I will keep this dress on my list for future rentals. I wore this to an outdoor wedding on the lake. It was 94 degrees outside and i was not hot wearing this dress. It was very flowy and comfortable. I was able to eat, drink, and dance the night away in it! I liked the way the neckline is cut; it is very flattering to your figure.

I wore this for an outdoor graduation. I'm a 6 on top and a 10 on bottom. I usually wear an 8 size in dresses. I wore the 6 in this dress. The 6 fit me better on top and since the bottom falls loosely, it worked.

It is a little brighter than the photo makes it out to be. More purple than blue.

I ended up wearing this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner when the dress I ordered as back up felt more appropriate for the actual wedding. This dress was super comfortable after a five hour car ride and it keeps the focus on the upper half of the body - which actually helps if you are looking for a dress that will minimize the focus on your hips or stomach. With the right accessories the dress could probably have been brought up a notch in terms of fanciness - however, if you're looking for something special but a bit more casual, this is the look for you.

The color is beautiful and dress has a flattering fit. Dress does run a but big so I ended up wearing the smaller backup size I ordered instead of my true size.

Even though many reviews said it ran large I felt to go with my true size because of my bust size. It was much prettier in person and the color is like a blue periwinkle. Loved it!

I wore this for my second engagement shoot dress, and loved it! The color is a bit more blue than purple, but i was comfortable and easy to walk around in. The design was really fun all over the dress. Just a note - the v-neck hits low and you may show more boob than you intend

Wore this to our friends' field/ranch wedding. The 6 & 4 were very close in fit, wore the 4 and the waist was not snug on me. I got several compliments, my fiancé said I looked really beautiful (photo doesn't do it justice, we took it the morning after the event) and it was super comfortable for walking, sitting, eating and dancing all afternoon/night. The dress was effortless, score!

Such a great dress! Weddings can turn into long days so, it was nice to have a dress I didn't have to think about. I loved the exposed gold zipper on the back, the dress length and of course the color! Would have liked the waist to hit a little lower bit, no big deal. I would wear this one again!

The dress is so adorable, and it fits just like it says it will. The only thing is I added a black belt to it. otherwise looks great with wedges!

I wore this dress for a Bat Mitzvah and i thought it was perfect for the occasion! It was very comfortable, the color was gorgeous and the lace detailing made the dress really pretty. Like other reviews, this dress also ran a little big on me so i ended up wearing the 0 rather than the 2. I would definitely order a size smaller for your free size. Enjoy!

After watching other reviewers I decided to rent a size down, and I'm so glad I did -- I wore the 6 (had also gotten an 8 to try). It fit me like a glove! I am pretty curvy but short, and this dress was so flattering. I got so many compliments all night long! Perfect for an outdoor wedding this summer, absolutely lovely color and great material. Loved this rental!

This dress runs a little big. I usually run between a 6 and an 8, and the 6 fit like a glove. Lightweight and comfortable. I chose to cinch this dress with a gold belt and I rented some gold bangles to go with it. I was sad to return it.

I use RTR quite frequently and wasn't too excited about this dress because it didn't seem to have any "wow factor" to me, but wanted to rent it as it fit the bill for a conservative/casual outdoor family wedding. However, I was blown away, I actually LOVED this dress. It fit like a glove and was so comfortable! I really just felt great in it! I would rent it again in a heartbeat! It is absolutely the perfect dress for any wedding guest! I would highly recommend it!

I rented this dress for my engagement photos. I wanted something to go with our color scheme (plum and gray) and this dress was perfect! It was lightweight, which was perfect for our beach setting and the colors of the sun setting behind us. Absolutely would rent this again and love RTR!!

Loved the fit of the dress! Fit me well in the chest, which is hard since I'm a 36DD. I thought it looked a little more casual in person, but with heels it was perfect. Got a lot of compliments. My only regret is that I can't buy it! :-)

The length was a tad longer than I might have liked, but since I wore it underneath my grad gown for most of the event, it worked out nicely. The bust fit well, and in general the fit was good. The color was gorgeous and is perfect for summer events. I usually wear big earrings but opted for a statement necklace with the neckline of this dress.

Wore this dress for my medical school graduation last May. Just special enough, the dress was my favorite shade of purple with very pretty feminine lace detail that fit the occasion perfectly without being overly dramatic. I felt very comfortable all day (both indoor and outdoor), easy to move, walk, and sit. Dress ran true to size. Great for girls like me with little waists and smaller up top, but bigger hips. Felt beautiful all day!

First of all, this dress is waaayyyy cuter and nicer in person than it looks in pictures--I thought it was going to be a little stretchy and almost jersey material underneath, but it was a super nice silky material. It didn't have too much give, but the dress literally fit me perfectly-- I didn't even try on the spare 4 that I got because the 6 fit me like a glove! It was appropriate for an outdoor wedding with grandparents etc. but still made me feel sexy. I'm a little heavier up top and it gave me the right amount of cleavage without making me look like a porn star. Highly recommend-- comfy, looked great and my boyfriend loved it!

The dress runs a little big, so I was able to wear the 6 with room to spare. It was a perfect dress for an outdoor party, with the right amount of lace detailing. If you have a larger chest, the V-neck made for nice cleavage and the length was very modest. I paired it with a statement necklace and nude wedges, to not overpower the design. This dress was cool and comfortable with lots of room to move and dance! The lace was soft and it was not to structured through the waist, so it didn't poof out at the hips. It has pockets and the color was pretty for a spring wedding.

I rented this dress for my bridal shower. I wanted to wear somethign purple to keep with my wedding theme. This dress was very comfortable, and I got a lot of compliments. I vary between a size 2 and 4. If a dress is tight in the hips, I go for the larger size. This one had plenty of room in the hips, so the 2 fit perfectly.

I ordered a size 4 and a size 6. Didn't even try the 6 on as the size 4 fit almost perfectly. Wore it to a rehearsal dinner. It ended up being a little chilly so threw on a jacket with it. Once the jacket came off I got tons of compliments!

I wore this dress for graduation and it was perfect! The color is beautiful and the lace detail adds a fun element. It was also a very light dress so was easy to wear all day when it was warm out. Wish I owned this one!

Definitely go down a size. I usually wear a 4 and a 2 was perfect. Very comfortable, regular bra can be worn, and length was a few inches above the knee on me with 4+ inch heels.

Fit was a bit large, normally I am a size 4, but I got the 4 and the 2, and the 2 fit better. The 4 would have been wearable though, if you like a looser fit. My photo is b&w but the color was true to the RTR photo, a great periwinkle for spring, and the lace pattern adds some nice depth. I wore a bra with this dress, but the top has nice structure so you wouldn't have to if you didn't want to. Rented this for a formal fundraising event, and would definitely recommend for something similar! It's a nice, comfortable, easy wear.

I ordered the 8 & 10 in the dress and did not find a big difference between the sizes. I am modestly sized in the bust, 36B, and found the dresses to be somewhat form fitting up top. Larger busted women may have more of an issue in this area as mentioned by another client. Dress lace pattern looks slightly different than the picture. The color is pleasant and was appropriate for a spring wedding. Dress was comfortable to wear, but I felt needed a belt to accessorize because without it, the dress seems a little lacking. The only problem I had was that the side of my bra peaked out of the top of the dress on the right side. That made me feel a bit self conscious as the dress dipped a little lower than I usually wear. A safety pin or fashion tape would have taken care of that nicely. Also when you sit down, the lining portion of the dress is far shorter than the lacey overlay. Overall the dress was comfortable and I was happy with the delivery and service of my first RTR dress. Can't wait for another occasion to come up for which I need an outfit.

I put the dress on and then didn't have to mess with it or think about it for the rest of the night. This was my first rent the runway purchase and I will definitely do it again!

I wore this to an outdoor wedding in Georgia. It was comfortable and easy to wear. Great for dancing as it wasn't too short and the skirt had just enough bounce. The dress did look a little worn but it wasn't too noticeable. Would absolutely recommend this dress.

This was a very pretty and comfortable dress, and I loved wearing it. It was a lot lower in the chest than I anticipated or was comfortable with, so if you are more endowed in that area, a little warning. Sorry for the bad picture, I didn't want to include myself or family.

Overall, this dress was a good rental. It was long enough that I didn't feel like I was showing too much leg at a wedding, but it also wasn't too conservative. I wore the size 0 dress because my bust was drowning in the size 2; however, the waist in the size 0 was still a little too baggy - I ended up wearing a ribbon belt to make it more form-fitting. The fabric felt nice - not too itchy. I would recommend this dress if you're looking for something form-flattering and basic, with just enough of a pattern to be special.

Overall, this was a solid dress pic for an outdoor wedding. I am generally between sizes, and the smaller size fit comfortably. My only complaint would be the ruffle around the midsection. It is a bit more pronounced in person then it looks in the picture. It wasn't a deal breaker, but the dress definitely would have been more slimming without it.
