of the skirt. The classic style means it can be styled differently and work for many occasions. I am always cognizant of looking like a mutton in lamb's clothing, this dress made me feel age appropriate without being dowdy. Love, love, love and I would definitely rent it again.

This dress is stunning! I was nervous about the inside slip part, nervous that it would be too tight on my hips, but it's not at all! Made a great impression for a meeting I had. Super flattering and very luxe material. I wish I could buy this one!

The pattern wasn't as pronounced as on the model. The 6 was a little loose but not too big. I would have liked to try the 4 but I think the arm holes would have been too small. Lots of compliments! Didn't wrinkle very easily and traveled well!

This dress would be wonderful to dance in- the skirt has a lot of movement and a good weight to it. From the pictures online you'd think it was rather sheer but the dress is heavier than it looks (dead heat of summer renters beware). Perfect for a cool spring evening with a light wrap and some heels. Easy fit through the hips- a little stretch through the bust, fitted at the waist, but by no means was it tight.

I really liked this dress, but it wasn't an eye-catcher. A lot less see-through than the picture makes it seem. Overall it felt safe and comfortable. It was very easy to dance in! The fabric is definitely thicker, so I would not advise for a summer outdoor occasion.

I've had my eye on this dress for months and was so excited to wear it for my birthday outing in Brooklyn and Coney Island. However, this was the first rental I was actually disappointed with. The dress was a little shapeless (I probably should have sized down) so I paired it with a belt and that was fine. What I really didn't like was that it wasn't nearly as transparent in person as shown on the model. I thought it would be cute and a little sexy and instead I felt kind of frumpy. I also wasn't prepared for the thickness of the dress. It's pretty much a sweater dress. All in all, it was fine, but I didn't feel as special as I would have liked on my birthday.

I rented this for a family wedding (in April) - my goals were to be classy without looking blah/stuffy and be able to chase my 4.5 + 2.5-year-old daughters around the dance floor without worrying about my dress showing more of me than I intended to. Success. I'm short (5'3"), so I wasn't sure how the length would look, but with heels (3.5 in), the length ended up being perfect. As other reviews pointed out, the sheerness of the skirt isn't quite as obvious as the RTR photo makes it seem, but that was fine for me. Super comfortable and all of the ladies at the wedding loved it! I paired it with a statement necklace to add some pop to it.

Loved the fit of the dress, I was able to wear a size down from what I usually do as it is rather forgiving with the flow bottom.

I loved this dress which was preppy and conservative but just a little modern, so I felt like myself but also fit right in with the tone and style of the day. Paired with a springy cardigan and fun alexis bittar earrings, also rented. Dress wore really well, which was great since I wore it from 9 am to 9 pm. I didn't wear a bra since the dress was lined and fit me very well through the ribs/chest. I say it ran large since that usually doesn't happen. Totally smoothed over any mid-section imperfections. More of a brunch/party dress than one for dancing, since the fabric is a little heavy!

The dress has a thick knit striped pattern, so the sheerness is not as visible as seen on the model. I loved the weight, however if I had worn the 2 (which fit fine) it would have pulled the waistline down. I am glad I ordered the 0 as my back up. I would say it runs somewhere between true to size and runs large. I received lots of compliments. The color is a dark royal purple, but my husband swore it was blue. It just depends on the lighting. Would definitely rent again!

I agree with other reviews, the dress is not as sheer as the picture shows. However, it is very nice. I did not wear or need a belt, as some suggested. I received several compliments and would highly recommend this dress.

The length was prefect and the cut was very flattering. I wore this to a wedding and felt really comfortable. The fabric is a lot different than I thought, heavier than the picture but it worked in this instance.

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner. It was a little big, and I recommend wearing it with a belt to create a waistline. If you are normally a 4, get a 4. It was comfortable though, and I definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous fit. Fabric has very nice weight to it. Elegant but fun at the same time. Tight on top and flowy skirt create a nice silhouette. Perfect dress for a baby shower or other daytime event.

I was pleasantly surprised by this dress. It is true to size and the fit is very comfortable. Even though the materials looks thin and transparent in the pictures, I was very happy to realize that the quality of the fabric was great and the transparency was not as extreme as it looks in the online photo. I actually thought it made the dress more appropriate for the event that I was attending because it wasn't see though. The material had some stretch to it and I loved the way the fabric flowed at tea length. I would recommend this dress to anyone! Enjoy!

This dress was super comfortable and flattering!

I originally rented this great dress thinking that I would wear it to go out, but when it arrived I was surprised to find it was more conservative then I thought. I mean I wouldn't wear it to [enter religious service of your choice] with my grandma, but the fabric was thick and the dress itself was pretty long. Plus the peekaboo at the top and bottom wasn't as dramatic in real life as it appears in the pictures on the model. So I wound up pairing it with a nude pump and wearing it to an all-day work meeting. It was great.

The fit is very true to size and I did wear 4 inch heels with it as I am petite. 5'3 1/2. It is a heavier material so it keeps you warm. I did not need a bra underneath which was nice. It is such a chic glam dress you can wear for brunch, party, evening dinner party, or more formal and dress it up with jewelry.

This dress is the perfect length for a formal event, it fit very comfortably, and its sheer panels and flowy bottom made it extremely fun to wear.

I loved this classy navy number! It was comfortable, with a lot of stretch to the fabric, and very on trend with the sheer detailing. It runs a tad large, so I would order your normal size and size down for backup. I wore the 4, but I really needed the 6, or my normal size, 8 for a better fit. Because of the sheer top, I would recommend a strapless bra or nubra, but the fabric is thick enough that no bra at all is totally fine too, depending on your preference. The zipper is in the back of the dress as well, and it is important to note that in real life the skirt does not look as sheer as it does in the model photos. This dress would flatter any body type and really brought out my blue eyes!

Very comfortable, the skirt really flows and is great for dancing. I wore this to a daytime wedding and got lots of compliments. I paired it with a pink pashmina (from my own closet) to add color. (Unfortunately, the lighting was funny where I took the picture, and it doesn't do it justice.)

The fabric on this dress has a very heavy weight, making it flattering with plenty of give. It's not form fitting. The dress is definitely not as sheer as in the photo, as other reviews have pointed out. Those two things combined make this dress perfect for a work event. It's a bit frumpy for anything else. I ended up wearing my second pick as a result. It just didn't have the wow factor.

I ordered this dress for a wedding. Dress sizes I can run from 10-14 depending on the style. I got a 12R because thanks Rachel Zoe who doesn't apparently make a size 14. Luckily though, the 12R fit (I didn't get a second size). WARNING: This dress is SUPER SUPER HEAVY! It doesn't look like it in the photos, but it is very thick material. I was dancing and was dying I was so hot. Even though it looks light and breezy, I would NOT rent this for an outdoor summer wedding. You could get away wearing this in December and be fine. This was my first rental on this site and I already have some stuff queued away for a bridal shower and two more weddings this summer as well as some maxis for vacation!

The dress is really pretty in person! I really enjoyed wearing it and was able to dance all night without worry about anything! It can look slightly casual if it isn't paired with the right heel and jewelry. So make sure you glam it up a bit if it's for a wedding. The fabric is a bit thicker than normal, but this is so it holds it's shape. I wore this indoors at a Long Beach wedding and it was perfect temperature.

I wore this for a photo shoot and loved it! The color is great and the cut is very classic. I was able to get away without wearing a bra as well. Very comfortable and chic.

This dress is beautiful! It was not the chiffon dress I was thinking it was. It was much more of a knit material, which is great for cooler weather. The bottom of the skirt was not as visibly see-through as it appears to be online. I am about 5'2", so I was a little afraid that the dress might be too long for me, but they dress hit me at about 5" above my ankle, so it didn't make me appear short like most tea-length dresses do. I rented my normal dress size, which is a US 2, and I found that I could have worn the 0 for a more fitted-at-the-waist look. The size 2 kind of hung since it was a tad large and the fabric's weight was pulling the dress down. A belt at my natural weight was a quick fix for that. Overall, a wonderfully-made dress with a sweet silhouette!

This dress was sent to be as a backup size. To my surprise the 6 fit nicely. I like the color and the fact that the dress is fitted in the waist but free flowing in the skirt. The length on this dress is very appropriate for any event. I ended up going with a different dress because my husband did not care for the fit, he said the dress made me look very straight ( ie no hips or bust). I think he said this because of the color and material in the top......regardless I went with another dress for this event.

I had to send this dress back immediately even though it fit perfectly. It is much heavier and longer than it looks in the photos and is borderline 'frumpy'. The waistline hit very high on me and it was just not as form fitting as I would have liked. This would be excellent for a mother-of-the-bride or wedding but not the nautical themed party I was attending.

The dress looks way better online than in person, the material is thick and does not come across as sheer in person.

I rented this dress for a wedding but I ended up not wearing it because 1)it didn't fit as well as I wanted it to and 2) it was just an ok dress. It was not as sheer as in the picture and the material was much heavier than I thought. RTR Customer Service was great, as usual, and they promptly overnighted me another dress, which was perfect!

I received this dress when my backup size wasn't available. It ran very big. I recently had a baby so rather than being my normal 4-6 I'm more of a solid 6 these days. I received this dress in a size 6 and it was huge. Very frumpy and not as sheer as it is on the model. I couldn't wear it. So sad, I was really excited.
