Wore for my 23rd birthday party - sparkly, fun off the shoulder fit and not too short which keeps it classy

Wore this to my birthday party in NYC. Felt comfortable and glam all night. Don’t wear to a dancing event because the arm range of motion is not for raising the roof. But you will feel amazing!

This dress fit me LIKE A GLOVE! I was shocked. It also was just the right length to be actually sexy (a hard find when you‘re 5‘3) The perfect mini party dress!

Fits true to size & has a built in bustier so it really holds you in. Truly a liquid sequin look making it look SO expensive.

I wore this dress to my work holiday party at a 5 star hotel. I needed something glamorous and festive that also fit my normal aesthetic (I wear a lot of black and little else!). This dress fit the bill. It is very well made and feels expensive. It has a non-slip lining at the top and built-in boning at the waist to keep you cinched in (and as a result, you more than likely will not need to wear a bra with this, despite the strapless style, even if you have a large bust). The sequins felt securely attached, so I didn't worry about snagging my coat or tights or accidentally ripping any sequins off. Because of the dress's design and fit, I could not lift my arms up very high, so I suggest skipping this dress if you're looking for something for a high-movement event with lots of dancing. As for fit - I think this dress runs a little large as I don't normally wear an XS. I checked the size guide on retrofete's website before reserving this dress and was between multiple sizes (bust fit M/L, waist fit XS, and hip fit S), so I was a little nervous about the fit. Between the XS and the S, the XS fit me slightly better, so that's the size I ended up wearing. It was a little tight on the bust, but not as much as I thought it would be. I would advise sizing down if you're between sizes - however there isn't a lot of give in the waist due to the boning, so I think that's probably the most important measurement with this dress. Regarding styling - while this dress is absolutely gorgeous, I think the look really depends on how you style the dress. Without accessories it might not be as impactful. I used accessories I already had in my closet and received a ton of compliments throughout the night. This dress made me feel beautiful and bewitching. I was sad to take it off at the end of the night and am even sadder to ship it back!

Felt sexy and stunning in this lil number. Rent it! It’s mini, but pretty comfortable. I sized up to a L just to have a little more room.

This dress was super well made and well structured! The sequins make it look even better in person! I was comfortable dancing in the dress all night!

Super short

I borrowed this dress for my daughter's dance. She did not end up wearing it because it was too short on her. True to size. Recommend for petites

i found the chest & waist to be a bit big, but not unwearable! still flattering with tights and platform heels. the sequins under the arms are a bit scratchy

I wore this to a Vegas wedding at an Elvis chapel. The sequins and the cut were perfect. There were some sequins missing at the bottom, but you really couldn’t tell. It has boning so a bra wasn’t necessary.

As expected with off shoulders, this piece was quite restricting and tight on the chest. I would size up if you got anything bigger than a B/C

Wore this for a disco themed birthday party. Loved the look and got so many compliments on the dress! Only gripe is the arms are a bit limited in motion. The sequins under the pit can be scratchy when you put your arms down as well

This is one of those dresses I wish would’ve really worked out, but the arms were so restricted and it was a really short dress for tall girls and we would totally need to wear tights with this

Was between sizes and this was just a little large so didn’t wear. Seems like it should be a snug fit dress.

Fit snug - needed someone to help with the zipper (on and off lol). Looked really cute on BUT was hard to dance in because the arms are SO tight. I ended up tucking in the straps and making it a tube dress when I hit the club hehe
