Based on the other reviews I was super skeptical.. but I love this brand so I gave it a shot... and it was so cute! I'm 5,9 so it was a little short but still appropriate for work. Be aware it is a more structured canvas material. Scallop detailing makes the look.

This dress was a little tight around my stomach so I sadly never wore it. Maybe I'll try renting again a size up because this was a beautiful dress in a great, thick material.

Fitted dress, slight flare at the bottom and at the bust layer. The material has some stretch to it as well. It was comfortable, but thick - something to think about for summer weddings.

First of all, Rebecca Taylor always runs small so I recommend sizing up. I did like this dress, but I was surprised to see that it's somewhat of a denim fabric used for the dress. I wasn't expecting that, but that's not to say it didn't work for a day at the office! I just dressed it up by adding a Chanel pearl necklace.

Cute cut but the material was really stiff and I think it didn't look nice enough to wear to work, so I didn't end up wearing it. Runs true to size, which is smaller than other Rebecca Taylor dresses. I often size down to a 2 in this brand but my normal size 4 fit fine.

The zipper broke halfway through the day and I had to have a friend help me bust out

A little short but very flattering

I've seen some reviews referring to this dress as "stiff". I think the more accurate description is structured. I found it to be very slimming and flattering. Sleek but not too sexy for work. I'm 5'9 and did not find it too short for work. Recommend sizing up as the fabric will not hang/drape well if you're curvy.

Very flattering and easy wearing for work.

Fit like a glove! Looks great on. The zipper was a bit stiff going up, but once you got the right angle, it zipped right up. Would wear again in a heartbeat.

Runs small/short so size up for work

It fits true to size and is the perfect length (I am 5'5) but the zipper is very finicky. It was difficult to unzip and difficult to get on by myself. I managed but it has definitely been worn in.

Really flattering fit. I am 5’7 and it was short on me. It was hard to bend over and not be self conscious so I chose not to wear to work. The waist is nipped in a little so the dress makes you look tiny in the middle. The material is canvas-like, so it shows dirt easily.

Overall, this is a pretty dress that fits true to size. The only top fits perfectly, but the skirt section has no stretch, so if you have fuller hips, butt or belly, the proportions may not be perfect compared with the top.

I'm regularly a 12 these days, and this 12 was both short and skin tight. Cute idea but I'd need to size up.

A little shorter than I expected. Also the dresses material is very sensitive and gets dirty extremely easily- wouldn't recommend although the silhouette is flattering.

Fit tight around the waste. Material was not as expected (like a heavier cotton). Dress style is casual.

Not stretchy

It is a really cute dress. It was just too short for me to be comfortable wearing it to work.

The material was very stiff and uncomfortable. The size was too small, particularly in the stomach and hip areas. I have a size 30 waist and 38 hips. It fit will in the chest area.

Short and a little small

This is so small. I'm usually a 12 and the 14 was too tight to wear. Bummed!!

The dress is cute as far as the design but the fabric is stiff, weird like canvas. Also, the zipper is super hard to do on your own.

I ordered this dress for a wedding and ended up not wearing it because it was way too small (I ordered a size up and it was still too small) and the material was terrible. The fabric has absolutely no give. Would've been cute if it fit.
