STYLIST REVIEW

This dress was so well made and SO comfortable! Definitely runs big, so size down for your free backup. It brushed about mid-knee on me as well. Its pretty roomy everywhere, so this would be good for curvier women, and just about any body type! Can't beat the gorgeous cool blue color- would look awesome with nude pumps.

Beautiful color, great party dress!

This dress was not my original pick, but the dress I ordered was damaged by the previous renter, and the stylist sent me this instead hoping I'd be okay with it. Great color, and unique cut. It did gape around my arms at times showing my bra, which was a bummer to see in photos, but it didn't have too big of an impact on my night. I was the guest of honor at my going away party, so I had to give a speech and felt comfortable in this dress in front of 100 people.

The vibrant color stood out among the crowd; networking handshakes turned into welcoming embraces

I skimmed through the other reviews prior to renting (thanks girls!) and I found it definitely had a unique fit. Built best for "regular" builds (meaning not quite petite, not quite plus), I recommend spanx as it's very fitted at the waist and the back should wear smoothly (which it barely did for me). Also, keep in mind to wear a t-shirt friendly demi/push-up bra - the dress kept sticking to my incredible bra so I had to readjust once in a while. The skirt overlay is so cute, be mindful to sit properly though - it will spread and open up when seated - ain't nobody got time for unladylike posture.

Gorgeous color and very business chic!

I got two sizes ( a 0 and a 2) and ended up with the 0. I couldn't tell you the last time I'd worn a 0 so I'd say this dress runs a little large. The color was absolutely stunning and the hem hit right above my knee. I would worn that there's a slit up the front that can get a little risque when sitting. Overall loved the dress and didn't want to have to return it!

I wanted to love it, but...

All of the previous reviews were right... The top is weirdly-cut and not very flattering on me. The dress is sewn together at the top of the V, but then it's still allowed to drape after, leaving the closure clearly visible and distracting. The bottom is very cool, and the color is amazing! Wanted to wear it for a rehearsal, but ended up wearing a different dress because of the top.

Nice Color

I'd say that this dress was mediocre. The color was beautiful, and though I still received quite a few compliments, I just wasn't crazy over the dress. The v-neck was tacked at the top, but then the rest of it was loose, so although the top stayed together, I still felt as though I needed to wear a white tank top underneath it to avoid any accidental exposure. The hem of the dress had wrap-dress feel to it, so when I sat down I had to be a little careful that I wasn't showing off more than I had intended. Overall, the dress still served its purpose, and it was certainly nicer than anything that I had existing in my closet :)

Loved the color, but it just didn't work.

This dress was just weird somehow. It gaped in some places, was pulling in others. The write up said it ran big, but I ended up wearing my second (bigger) size, which I basically never seem to end up having to do. The smaller size zippered easily, but the skirt just didn't lay nicely in either size, and seemed to look tuggy in the front even when it laid nicely from the back. And, the top gaped and hung loose in an odd way. It just looked like a sloppy wrap dress that I couldn't get to lay quite right. I wore it to work anyway, but I was self-conscious all day.

Great color and fit

I wore this dress to a family friend's wedding. It was totally appropriate when standing but I should mention that sitting and not flashing too much thigh is a tricky situation. I had to sit sideways and hold the dress flap whenever sitting with my legs showing. The dress was a beautiful color and it was cut very well. Very comfortable and well made.

Nice dress, I should have worn it in a 6

This was my back up dress so I only got the one size. Needed to wear it and really should of had a 6 instead of the 4. So had some fit issues, but probably due to the too-small size. The waist should really be at the natural waist, since I was a little short on space, it rode up a bit and made it where the straps were too loose, and it gapped oddly at the chest. Again, probably due to my wrong size choice. It looked good when laying right, but I fiddled with it alot to make it work. Very bright color

Pretty color, boring style

The dress was OK, but nothing special or interesting. The front of the dress was held together with one single stitch, which became loose during dinner and then opened up to expose my bra. Embarassing! It looks better with a thin belt around the waist, which is not included. Not my favorite RTR.

This was a backup dress

RTR ended up sending this dress to me because they didn't have the Shoshonna dress I really wanted to wear, which was a bummer, because I wasn't a huge fan of this dress. The top ran very very big on me, and even thought the waist fit okay, the top completely fell off my shoulders, and the v neck went so low you could see every little thing. I did like the fit of the bottom however, the uneven hem made it feel a little special, and the color is very beautiful. I think this dress would work better on bigger busted ladies!

Could see my whole chest area...

Just didn't fit right up top. Too bad because it was a great color!
