For a dress made of sweater material, it sure is tight and SHORT! I had to be really conscious of my actions that evening so that I didn't flash anybody, but I got a lot of compliments. Make sure to suck it in or wear a slimmer!

This is a year late as I wore this dress for my birthday last January, but I found this photo and I just needed to say something. This dress was amazing. Perfect. My boyfriend was in awe from the moment I put it on. I wore this to a formal dinner and for exploring Manhattan afterward - got compliments everywhere we went! The fit was amazing, hugging every curve perfectly without flattening (plus you can obviously wear a bra with this) or making you feel too constricted (unless you eat a huge steak dinner which can make it a little more so, but while still looking great). Also, the material is on the thicker side, but it makes for an ideal winter dress. Another reason I'm posting this now is because my birthday is in a few weeks and I'm planning on getting this again! I'm going to be trying something new, but this is my backup dress because I know that wearing it again would absolutely make my night.

Wore this to my family's formal Christmas Eve dinner. It was so cute, the color was perfect for the holiday, and it was a respectable cut of dress that is appropriate to wear in front of your grandmother. The dress was very flattering at the beginning night, but after a huge Christmas Eve dinner, I definitely feared my food baby was making an appearance. The sizes were not actually labeled on the dresses, but I think I wore a medium (I usually wear a small).

This dress was amazing on and very flattering! The material is stretchy and comfortable. It hugs you in all the right places. I wore it to a Rehearsal Dinner around Christmas time and it was a huge hit!

I loved this dress. I rented it for my birthday and felt beautiful. It fit wonderfully. The material is kind of thick so it's definitely better for colder weather. This is my third rental and I swear they just keep getting better!

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner for a May wedding. I loved it, and wish I could keep it! The design is interesting but not overwhelming, and very flattering. It can be dressed up or down. The dress is definitely tight (I could have worn either XS or S), so I wouldn't recommend it if you're planning on walking or dancing much, as you will have to keep pulling it down all night. I also wouldn't recommend it if you're tall, since then it might look inappropriately short. If you're looking for something fitted, original, and sharp, definitely go for it!

I got so many compliments on this dress all night. It was actually perfect. I didn't expect the dress to be so tight. It was sort of bodycon but I absolutely loved it. I would recommend this dress to anyone. It was perfect for my date party night in my sorority.

I wore this dress to a family get together (at Ruth's Chris steakhouse) on St. Patrick's day. I love this dress! It was sexy but still very comfortable to wear. It was tight enough to suck everything in without slipping up in the back. I didn't have to spend the night pulling the dress down. It stayed right in place, even when I was sitting down. I ordered the XS and S, since I had never worn this brand before. The XS fit me perfectly! Since it was St. Patrick's day I accessorized with gold jewelry, gold shoes, and a gold clutch - they looked great with this dress! I would definitely rent this dress again! The dress is made from very high quality fabric, the colors and detail are gorgeous, and it really flatters curves.

I wore this dress to a holiday party. It was cold outside and the event had an outdoor component, so the dress--with its thick material and long sleeves--was perfect. The detail was so beautiful, too. Many compliments. I also rented the necklace worn by the model because I liked the combination so much.

It's very form-fitting and sexy, yet the design and thick fabric make it sophisticated and good for winter. I wore the XS because I was wearing it with tights and boots (in a snowstorm!) and wanted it to be short, but I am 5'5 and would have worn the S if I was going bare-legged.

This dress was everything I hoped it would be and more. I ordered the medium and large but felt the medium ultimately looked the best. The fabric is very thick but I never felt hot. It hugs at every curve but I believe the fabric and print make it very forgiving. I have three kids and I haven't felt so good in a dress in a long time!

VERY snug, it will hug every curve and I loved it! The emerald color is gorgeous. Wore it to a very fancy dinner and it was perfect.

I originally ordered the M and L, however I only received the M due to complications/damages the L had endured from the previous customer. At first try, I thought no way is this going to work. It is snug, sweater-like sheath dress. Definitely a little body con. It was brand new, so with a little stretch here and there I felt comfortable and it fit like a glove. May be a little short/ride up on taller women. Green color is beautiful. Great quality dress. Would definitely rent this one again.

I really liked this dress but it was uncomfortable for me because it rode up (making it too short) and I kept having to pull it down. I've rented other RVN dresses and not had this problem. Maybe it would have stayed in place if I had worn the M. Overall, I'm glad I wore it but I was a little uncomfortable with the length. I wouldn't rent it again.

Pleasantly surprised by this dress, since it was not a dress I originally chose. All of the dresses I received had a strange odor to them, so I had to try to air the dress out as much as possible. That sucked. I think a Small would have fit better, since the XS was a nightmare to try to get on & off, but overall I loved the fit of it. The material fit like a snug sweater & was super comfortable once it was on. It was perfect for the holiday wedding I went too. It was a pretty good first experience with Rent the runway. I will definitely rent again.

This dress is definitely tight, but hugs curves well. Being a bit taller, I ended up pulling it down a lot throughout the night but this could be alleviated by wearing tights (it was too hot in LA for me to do so). It wasn't a showstopper but definitely worked well for the event I attended.

i loved the colors of the dress - was complimented on it frequently. the fabric is thick and comfortable. I rented a medium & small - the medium was comfortable but the fabric bunched around my waist slightly so I wore the small - which was fitted but i wasn't uncomfortable. I am 5'7" ~130-135 (depending on the time of the month - this wasn't a good time), 32DD, almost always a size 6. My only complaint is that the dress is quite short and i often found myself pulling the bottom down after walking or dancing.

This dress is form-fitting yet true to size. It wasn't my favorite dress I've rented, but it was nice for a party atmosphere. I love RTR!

This dress was cute, but not a show-stopper like previous rentals. The sweater type material makes it seem a bit casual. It is very tight in the bust. I wear a 36B (debatably full A) and it was snug and had a uni-boob affect. It fit, but not comfortably and would ride up. Despite the thick fabric, I had to wear a shaper to feel comfortable, otherwise you could see an indentation from the waistband of my nylons. No control top ladies, this dress is extremely short! I wouldn't rent it again, but I'm still a fan of RTR. =)

I pulled the dress out and thought I got sent a small. The fabric is very stretchy, thick and comfortable; but, I overall thought it was too tight and short. If the occasion were different, this dress could work. It wasn't right for a family party.

Loved this dress so much I did not want to give it back! Form fitting and forgiving, but I did size up just because I tend to not be comfortable when dresses are super tight.

Tightly fitted, this dress was PERFECT for a charity dinner I attended on a cool evening. The green was so pretty and I felt comfortable all night long.

It did not arrive on time so I did not wear it. Make sure you select the next size up for your second dress as I am usually a small or medium and I would wear a large in this dress.. I am pear shaped, 5'8" and I am a solid size 8. I planned to wear it with leggings and then tights. The Medium was a skin tight curve hugger and short. I wear tight and short but for me, both together was too much without leggings or tights .My petite size zero, cousin was in town and Medium looked like it would fit her. All that being said, I thought it was a very attractive dress., The knit was substantial and I would order it again. in a large.

I wore this to the christening of my niece and to a nice celebration afterward in Washington DC. I wanted a dress I could pair with some thick, black tights since it was cold and this worked perfectly. With the tights, the length was fine, but it might be a little too short without tights for a church event. The thick fabric worked well for the cold, too, but might be too hot for a summer/spring event. The green print is beautiful and the scoop neckline in the front and back is very flattering without being too sexy. I recommend Spanx as the dress is very, very form-fitting.
