Ton's of compliments on this dress. The color is a bit of an orangey-tomato red vs. the deeper red shown on the model photo IMO. The material, by design is a "dull" cotton and is a bit more casual. This dress was perfect for my fancy work BBQ, the material was perfect for the heat. I saw other reviews about the chest being tight and I think it was tight. It was not uncomfortable, but definitely snug on the top. I usually wear a 12 and the 14 fit snug. I loved the pockets and the eyelet details were very nice!

This dress was the best! I've rented a lot from RTR and this was the most flattering and comfortable dress I've ever gotten. I wore it to graduation and it was absolutely perfect. The pockets are a huge plus. And the fabric is just the right weight and really soft. I seriously thought about keeping the dress and just paying the outrageous RTR fee!

I rented this dress for my Halloween contest. I was a "pop art subject" and wanted primary colors. The dress was adorable but super small. I ordered a 2 and a 4 as my backup due to the other reviews suggesting you size up. I could barely zip up the 4 and couldn't take a deep breath. Would have been better off in a 6. It's extremely small in the bust and there is no stretch to this fabric. I'm 5'3', about 120 right now. My busy is 34C. Definitely go up! It's a very cute casual dress though. Love the pockets!

I loved wearing this dress for the main reason that it was so so comfortable & colorful! I got many compliments! The dress does run small & I worried about the snug bodice. However, I think if I would have gotten the next size up, it would've been too loose & not as flattering. I highly recommend it!

I wore this dress to the 50th wedding anniversary party for my husband's aunt and uncle. It was definitely an older crowd and I felt stylish and sexy in this dress but not inappropriate. Now for the dress details: I loved the subtle eyelet and seaming details and the way the waist was really flattering. I do want to warn larger chested women that you will want to go up a size. The size 10 zipped about halfway with no problem but really squished my bust and was almost impossible to zip all the way up. Even the 12 felt a little tight but more in a very well tailored dress not in a corset-kind of way. I am contemplating renting this dress again for a rehearsal dinner later this month.

I picked this dress to wear out for my birthday; I needed something cute, but not crazy dressy -- and this dress delivers. I LOVED the pockets and the little peep-hole stictching. It's cotten, whic is perfect for Houston's warm spring weather. it's extremely flattering, fitted at the bust and waist, with a great flare to the skirt. We were heading to a tiki bar, so it was the perfect backdrop for the silk hair flowers and the funny hula girl cotton purse. What I did not love was that the dress runs a little small. Usually, I wear a 12, and the 12 in this dress was pretty tight. The 14, which I wore, had a little more give, but there was still some constraint in the bust. It's able to be worn with a regular bra, which is excellent, and the bold primary color makes it a terrific canvas for all sorts of dress up or more casual looks. I really recommend it, but fuller-busted women beware...you'll likely need a larger size than you think.

Definitely a little snug around the chest area but the rest of the fit was perfect. The color was more of a coral than a red but was still absolutely stunning. The coral color looks perfect with turquoise accessories. Received a ton of compliments on my first rental!

It is a very casual fabric but the details make it luxurious--the outfit could be dressed up or dressed down. I found the chest to be tight even in the larger size that I ordered, and I'm only a 34C. It was also too short for me (at my height and my age). But I wore it with tights and had a nice dinner out in the dress. This dress was sent to me as a back-up dress because my original choice could only be sent in one size. I was able to wear the original choice to my work function and this I wore for a date night with my husband. It was fun to wear and I might consider renting it again in an even larger size (2 sizes up from my normal size) for a casual event.

This was supposed to be my backup dress for a wedding, my original choice was spectacular so I didn't have to wear this one -- although I couldn't have even if I wanted to. It runs VERY small. I'm a true 12. Reading other readers comments I ordered the 14, and it still hardly zipped up. My boobs looked smushed and I could hardly breathe. Additionally, I think the dress I got should be retired, it was incredibly faded. The material is not for a fancy event - more for summer garden wedding / party.

This dress is a great casual dress. The perfect length for this tall gal and cheery color. It also has a great flattering fit with just the right amount of structure.

I ordered this dress for my 12 year old step daughter for a wedding. It looked amazing on her. She looks a lot older and has many curves. This dress did not make her look older, it made her look like a beautiful young lady!

This dress was rented for my graduate school commencement. It was a day full of outdoor activities that spilled into the night, and this dress was perfect. It was very tight in the bust, but I am large chested and experience this issue often. However, you couldn't tell once I had the dress on. The flare at the waist was perfect for a large-hipped gal such as myself. I appreciated the vibrant color and the wide shoulders that combined for a modest and fun look all at once! I am definitely interested in renting this dress again!

As other reviewers have noted- this dress is pretty casual. The bust was a little tighter than I would have expected but the trim at the waist was very slimming.. The dress that I received looked a little faded (the eyelet detail was a totally different color than the rest of the dress). The color is more orangey than red. I would rent this dress again, but hope that I get one that is not as faded.

I received this item through Unlimited. I rented the dress without really an occassion to wear it and I am still not positive I will. I would have really like to wear it for work but it's about an inch or two shorter than I would like due to the see through lace/mesh at the bottom. The dress is a very casual cotton. I imagine I could dress it up with a blazer. Over all it is well structured but a little cute-sy or childish in my opinion because of the flare skirt. I would probably have worn this dress to a garden party or Easter brunch instead. I ordered my typical size (a 4) and while it zipped the bodice is very tight. This is a flattering look because it cuts right at the waist, however be aware if you have a big bust. I have a very small bust but a larger rib cage and it was tight.

The dress was perfect for an informal party. Pretty red color, but more "muted" red than shown in picture. The dress was very snug/tight across bust. If you are large "busted" don't rent this dress or go a size up. It was a fun rental. Worked perfectly for my event.

I rented this dress for a outdoor graduation party on a golf course. The pattern on the dress is super cute and has enough where all I paired was earrings and a clutch. I would agree the material is more on the casual side and light enough for a summer day. You can definitely dress this up or down for brunch or a day out.

i'm typically btwn a 2 and 4 and have worn a 4 in rachel roy with room to spare. the 4 was fine everywhere but the chest. i'm a 34C and wore it without a bra and it was incredibly uncomfortable. i would warn anyone that is my size or larger to size up or stay away. it's unfortunate because the colors, pockets, and details on this dress are great, it just didn't work for my body. hem was a couple of inches above the knee. overall, great great dress, just not for someone with more of a chest

I'm a 36DD and my chest wouldn't fit in the 14. I'm usually a 12 and thought I could get away with it if I sized up. The size advice is spot on. Even if you size up, if you're over a C, your girls aren't getting in this thing. The color is washed out anyway so I wasn't too disappointed.

I rented this for my anniversary dinner. I normally wear a size 8. So I ordered the 10 based on the fitting recommendation. When I received the dress it looked perfect for the occasion. Unfortunately it was WAY too small! I have a fairly athletic build and I think a wider frame then most women. Even at a size 8 I would say I'm a broad 8. I do cross fit and lift weights so you can imagine my frame. I'm also a 36 D. I think these were all players as to why the dress didn't fit. I just couldn't get it to zip up once it got past my waist and was at my ribs and chest. I think if you have a more narrow frame a and normally a size 8 a 10 would work. If you aren't sure just order a size up for your back up. I didn't get a back up because I got this through the unlimited membership and there was no back up option. Hope this helps!

I rented this for my birthday. It was casual enough to wear to work but cute enough to wear out for drinks after work. I ordered the 10 and the 12 and could barely fit into the 12. I had read that it was small through the ribs, but I'm pretty small there so I thought I'd be ok. What I hadn't read was how small this was in the bust. I'm pretty busty so this is a fairly common problem, but geez... tight! Barely zip up, boobs squashed, hard to breathe tight. It was a cute casual dress. I would recommend for smaller busted women for a casual event.

This was sent as a backup dress when my original dress wasn't available. While I love the style, the fit was bigger than expected in the bust and showed the sides of the bra. The cutouts are also more detailed and noticeable in person and more of a bright red. This would be great for an outdoor event or wedding in the summer or spring

This would be a perfect dress for a casual day event. The material is cotton and not as bright red as picture. I ignored the other reviews and had to order a different dress. Luckily RTR is very accommodating!

I rented this for engagement photos. I ordered a size 6 and 4. The 6 was a little tight around my arms, but otherwise fit just right. There was no way I would fit into the 4. The color is a little bit more orangey red than red red, but it still looked beautiful and bright.
