I wore this for our virtual holiday party and got so many compliments! I found the fabric to be a bit clingy even though I would say the dress ran large, so if I rocked it IRL I would probably wear Spanx!

A little too conservative for my taste and was a little big for my frame but worked ok for a work trip.

Really love this, I will def keep for a while! It's super comfy and stretchy (so if you're typically a M you could probably go S). There's a nice hidden zipper in the back which I loved because it prevented my from getting makeup all over it. I rented for a work conference and it was perfect - just dressy enough but still casual, and chic enough for an impromptu dressy dinner. 10/10 recommend!!

Wore this on a plane, super comfy and chick for a business mtg., but not flattering on photos! I'm 5'6, 121 lbs and it made me look heavy

fun dress

I got so many compliments I had to buy it. Heavy material, great fit (was a little large in the back). The gold stripes are subtle—nice touch without being too much flare. You don’t have to wear spanx, very forgiving.

The dress fit well, very forgiving as it is a bit stretchy. It won't wrinkle so it would work well for travel.

This Rachel Roy Collection dress is a lovely combination of black and gold stripes and a mock neck. I wore this dress while touring a new city on vacation; three women stopped me while walking to compliment my outfit. The only con I would report for this dress is that the fabric's texture makes it a little itchy (so wearing a slip underneath would be recommended).

I was hot in it in the office and then at dinner. The material is a bit artificial. Overall cute

I love offbeat styles like this, but unfortunately it fell flat for me. I'm pear shaped, and I didn't think that the length or the dimensions of the skirt really flattered me. It elongated my (short) torso, but I think I would have liked it more if it was full length over tea-dress-knee-length.

Didn't like the location of the stitching across the middle. Wish it had been higher up above hips. I'm 5'4" and ordered a small. Fit was okay other than the location of the stitching.

This dress made me light up like a Christmas tree when I wore it through the screening at TSA. I think this dress was too big for me and it just wasn't very flattering. It was heavy weight which is fine, but the top of the zipper was super scratchy and it drove me nuts the whole day. The length was great for work.

Very think fabric

Incredibly comfy dress, fabric is thick so great option for winter. TTS and goes to the knees and appropriate for any occasion, though I found the sparkle to be a surprise. While the dress has limited stretch I didn't find it too Bodycon- there was still a good bit of room around the tummy and hips area. Love the turtleneck detailing and the vertical stripes are flattering. Probably wouldn't rent again because it's not really my style but no complaints!

I would have liked it better in a medium but I made the large work. Easy dress to travel with. Super comfortable for events that are one step down from formal. Good holiday piece.

Cute but not snug. Short on the arms. I ended up folding the sleeves, still cute. Tons of compliments.

This is very pretty and would be super flattering on an hourglass figure. I found it very unforgiving in the waist and therefore won’t be wearing it. The material is quite heavy, so would be too warm to wear in spring or summer; it is also a bit stiff — personally (as someone who is sensitive to itchy material and values comfort over trendiness) I don’t think I’d be comfortable in this for a whole day, but would probably be okay for a few hours at a party.

The dress is cute. I probably could have sized down to a medium. The fabric was a little overwhelming, and I am not a small person. Overall it was a good dress. Very forgiving.

Wore for a work event with tights and booties. Easy and professional. There is a bit of sparkle to the stripes which wasn't my favorite, but it worked.

Very flattering and comfy for work. I loved the collar. My only compliant is the sleeve length. It's so awkwardly short. Not 3/4 length, but not long. It drove me nuts all day. This may be specific to my fit, but just something to note. I am 5'4 - 0/2 and the XS was the right choice.

My daughter opened the RTR bag before I got home from work and sent me a photo of her holding the dress up -- her face said everything. What looked mod and fun in the photo just seems weird and awkward IRL. Also really heavy and also very itchy. Returning same day.
