Rachel Roy makes fantastic professional attire that has a bit of pizazz. This dress was incredibly flattering and comfortable (it's not the best photo... sorry!). The slit was something to be conscious of when sitting, but was totally appropriate when standing. I wore this for a work presentation in DC and stood out from the crowd of dark suits & dresses. With a black blazer, you could definitely do this for Fall. Highly recommend.

This dress fit beautifully. It was snug enough to show curves and yet not revealing. Elegantly classic. I had some issues with dress but RTR was great to work with. They made it right. All in all a great experience! Would love to own this dress!

Rented a size 4 & 6, wasn't sure which I'd be (since I had a baby 4 months prior!), I think fit is key, especially for a sheath dress! I ended up wearing the 4, I actually thought it was close to perfect, fitted through the hips and just the tiniest bit loose around the waist. I love the color of this dress, it's just gorgeous, makes it look very sophisticated and rich. I agree with other reviews that the front slit is a little high and you have to be careful with sitting. Just something to be aware of. I accessorized my look with mirrored rose gold heels and my sweet daughter (in a coordinating dress, naturally). I'd recommend this dress! Perfect for my sister's rehearsal dinner!

I rented this dress for a special awards luncheon honoring my husband's volunteer efforts. It was a perfect choice, conservative enough for a mid-day event but still sexy! The color is amazing! Highly recommend.

I wore this dress for a non-profit's gala. I received tons of compliments on the color, which is a really saturated pink, and the style. I normally wear a 2 or a 4, depending on the cut, and I wore the 4 in this dress and it fit well. The waist was a little loose while the bottom fit perfectly, but it looked good regardless. With a more distinct hourglass, it may be hard to find the right size.

This is my absolute favorite RTR dress ever! The color is amazing - a deep pink/purple that is very bright and rich and fresh and trendy. It has a touch of structured peplum at the waist, and a sexy slit up the middle. The slit is a little too high to wear at work in my opinion, and you show quite a bit of leg when you sit down, but for a wedding, cocktail party or a date this dress would steal the show! I received tons of compliments when I wore it and felt like a queen!

Was excited to wear this Rachel Roy dress to a wedding at the Olde Pink House in Savannah! It is a fun and vibrant shade of pink. I loved the clean neckline and the peplum. It was slightly long but the slit in front made up for this "conservative" dress (be careful when crossing/uncrossing your legs lest you pull a "Basic Instinct" move!). I received nice compliments on the color and fit of this dress; I would definitely rent it again!

I wore this dress to my nieces Christening. RTR did not have the 4, so I took the 2 as a back up option and ended up wearing it. The fabric has stretch, so I probably would have gone with the 4 if I had it, but it still worked. This dress was pretty, but I did think the slit up the front came too high.

unfortunately the event got cancelled but it was the most amazing fit! this is definitely going to be my "go-to" dress to rent. everyone should rent it.

This is my new favorite dress. If I could have bought it I would have. I ordered both the 2 and 4 and could have worn either, but felt more comfortable in the 4 so I went with that. The color is a gorgeous purple, the length is right at the knee but still is sexy. I will definitely rent this again!!

I wore this to a work event which was rather conservative and received many compliments on it. The color is beautiful and very flattering for all skin tones. The dress was somewhat fitted, but there is a nice stretch to the dress that makes it really move with your body and not constricting at all. I will most likely rent this dress again.

I just had a baby and needed a dress for a wedding. I'm 5'4 and 120 lbs right now and I have to say post baby this dress fit like a glove and I felt great in it. Love the color and fit. Just be careful when sitting down the slit goes up a little higher then I thought it would. Overall I loved it and would rent it again!

How I LOVE this dress!!! I wore it with some nude patent pumps along with a chunky Kate Spade necklace. It makes me so sad to return it because it's a type of dress that every woman should have or own in their closet.

I loved this dress! I wore it to my daughter's baptism and it was elegant and very feminine. I got loads of compliments. The color is actually more of a purple pink that I thought was ever prettier than the shade in the photo. I was a little worried it would be an awkward length on me because I am shorter than the model, but I it hit right below my knee. My first rental and it went great. I highly recommend this dress!

Rented this dress to go to the opera with a friend. It is stunning - passes as a transition from work so that it doesn't look "too evening" but the gorgeous color and great cut make it truly stand out, particularly in a sea of LBDs. At intermission, many people came over to say "I love your dress."

This is an amazing shift dress that is appropriate for a dressy or festive work party. It's modest in that it comes to the knees and doesn't show cleavage, but it's flattering and the color is very fun. Received tons of compliments. Wore with black pointed kate spade pumps and a couple bangles with some bling. Felt a little bit like Madonna in the material Girl video, which I loved.

Great, form fitting dress. Beautiful lines. I'm tall 5'11" to be specific, and this was gorgeous.

I am a bit pear-shaped, so couldn't get a great fit with this but loved the color! The 0 fit great ontop but was then just a bit too snug across the hips. The 2 was a great fit on the bottom but left me with big gaps around the armpits because it was too big on top. The pear-shaped curse strikes again:) Also would say this is more appropriate for a business function vs. a wedding or social event. If you do wear to a social, party-type event then I think you would definitely need to add some accessories to punch up the look!

I wore this dress to a work event. II ordered an 8 and a 10 and was a little worried that I should've ordered a 6 and 8, but when the dresses arrived I tried on the 8 and it fit PERFECTLY. The color was a little more purple than it looked online (I would call it "berry"). I got so many compliments - most everyone else was in black.

I wore this dress to a cocktail party for work. I knew I would be standing the entire time and wouldn't have to worry about the slit...good thing. That slit is tough, it is high and does not give much room! The dress is great and a beautiful color. I paired it with gold and turquoise jewelry and it looked great. This was my first "Rent the Runway" rental and I am excited to try more!
