This dress was a perfect spring dress. I am 5'9", 140, 34-27-37 and am a 2-4 in department store sizes. The 4 fit me with give left in the elastic section under the bust. The length was perfect for my height. The size 4 reached just below my knees, so longer than on the model. The flutter portions add extra curves for the slimmer figures but the dress is forgiving as the other reviewer noted. Best part, a slim strapped bra can be worn under this dress!

This dress was beautiful and perfect for the small rooftop wedding I wore it to. I'm larger busted and this was a very flattering dress for my curvy shape. Love the tea-length skirt as well. And SO comfortable! It runs big so definitely size down, I could have even worn the 6, which is a great feeling!!

I wore this for my daughter's first birthday party. I wanted something super feminine and flowy, but still comfortable. I could've worn the 8 but the 10 was just more comfortable and I knew I'd be running around like a lunatic all day. The length was perfect, color, material, everything! I'll definitely be ordering again in the summer since I wore this in March :)

I originally got this dress as a back-up to wear at my wedding rehearsal. I ended up choosing this dress over the other. The material felt amazing, the dress was flattering, and I felt elegant (maybe I was just an excited bride to be...but this dress was perfect). It runs true to size (I usually wear a 4 or 6) and I paired it with the RJ Graziano Dress Me Up Necklace from RTR.

This dress was perfect for the rehearsal dinner for my brother's wedding! I ordered a 6 since they were out of 4s, but it turned out to be the right size--you don't want this dress to be tight since the flowiness makes it so beautiful. It is incredibly flattering for pear and hourglass shapes. When I put it on, it felt like someone had tailored it to my shape. Other reviews mention that the dress might be a bit long, but I thought the length was perfect--coming down to mid-calf on me at 5'4", it made the dress a bit more romantic. I did NOT want to return this dress when it came time. Love it!

Loved this dress! I am a wedding florist and love finding super cute dresses that are easy to work in. Wore this on a day when I had 4 weddings to set up. Zero problems in the fashion department. Only downfall - The elastic in the waist was non-existent. The dress fit my body like a sack. Paired it with a thick elastic black belt to make it work. Worn with black wedges and a statement necklace. Light material, great length, can be worn with a regular bra. Would recommend, but choose a size or two smaller than you normally would order.

First, this dress ran HUGE. I ordered the 10 and the 6, I really wanted the 8, thinking I'd end up in the 10. It was a tent, even belting the waist couldn't help. And I am not a tiny girl! The 6 fit good, still a bit big, but I belted the waist and it was fine. Cute and comfy, easy to dance in, nice summer wedding dress. Only annoyance, both came quite wrinkled and I don't own a steamer (and honestly didn't plan on being at the wedding long anyways so didn't care) and it was SO staticy. I think it's just the material, but it literally stuck to my legs the whole night. Not my favorite RTR but a cute, less expensive one.

Wore the dress for a beer festival. It was light and flowed well but RUNS BIG. I'm usually a solid 6 and I wore the 4 and it was too big. I just wore a belt around my waist so it didn't look like I was wearing a sack. Would have been better if I had a size 2. Otherwise great dress

i wore this dress on a getaway for my boyfriends birthday. got tons of compliments and was extremely comfortable all day. wish i could find it to buy!

This dress looks like a muted teal color on the website, but the dress was a rich green, almost kelly green. I did not read the description accurately and I thought the skirt was chiffon as well, so I was pleasantly surprised that the dress was a lovely silk. I did think it was extremely long (almost mid-calf), but I liked the odd length. The dress runs a bit large due to the smocked back, but if you're large chested, you may want to stick with your regular size. Between the bright green and the silk, I loved this dress so much more than I anticipated. I had originally rented it as an option for a wedding, but I ended up wearing this out and about as I ran errands. I would have worked for a more casual wedding for a nice spring/summer party. The RTR picture doesn't do it justice.

This dress is really beautiful. As others have noted the color is a bit darker green than pictured. It's made of incredibly lightweight silk and was absolutely perfect for the outdoor party I attended (my main concern was that I would be too hot). However, I would definitely recommend getting at least two sizes down from your normal, especially if you are petite. I normally wear an 8/10 (I wore a 10 in the last dress I got from RTR) and the size 6 in this dress was still huge on me. I made it work with a belt and some fashion tape, but definitely could have gone down to a 4 or maybe even a 2. Taller women can probably pull off something closer to their regular size. I still got tons of compliments on the dress. It really is lovely!

The dress is huge. I am usually a 4/6, but due to others describing it as big, I rented a 2 and 4. The 2 was even slightly large. The dress will really fit any bust size/body type. It was comfortable too. The negative: the dress was not as defining of my hips as I originally thought looking at the picture above. Overall, really happy with the dress.

I ordered an XS; it would have worked with some pins to make the straps a bit shorter, but overall it was too long. Damn, being short. Otherwise, beautiful and forgiving.

This dress was HUGE on me and I am usually a 6-8 dress size at the minimum. I wore it with a belt which helped as my backup did not arrive on time. I probably would've needed a size 2 in this - which I haven't worn since probably the 8th grade. But pretty fabric and cute style nonetheless.

The elastic that gives it it's shape was totally stretched out so that it looked more like a moomoo than anything else. I wore it with a belt to hide this since I was desperate but definitely not good. Also, as some other people mentioned, the shoulders are a bit strange. They cut in a bit in the armpits, and they're also far apart so they try to fall off your shoulders. The fabric kind of looks like my grandmothers decor from the 70s but fortunately it photographs pretty well. Not my favorite RYR dress overall.

Dress is supposed to be flowy, but I am definitely a curvy 8 and the 6 was big on me - I would have even liked to try the 4. On the good side, the dress is well designed - you can wear a bra with thin straps and the flowiness of it is flattering. I am 5'6" and the dress came well below my knees; the fabric is thin and unlined. I ended up going with my more structured backup, but even though it was a little large I could have worn this for my event and looked nice.

The dress was a very pretty pattern, and the silk was nice. But it was both longer and bigger than I thought it would be. I wore a belt which helped, but overall it was not a very flattering or comfortable dress for me.

Pros: style, color, comfort...all exactly what I had hoped for. Also, great to be able to feel feminine and wear a regular bra. Cons: the shape left something to be desired. Perhaps it was a little large, but I don't think the 6 would have worked for my bust size. It also ran quite long on me (though I'm a little on the short size). All in all, I wouldn't rent it again but only because it's not quite right for my body. It is still a beautiful dress!

Cute, I wore it to a pinic with a blazer and it worked well. It is, however, very long. I had to do a temporary hem with matchsticks tape (I took it up by about 3 or 4 inches) which worked fine. I would say the frill at the front was less flattering on me than it would be one someone with a smaller chest (I'm a 34DD) but with the jacket I was wearing it was fine. Very comfortable, and with the waist being so high it really elongates your legs (assuming the hem is the right length for you)

I rented this dress in a size 8 and the fit was all wrong. The length definitely cut me in the wrong place and the fabric was a little strange. I didn't end up wearing it.

I always rent two dresses from RTR. I tried this on and was dissapointed --- the top ruffle is bib-like, and the bottom hangs at an awkward length -- just not at all flattering on me.

The dress is beautiful and the fabric is so soft but it runs super big. I wear a size 4 in loose dresses and a size 6 in tight ones. I received a 4 and a 6 and I could wear nether. The 4 was still way to big. I wish I would of known that then I would of been able to actually wear the beautiful dress on my honeymoon.
