I rented this for a work party that was semi formal. I didn't want anything too crazy, but I still wanted to look good. This dress was classy but cute, and a perfect length (just above my knee- and I'm 5'4"). The material is heavy, but breathable. I wore a strapless bra, but could have likely got away with a regular one. The color is nice- kind of a burgundy mixed with brown? Its a good neutral-ish color. Good for if you want to not stand out too much.I also wore with black tights and black flats. Another great dress from RTR!

This dress is so flattering but incredibly comfortable at the same time. The fabric has some stretch and hugged me perfectly. The cutouts add flirty and trendy detailing while the rest of the dress is simple. Would definitely recommend!

The only con I have for this dress was that the fabric was heavier than I thought it would be. Absolutely loved it other than that!

The dress is very thick so it was a little warm. I also have very long legs and it reached a little over mid-thigh. Otherwise, it was great and I got a lot of compliments!!

Beautiful dress. I would have worn the 6 but the hem was coming undone in the back so I chose the 8 which also fit well. It was longer than I expected but it was fine as I wore it to an office Christmas party. I would recommend this!

I needed a cute dress for my husband's company Christmas party. I chose this modest number because it had unique detailing in a thicker fabric for winter. I wasn't expecting much, but the dress exceeded my expectations. It fit perfectly, was feminine, comfortable, flattering, and pretty! My husband said it was his favorite dress yet ! I was really surprised by how many compliments I received. The neckline was my favorite! Love love loved it! I'm addicted to RTR!

Wore this to the ballet with tights and a statement necklace. I think this dress will fit best if the pleats stem out from your natural waist. I'm 5'7" and thought it fit perfectly. However, if I were shorter and the pleats started closer to my hips I could see how it might add bulk. I LOVE the cutouts and color! Once again, RTR sends a fabulous dress that I might never send back if they didn't make it so easy.

Loved this dress! As a tall girl, one of my biggest worries is whether the dress will be long enough. This was perfect! Short enough to be fun and sexy but long enough that I wasn't worried about bending over. The cutouts were so cute, and fit right over a regular bra. I forgot a strapless so ended up using double sided tape to make sure the straps didn't peep out. Didn't want to return this one!

This has been my favorite dress to rent so far. It is a beautiful fall color, the material is incredibly comfortable, and it is fun to dance in. I would suggest ordering down. The 2 fit well, but I was wondering what the 0 may have fit like. This is not the most flashy dress in the room, but it is understated and elegant. I would rent this again for sure. Looks great with a statement necklace!

I wore this to a wedding this past weekend in Cape Cod. Fits very well and true to size. I could've worn the 2 but the pleats seemed a little stretched. The 4 fit like a glove and was much more comfy. I paired it with nude ankle strap sandals and a statement necklace. Received so many compliments! The dress is great quality and the material is comfortable. I would definitely recommend for a wedding or similar event.

Was able to wear the smaller size because it was stretchy but was just a little bit long on me since I'm 5'1". Still looked gorgeous and would definitely rent again.

It fit perfectly, there was no extra fabric that made the dress look awkward. I also rented jewelry and a clutch to go with the dress. Everything looked so good together, I received many compliments throughout the night.

Rented this for a rehearsal dinner and it was stunning! First things first the maroon color was breathtaking. Paired it with nude heels and a simple gold statement necklace and felt like a star! Really good quality although the fabric is on the heavier side, so I'd recommend this more for indoor or night events, or for fall or winter. A little long on my short frame but with tall heels it worked. Another great RTR rental!

Loved the fit, fabric was stretchy & really comfortable. I'm 5'4" & the length hit just above my knee. My boyfriend loved the dress so much he told me I need to buy it! I wore it with gold jewelry & brown heels. I would suggest a strapless bra... I forgot mine at home (the event was out of town) & wish I would have had safety pins to hold my bra straps. I would definitely choose this dress again & I may need to do an online search to buy it!

I thought I would be in between a 0 or a 2 based on other reviews, but the 0 fit great. Accentuated my curves in all the right spots. I wore a strapless bra but you can wear one with straps and they would be covered. This dress looks great with a statement necklace-- brings more attention to the great shoulder cutouts!

I wore this to a winter wedding and had an amazing time wearing it! The material was a bit heavier so I was very comfortable in it at the church and at the reception. I love the cutouts and the color is a deep burgundy. The skirt was a bit fuller so it was fun to dance in but not too heavy. I would definitely rent this again!

This dress runs small. I never imagined I'd fit into a size 2! The 4 fit as well and I probably could have worn it but the 2 just fit better. I love the cut outs on the shoulder and it was very comfortable. A really nice, thick fabric. Would definitely recommend.

I loved this dress, and hated to have to return it! The fit was perfect. I'm 5'9" and the length was great for me. It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The color was true to the picture, red wine/burgundy. Might be renting this one again!

I wore this for our company Christmas party. It was easy and flattering at the same time. The shoulder cut outs made it unique and I received lots of compliments. The full cut of the skirt is easy to sit and dance in!

Good quality fabric, deifnitely flares out at the hips so wouldn't rent if you don't welcome accentuation in that area.

I ended up going with the other dress that I ordered, because it was January and this dress does have a little weight to it, but was too light for winter. Would be great for autumn or a warmer climate, not for a New England winter! Even with the slit in the straps, you can easily get away with a regular bra, if you're worried, use a piece of two sided tape to hold your bra straps in place to the dress. I was thrilled to be able to wear the size 4 (my wedding dress size) after 5 years of marriage and the birth of one child! The dress is very well fitted on the top and flares right at the hips so you actually have room if you have big hips or back-side!

I wore the dress to an October wedding. The fabric is thick and great quality. The top of the dress is fitted but the stretch in the fabric allows plenty of breathing room, and the bottom is swingy enough for some serious dancing. The maroon color is much more vibrant in person. I paired the dress with a huge statement necklace and wore my hair up so the shoulder cut-outs were visible. I got tons of compliments and really wanted to keep the dress!

I did not want to take this dress off! This dress is so comfortable that I wish I could've kept it. The shoulder cut outs are a nice touch to the dress. I personally did not need to wear a strapless bra, I was able to hide my bra straps just fine without adjustments throughout the night. Being short, the dress is longer than it is on the model and hits a little above the knee. I was fine with the length for a family Christmas party. Overall, great dress and would rent again.

This dress has a bit of stretch too it which was great. I was able to wear it with a normal bra but decided last minute to wear a strapless so I wouldn't have to worry about the straps possibly showing throughout the night. I'm a curvy girl but this dress hit in all the right places. I got a million compliments on the dress. I would definitely rent again for another winter party.

I got this as my free birthday dress after buying PRO (if you haven't purchased PRO yet, you should) and I couldn't have been more happy with the result. I first wore this to another sorority's formal philanthropy event and styled it with black tights and black heels. It made my legs look so long and lean! The second night I wore it to my own sorority's semi formal. I styled it with a turquoise statement necklace and nude heels. The necklace really popped against the dress. I cannot count all of the compliments that I received both nights. The fabric has some give to it which is really nice if you are questioning sizes. Since I'm tall it is difficult to find dresses that are long enough. This dress was the absolute perfect length! It was long enough that I didn't have to worry about it flying up but short enough to feel sexy. I only wish I didn't have to return this dress. I cannot wait to order from RTR again!!

I wore this dress to a fall wedding. The color is very rich, and perfect for the season. The fabric has a nice weight to it, so I wasn't chilly without a jacket. The pleats are more dramatic in person than in the photo, but they are very flattering and cover up hips well. If you are busty I would go up a size. There is very little stretch in the fabric in the bust area. Overall loved this dress and received a ton of compliments!

This dress is AMAZING! Everyone loved it; my husband, mother-in-law (!), sisters, and my students when I wore it to work all loved this dress, but I don't think any of them loved it like I did! It was wonderfully comfy and soft, and it hugged my curves without creating rolls in unflattering places. The skirt had a wonderful "swish-factor" and it made me want to twirl and do ballet in it (I may have pirouetted around the kitchen while under the influence of this dress). I really loved the little cut-outs in the shoulders - they gave it a little edge and made my husband's eyes widen (in that wonderful way) without being over-the-top. I cannot say enough how much I LOVED this dress! (Might have to go buy it...)

I originally ordered this dress as my back up option for a wedding and immediately changed my mind once I tried it on. It was perfect for a ceremony/reception! Loved the cut-outs around the neckline and the skirt is very flattering. I was fortunate enough to find a bra with straps that stayed under the dress (other reviews suggested wearing a strapless because of the cut-outs). I would definitely rent this dress again!

I wore this dress to a wedding and was so happy with it. The dress is a beautiful rich burgandy color. The slits in the shoulders are nice accents beceause they give the dress some edge and the flowy skirt is really prett and flattering to women who have some hips. The dress was so comfortable and is one that i wish i owned in my closet. I wore this with darker colored earings and bracelets, and wore shimmer black strappy heels to dress it up a little bit. Overall the dress looked great and i would tell anyone to rent this if they are looking for something comfortable, and really pretty at a wedding.

Rented for a conservative Christian wedding in October - loved it, but ended up wearing Clover Canyon's Swan Print dress. My friend's first response to seeing this dress on me was, "You can tell this is an expensive dress." The skirt is a bit like a retro 60's pleated cheerleader skirt. But pretty! The box pleats are soft, not stiff like a tutu. They also don't add volume to your hips making you look thick. The first strap (closest to the neck) is cut very narrow, so it elongates the line of your neck & slenderizes. Only CON: Slightly large/roomy in the waist, but this made it comfortable. Tip: wear a strapless bra.

This dress was perfect for a fall wedding. This fits true to size and was not too tight, so you won't feel uncomfortable after dinner and drinks! The cutouts in the shoulder compliment the shoulders nicely and adds a little sexiness to the dress. The color was a deep purple, very beautiful. Loved the overall simplicity of the dress, you can't go wrong with this selection!
