Style and fit were excellent!

I wore this dress to a charity event and received so many compliments. The fabric has a small amount of stretch and fit me like a glove. The length was perfect and I liked the gold detail. I thought I was going to need the 6 since reviews said it runs a bit small but the 4 fit and looked a lot better. Would definitely rent again.

Runs fairly true to size- I tend to wear a 0 or 2 so I ordered the 2 and 4 to be safe. It is a bit snug but hit me in the right spots. I have a shorter torso with smaller upper body so can see if you are more top heavy how it could be right. Overall I loved it, perfect mix of classic but fashionable.

I wore this dress for my company's annual meeting. I wanted something that was flattering yet not over the top revealing. This dress hugged my curves and made me feel sexy yet professional. It was very comfortable and wrinkle resistant. I had to move around a lot because I was hosting. It had enough give to move with me yet not lose it's shape. Perfect for a late night work function! The only down side is that it was tight around the arms and shoulders.However, I'm a bodybuilder so this is always an issue for me if I wear sleeves.

Perfect length. Makes you look skinny

The shoulders on this dress were very narrow so that's why I had to size up otherwise dress was a good fit. Fabric had a little stretch to it so easy to move around. Just a heads up the zipper in the back did keep getting caught on my hair so I would recommend wearing your hair all the way up.

This dress fit like a glove. I am pear shaped and was expecting to need a size 6 for the right fit thru my hips. The dress was a little loose on the top and a little snug on the bottom but nothing a pair of spanx couldn't fix. This dress fit just as I thought it would based on others reviews. If you are wider in the hips definitely order a size up as your backup size. This dress was perfect for a fall wedding! The sleeve length was a bit long on me and hit me below the elbow, but I just tucked the sleeve under to make it a little shorter for the look I wanted.

Fit tight to the body. Material is a little stretchy. Hem line hit just below the knee. Loved it!

Fit really well, a bit long-waisted, which another reviewer noted. I don't like clothes to fit tightly, so I'm glad I went up a size since the dress is form-fitting and I usually wear a 10 or 12. Would definitely wear this dress again.

This dress fit great, perfect with black glitter heels on NYE. Super comfy, it has a narrow skirt opening, which is exactly what I was looking for! Fit like a glove. The black and gold trend tends to be a little much for me, but there wasn't too much gold in this dress. Sometimes I have issues with bust due to the proportion to my frame. I wore a standard bra with this dress. Perfect!

I loved this dress! I can say the only thing I didn't like was the shoulder pads but it wasn't a huge deal! I would def order again or recommend this dress!! :-)

I always wear a 4, but this was a little snug on me. I should have requested the free second size. The cut and length was perfect for my work party. I always struggle trying to find the perfect work party dress! I'm the youngest director in my office, and I don't want to dress too young or too old. This was perfect!

Wore this to a formal holiday party & it was the perfect blend of class & sass. Sleeves were a bit long on me but was able to cuff them up and it was a non-issue. Also, I am 5'6 and felt the length was right on the verge of too long on my frame (if you were any shorter this would be something to consider). I ended up wearing a size 6 as a 130-135lb woman who has more of an hourglass figure. The material is nice but not super thick so as a gal who's carried two babies, Spanx were necessary! ;)

I absolutely love Rachel Roy dresses because I feel they perfectly compliment a woman's body. I know know how they fit, so I know what size to get. They do tend to run a tad on the small side, so make sure to size up for your back up. I wore this dress on a date and the mix of dressy plus body/curve hugging was perfect and I felt really pretty. The only con was a previous wearer had torn the back slit up the seam and did a terrible sew up job to fix it. I didn't notice till I went to put the dress on, so there wasn't anything I could do about it. The stitch job came undone as I wore it, but no one really noticed and it wasn't the biggest deal.

The dress is a little big (I should have went with a four instead of a 6) and it is a little long so I ended up tucking in the bottom. I wore it to my gymnastics formal and got a tonnn of compliments on it! I was easy to dance in and looked good in all the photos. Definitely perfect for those who want a more formal dress to wear.

Definitely runs small! I was lucky I rented the 10 as my back up! The 8 fit but I wouldn't have been able to dance and enjoy myself.

I rented this as a back up and ended up liking it way more than I thought I would. It was very classy because of the cut (longer pencil length skirt), but also sexy because of how it hugs your curves. I am very athletic and have muscular arms so the sleeves were a tad tight, but overall it felt true to size as I am usually a 4 sometimes 2.

This was my second RTR experience and again it was great. This dress fit very well and although it was a little plain, it was a classic black dress that could be worn to any event. I ordered a 0 and a 2 and ended up going with the 2 which is my normal size. The dress is a little bit long, I'm 5'6 and it came to the very top of my knees, so I wouldn't recommend if you are shorter. Otherwise the dress was great!

This was a really nice dress. I wanted something with sleeves, but still figure-flattering. The dress is very form fitting, so although I usually end up wearing my back up size 2 in a lot of dresses, this time I had to wear the 4. I have a fairly large chest, and although the dress was form fitting, I had plenty of room up top. I think spanx is key for this one. Overall great dress and felt wonderful in it.

This dress was perfect for the Black Tie wedding I attended in New York. It was actually my alternate dress but became the front runner once I tried it on. The fit is pretty snug as it's a pencil-style skirt but it is actually really comfortable.

My first time using RTR I was worried it might have looked worn but it did not. The fit is true to size however as noted the torso is kind of long. It's hard to tell in the picture bc it's black but yes the back part does kind of scrunch together when you sit but other than this dress was on point. I had high expectations that's why I rated 4 out of 5

I was so happy I ordered a size up. Could not begin to get into the 4 which is my usual size. The 6 was snug but comfortable. I did wear Spanx hose with it, fyi. I did like the dress and would recommend but with the size caveat.

This is a very pretty dress. Well made and slimming. I felt the dress ran small in the arm area, which is why I wore the size 12. Spanx helped a lot to keep the dress smooth, however after sitting/ standing, I found myself pulling the dress down, as it seems to ride up a bit. I received many compliments and felt great overall. Had I had a more room in the upper arm area, it would have been perfect.

I rented for a rehearsal dinner and I wore the dress but the fit wasn't perfect on me. It was a little tight in the butt and loose around the waist..

I rented this for a dinner and dance gala and it fit beautifully. It complemented my curves without being too tight. The material was thick, perfect for fall

This dress is more reserved than I normally wear but the formal black tie event I attended was for work and I wanted to be more conservative. The dress fit a bit small for this style but I have a larger bust so that may be the issue. However, I usually order up for my backup size and the 8 gave me just enough breathing room to look nicer. The material is kind of rough, I found it a bit uncomfortable, but it provides good structure for the dress. I definitely consider this a winter/cold weather style.

Fit great, warm and comfortable

It is soft, and comfortable. I thought the dress wound be binding since some reviewers said it ran small but I thought it was perfectly fit than the last size 4 (that ran small) dress I rented. Even though the dress covers a lot, you won't feel boring in this dress. I received lots of compliments and felt fabulous.

This dress fits small. I am 5'2 and a TRUE 110 lbs. I usually wear a 4 but ordered the 6 as well to be sure it should fit. I read the feedback from others feeling confident I would be ok when others weighed 125 lbs plus. I just am scratching my head at how it fit any one who weighed more then me when I couldn't even wear it. Take warning, Order larger sizes. I'm guessing the 8 would have fit!

Fits amazing!! I'm 5'1" and it hit right at my knee. The material is very form-fitting which was amazing!

Form fitting but yet perfect for a gala with lots of my colleagues. It's attractive, sexy and still conservative. Get a size up for your back up size.

The dress fit perfectly and I received many compliments on it. As other reviewers have noted, it runs a full size small. I usually wear a 10 and the 12 was almost too snug. My advice is to order a size larger than normal and have the free back-up size two sizes larger. I probably would have worn a 14, but I was sent a size 8 for my back-up size.

love this dress bc its perfect for a winter wedding, made me look thin (i had on spanx also) and was really flattering. the lace detail is really pretty and adds a little something to your classic LBD. deff rent this

very tight fit - hugged my body in all the right places. It was a little too tight in the shoulder area (couldn't really raise my hands above my head & had to get someone else to zip up the back) but it was still worth it to wear. Wasn't too flashy and could have been worn to a more formal affair. I would rent this dress again in the future!

Really pretty, but not for someone with less than a perfect body. It revealed every lump and bulge. I'm sure I'm being over critical because I am extremely self conscious since I've gained weight. If you are comfortable in your body, it really is classy dress!

I am 5'4" tall and usually wear a size 2 and the 2 in this dress fit perfectly. I was happy that it wasn't too short.....on me it hit right at the knee. Someone in another review mentioned that this dress has shoulder pads, which almost made me not order it - but I'm so glad I did - the shoulder pads are really small and unnoticeable and help the dress look like its more constructed. I wore this for a large fund raising event and it was perfect, not too dressy.

I absolutely loved this dress. It was overall comfortable. It's very form fitting but isn't one of the types of materials that "shows all your flaws", so this was perfect. I got several compliments on the style! Just make sure to order a size up when requesting both of your sizes in your order.
