I may purchase this dress. I felt so good in it! The sleeves are a bit tight due to the sleeve style, but it was okay for me. I forgot boob tape so I wore my bra with the dress with the straps super lose so I could pull the back strap down so it wasn't showing. Not ideal and would've been more comfortable otherwise but it worked for me! I sized up because of other reviews and it worked out well.

This dress is great for you when you want to look classy and chic but also make a statement!

Got so many compliments throughout the night. The only complaint I had was that the slit in the back was a little high(I’m 5’7”) I kept having to pull it down while dancing. The material is thick enough where I didn’t feel uncomfortable wearing without a bra. I did end up wearing the 0R for a more fitted look. I 100% recommend.

Such a gorgeous black dress and loved the open back and the way it fit. Would rent again!

I'm 6 months postpartum and still not quite fitting into my normal clothes so I decided to RTR for the first time. I wore this to present at a conference and it was absolute perfection. I received so many compliments that I'm considering buying it. Elegant, polished, and SUPER comfortable. It also transitioned easily to the evening events I had to attend. Would absolutely wear this again!

I loved this dress! It's super flattering with a sexy back. Only complaint is that the straps of the dress kept coming out in the back, so people kept coming up to me and fixing it all night. Not a huge deal! Definitely would rent again!

Loved this dress, and got tons of compliments. Sizing is somewhat generous-usually in body con styles I would size up. Size 6 and 8 didn't really feel that different. There is banding in the upper arm of the sleeves which was mildly uncomfortable over the course of the day.

I got tons of compliments on this dress because it's very unique. Not too many people come to an event with a velvet dress, and this look was very cute! My only complaint is that the top was too big, but I'm also an A cup and have the worlds largest back. So without a bust and a back to the dress to fit my body, I assumed it would feel larger. I also loved the fit of this dress. It hugs your body, but the booty has a zipper which looks the dress buttons up. Makes ur butt look A+.

The dress was perfect the zipper is a little hard to zip not crazy because of the material and stitching of the dress but the dress is true to size, I would've maybe tried a 4 R because I do like my dresses tighter but the arms were true to size. The velvet material was amazing the dress super comfortable and breathable.

I loved this dress for a NYE wedding. I found it ran a bit large- it fit in the waist but the blousy top was a bit big and wanted to fall forward off of my shoulders and it was sort of long on my short stature (5' 3''). But overall, the fabric was thick, soft, and fabulous, the low back and high slit in the back added a bit of drama and I felt really fabulous in it. FYI the low back is too low for a strapless bra and the top provides no support, but low back corset bra worked great!

This stately dress was perfect for officiating a wedding ceremony, but it ran large and I didn't have time to rent a smaller size. But i still rocked it. : )

You can't wear a bra with this dress so I opted for some boob tape and oh my Kim Kardashian! I am a boob tape believer! It was the perfect thing for this dress so I could enjoy the low cut back and not feel uncomfortable.

Will probably purchase this dress for other occasions. Way too revealing for the work event I rented it for. Slit in the back was very high. Loved the dress and the style! Velvet is definitely not for summer though. Love the dress- just didn't work out for what I rented it for.

Absolutely adore this dress!! The material is luxe and very comfortable. The lines and draping hit just in all the right places to accentuate a feminine body type just beautifully. The color is a rich black and the velvet is smooth and good quality. The drape on the back with the slit is perfection. Absolutely will rent again. Perfect for a winter night.

The 6R fit great except for the shoulders.

I didn't wear this dress because the fit was not good for me. Shoulders do not stay in place - you would always worry about keeping them in place. Can't wear a regular bra, so that's another huge negative (because you can't even pin the shoulders to the bra strap to keep it in place). I got it to wear to NY eve party, but honestly... this dress is more suited for a funeral. Didn't work for me at all.

This dress was too large in the top and looked like a baggy sweatshirt. Sending back for another style.

Pros- everything. This dress fit me like a glove. I've never received SO many compliments than I did the night I wore this. The velvet material is so soft and fun to touch. We were in Tahoe in Nov, so very cold and this dress worked perfectly for that. Cons- ZERO

Gorgeous dress, but i definitely didn't realize it was velvet and more of a cocktail dress til it arrived. Too dressy for work for sure. Was going to wear to a PM work event but this is definitely cocktail attire. It's gorgeous and was a good fit. Not a great dress for a pear shape. I’m smaller up top so need things fitted there to look smaller and balanced. This top is loose and blousy. Would work great if you are more voluptuous up top.

This is a beautiful dress, I think fits TTS. One note, its completely backless which I found difficult to see from photos. Blousy fit on top, fitted on bottom-it almost fits like two pieces. Black velour makes it more elegant. Wore to a more casual fall wedding and felt slightly overdressed-maybe more appropriate come winter.

The dress is beautiful and flattering. However for busty women who do not love strapless bras, you definitely need a low back bra. The shoulders are more off then on
