Dress is short - I'm 5'1 and the dress was mid thigh. I did not pull at it constantly but It did ride up when I stood up after sitting for a while. I stayed away from stairs the entire night. The material was soft and thick. You can feel the pattern -- sort of 2D. The dress fits like a glove -- great when wearing but difficult to take off especially with makeup. Overall, I was satisfied with the rental.

I got this for a night out in Miami!! It was very comfortable and prefect for the occasion. I definitely had to wear spanks but i overall loved the dress!

I am short and petite (very narrow shoulder and small rib cage). I get almost everything hemmed and therefore have trouble choosing dresses to rent because of length. This dress however, was perfect length on my curvy 5'3 body. It was so comfortable, and while it appears to be tight, it holds you in without being uncomfortable.. I would definitely recommend this and will probably rent it again.

The dress fit like a glove and the pattern was very flattering. I didn't bother trying the small on when they arrived because it looked itty bitty. It was super comfortable to sit in through a few hours of graduation ceremonies and I could move in it easily. One slight drawback was that it rides up if you do a lot of walking. Overall, I felt the dress was well made and fun to wear and I got a ton of compliments on it.

I ordered a small and a medium. I normally wear a small but I read that the dress did run tight. I ended up wearing the medium. I was very comfortable all night and received many complements. I was very pleased with the dress!!

This was my birthday (dancing) dress. I am traditionally a 0-2, but have 32DD breast so sometimes I have to wear a 4. I am 5'1". I ordered both the XS and S, and opted for the S because it wasn't as tight around the armpits, and if I had been sitting all night I would have worn that one. However, dancing for me requires hands up! It was very stretchy and tight in all the right places. It was cold out, so I opted for black tights in order to stay warm. I wore simple earring to keep the focus on the dress and my hair in a side bun!

I wore this for a bachelorette party and it was a lot of fun. I wore the medium (which is a first for me with RTR) but I'm glad I did. The small was tiny - I can't imagine what the XS looked like! The fabric did stretch but I feel like if I would have worn the smaller size it would have emphasized my flaws so I swallowed my pride and wore the medium. I was comfortable all night and the dress didn't ride up much so I was free to dance the night away and forget about messing with my dress.

I rented this dress for a sorority date night, and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely order this dress if you want to standout! I ordered a XS and S, but ended up wearing the S. The dress is pretty tight, so I went with the bigger size so I had a little bit more room to breathe. Put the dress on before you do your hair and make up!

Loved this dress. The Medium fit great but was a little worn at the bottom, so I went with the Large which sat smoother and was also a bit longer because the dress rides up a lot when you walk. It was extremely flattering and I got tons of compliments! I want to own it I loved it that much!

Great dress! Got lots of compliments on it. I ordered a small and extra small, and the small was quite snug on me. I was still able to wear it but could have probably gone up to a medium. Fun to accessorize with colorful shoes and jewelry!

Defiantly order a size bigger than you usually are & see which one feels best. Went with the small bc it was tighter and didn't rid up as much. Loved that it showed off my figure and you can match it with almost any color you desire! Wore this for my homecoming dance,lots of good comments:)

This dress is tight but comfortable, and the fabric is thick and sturdy and really holds your problem areas in. Super flattering and got tons of compliments. I wore a statement necklace with it which really helps the neckline out.

Loved it! I ordered the medium and large and there wasn't really a discernible difference to me- I wore the large just to be safe after a few beers :) It was definitely a snug fit- i worry about my stomach area but the pattern hit any bumps well, and it really hugged my curves in a flattering way. Also slightly tight in the arms...luckily I'd been going to yoga before I wore this dress.

I received plenty of compliments and the dress looks great in photos. I wore it for a friend's bachelorette party in Vegas and it was perfect. The dress is snug and but very comfortable.

The fit as described by others here is accurate -- it's a tight bandage dress and works best with a smaller chest/butt. I wore an XS but could definitely have gone with the S as well. It's a really hot dress though and makes you feel sexy. I loved it -- got a ton of compliments!

Very form fitting. Do your hair and makeup after putting it on. Reviews say size up, but I am normally a medium and kept the medium. It depends how short you want the dress to be. I wanted a little more sass so chose the smaller of the two sizes. Gorgeous dress, felt amazing in it!

I wore this to see Beyonce + Jay Z play in Houston and it was totally perfect for the occasion. The dress is super thick and all stretch, so is essentially like a wearable ace bandage that totally pulls you in, while the super geometric pattern made it even more flattering because even slight problem areas were covered. It's like how zebras work except for fashion.

Definitely a tight fit but will mold to your curves perfectly as the material is stretchy but not the "over-stretch-and-get-baggy" kind of stretch. If you don't do tight or are worried about longer length this dress isn't for you - you must be prepared to show some leg and a figure! I have fallen in love with RVN ever since I rented the white dress almost just like this one - even though the length freaked me out at first - it forced me to find a confidence I didn't know I had! And the designs are incredibly detailed and gorgeous that they take it from being a hoochie-mama mini to a designer dream-boat! I plan on renting every other dress by RVN on RTR and will be re-renting this and the white one for sure!

This dress is definitely tight! It takes a little maneuvering to get into, but once its on its snug and comfy. it definitely holds you in, in all the right places and flatters you where it should. I am obsessed with this dress!

The dress is made small. I usually were an XS but thank goodness I ordered a small as well. I could hardly breathe in the XS. The material is thick woven strenchy body con fabric. The dress is very well made. I always buy super expensive dresses for my birthday so I felt as though I had gotten a bang for my buck! I had an amazing night and although I had clearer pictures I think this picture of me in the dress represents how fun the dress really is. However, it's a tab bit short but manages to still feel classy. I didn't wear any accent jewelry except a silver watch and a silver bangleI (less is more)! I think the orange stripy heals complimented the outfit well.

Wore this to a work party at a nightclub in Atlantic City. Love the way it hugged my body and made me slim. I suggest going up a size as the dress is super tight. This was my first time trying this particular designer so I look forward to renting another RVN dress soon!

My girlfriends and I had the opportunity to visit the RTR location in the Cosmo hotel in Vegas. We all scheduled appointments for the same time and the service was fantastic. The sales associated knew exactly which dresses would suit our individual body types. I wore this little number out that same night. Very comfortable and easy to wear. This was my first RTR experience and I can't wait to use them again!!

I got the xs and the s, ended up wearing the S because with my curves the stitching stretched and became an off-white. Worked perfectly as both work function appropriate but still showed my curves. Would deff rent again. Got tons of compliments.

I wore it for a date and it was a big hit with my beau....he PROPOSED! Back to the dress, both the M and L fit, but the M was a little too tight (and I NEVER say that). The M looked too hoochie-mamma on my curves, so I opted for the large which still looked sexy but still classy. Holds everything in. Wish I owned this dress. Got compliments from total strangers.

This was my first RTR experience and I honestly couldn't have been happier. I felt like a million bucks in this little number and I was getting compliments all night long from both my friends and total strangers! The dress is definitely short like others have talked about, but I didn't mind. It fits exactly how I would expect an XS to fit. I didn't have a problem with discomfort in the arm area like other reviewers mentioned, although I could tell there was a little extra fabric on top of my shoulders (perhaps due to my smaller chest). Maybe that's why it wasn't uncomfortable under the arms? This thing definitely holds you in but I would not recommend it for someone who's self-conscious about their lower body especially given how short it is. I will say though, if you have a tummy, the pattern is so overwhelming it would definitely hide it. Ps-sorry for the poor quality photo!

I rented this dress to wear to a friend's wedding. It was a little tighter and shorter than I expected, and although I felt slightly too "clubby" for a wedding, I definitely received a lot of compliments! I was told that I looked sexy by several friends. The fabric is super think, so it hugs and hides undesirable bumps and lumps. It shapes very nicely. It did ride up slightly sometimes, so I did have to pull it down occasionally. I also love how this dress photographed, and I was so sad to have to return it! Definitely a good one!
