Fits like an Herve ... Perfect for hourglass shapes

Loved this dress! The material is thick so it is quite flattering and kept me pretty warm. My back up dress in a small didn't arrive so I wore the medium - my guess is that I was on the border and that I could have worn either one, depending on the look I was going for. I don't usually like sparkle, but it's the right amount of sparkle for a more formal event! I wore this to a holiday party (perfect) and on a date (slightly overdressed but it still worked.) Got lots of compliments. Dress looks kinda short in the pic because I have on heels but it wasn't too short. I'd rent this again (or even purchase!)

This dress was sparkly, sexy and perfect for a cocktail-attire holiday party! It wasn't as flashy as an all-glitter or all-sequin dress, but was festive. Warning - VERY tight and would show every bump or lump if you're self-conscious, because it really hugs curves. I couldn't even get the XS on it was so tiny. Definitely put this dress on BEFORE doing any hair, make-up or deodorant, because you have to squeeze the whole stretchy thing over your head and torso. Side note - I ordered the gold scroll RVN dress but the size S was damaged so a stylist picked this out as the "next closest thing" for me the day before. The little order issue went off without a hitch, and it ended up looking quite similar to the original style! Loved it!

I wore this dress for an office party. Usually I wear an XS, but opted to wear the next size up since it is very, very form fitting. The material is comfortable and looks high quality, I got compliments all night! The dress is WAY more sparkly than the photo lets on though.

This was my first rental experience and I'm very pleased. I went to Vegas on vacation and this dress was very comfortable. I swapped my first dress in for this one at the RTR store in the Cosmopolitan. This dress was the first one I tried on, and I knew it was the one. Very form fitting. The material is a little itchy though.

Snug but stretchy fit. I'm a shortie so it hugged around the hips and came in a little over the knees. The sleeves and shoulders were wide and didn't squeeze in my sizes which is great since I have a broad upper body. Beautiful sparkly pattern.

Ordered size Medium with a size Large backup. Was worried that with a larger chest size, a medium would ride a bit high :) So glad I did as I ended up wearing the Large to the event. The fabric was thick but super stretchy and comfortable. You didn't have to worry about panties or bra strap lines showing under the dress. The stretchy fabric was also very forgiving and perfect if you have an hourglass figure as it highlights all the right "assets". When initially ordering this, I was worried that my arms would rub on the silver sparkly stuff but it's not beaded, it's a silver thread so there were no issues there. I did find myself pulling it down occasionally after walking in it a bit but other than that, I loved the dress!

Nice snug fit with a stretch. Fit true to size. I normally wear a size 6 and curvy and this dress fit perfectly.

The fit was perfect and fabric was very thick to help hide all the problem areas. Feels tighter than most clothes I wear just because of the thick fabric but I loved the dress and got a lot of compliments on it!

This dress is very stretchy and very tight. Kind of like built in spanx which is great. The quality was good. I had to trim a couple strings that were hanging off but it was definitely good quality. I'm petite but definitely curvy with a butt and good size chest. This dress was flattering in some pictures and not so flattering at other angles. I kept reminding myself to suck in my stomach. In hindsight it probably wasn't the most flattering dress for my shape. I kinda felt like an overstuffed sausage. I think this dress is better suited for someone very slim. I had a medium sent as my backup size but it was too loose. Definitely a great dress to rent because it's too distinctive to wear more than once.

Rented this dress for our christmas party and loved it! It runs a little small but is stretchy so it has give. I ended up wearing the backup size of medium. I didnt have problems with it running up but I also wore it with tights so that might of fixed that problem. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it did smash down my chest a little bit but other than that I loved it!

I rented this dress mostly to try out Rent The Runway before renting for a friend's wedding. Not normally my style but I very much enjoyed wearing this dress. So much fun and I felt sexy (looks better on than in picture). Nice tight & thicker material held in those areas I'm not so pleased with. Like all sparkly material there was a bit of an itch. Not much and I forgot about it most of the evening but if you have very sensitive skin consider another dress or a slip (does one wear these anymore?). When going up stairs I found the skirt rode up a bit but not so much that I ever felt exposed. Rented both the M and L and honestly could have worn either. Essentially the same size even when I laid one on top of the other. I felt the M was a bit tighter/ compressing across the bust but, honestly, I could be imagining it since I knew it was the smaller size. Given the sleeves on this dress be sure to stand up straight or arm pooch can be a problem.

The dress was very comfortable and yes, very sparkly. This is definitely a mini dress, and I am pretty short. Also, the material is very thick, so just an FYI if you plan to wear it in hot weather.

Worn out in Vegas

Great design and the fit of the dress will flatter any body type. Similar to Herve Leger dresses the RVN was perfect for a night out in Vegas. We went from a formal dinner to the casino and then out. It fit every occasion and was the perfect amount of sexy/elegant

I loved wearing this dress. It is heavy weight fabric and very form fitting.

Was a little tight, but the store didn't have the next size up available when I needed it. A little scratchy, but for just one night it was tolerable. Otherwise I felt great in it and got tons of compliments.

runs a little small, but doable. I am 5'9" and this felt really short to me. My event was a work industry cocktail party/awards show and there was no way I was getting up on a stage in front of 250 with a dress this short. I ended up going with a vintage Halston wrap in my closet while renting some big chucky jewelry. The model in the picture must be around 5'6" because it was about 3 inches above where it hits her on the thigh.

The dress is very pretty and sparkly however I think that it would look best on someone who is tall or has a long torso. The dress was very tight in the stomach area and loose on the top portion. Unfortunately I was unable to wear it.

This dress was perfect for the hourglass figure. It fit like a glove!! Looked amazing in pictures (sorry I don't have one!) would rent a million times!

It was form fitting, but it hides any bulges, as it is a thicker fabric, keep that in mind if you're going to be outdoors...!

Wore for my bachelorette party :) Great dress - fit great and had fabric that sucked you all in. I didn't get as many compliments as other RTR dresses because it wasn't as flashy, but I definitely turned heads!

This dress really does run small. The fabric is thick so no worries about lines and certainly no need for Spanx. Love that the pattern goes all the way around! It is much more glittery in person than the pictures.

This is a heavy knit dress that fits like a glove. The design is silver thread. My dress had slight fraying of the silver thread, but the dress is extremely flattering.
