The top of this dress was elegant and fit perfectly, the skirt was not what I expected and I had trouble with it all night. The side zipper poked out when I sat down and the silk underskirt was very narrow and made it hard to walk (not a good dress for dancing). The outer chiffon tapered in towards the knees and made my hips look larger. I'm already curvy so this might be a better fit for someone who is straight and narrow. I loved the fabric, the style of the top and the added touch of the scarf of fabric in the back. I paired this with gold shoes and jewelry.

Beautiful dress, such a lovely color. I am 5'5" with a pear shaped body and usually wear a size 12-14 so I ordered both 12 and 14. The 12 fit pretty slim and the underskirt of the dress was a bit tight around my hips. The 14 fit comfortably but gapped under the arms. Both dresses had the boning poking out under the arms, probably from the many dry cleanings, but the dress looked great and I had a great time in it!

I got 3 size 16 dresses from Rent the Runway, and this was the only one that I couldn't zip up all the way. It didn't fit my chest area, so I wouldn't get this dress if you're extra large like me.

I normally wear a size 12 so I ordered this in a 12 & 14. The 14 was too small.

The dress is absolutely beautiful, but to reiterate some of the comments that others made, the lining of the dress bulges in very unflattering places. I wore a dress size two times up (and even that barely worked). The dress is certainly not meant for women with chests; it's extremely difficult to zip up by the chest; nonetheless, it is still a beautiful dress. If you can make it work, I'd suggest doing so.

This dress ran really small! What you can't tell from the picture is that there is a tight, silk lining underneath that does not flow away from the body. However, it's a gorgeous dress and beautiful color.

The dress is a lovely rich color and pretty style but it runs VERY SMALL. I had to return both sizes and just wear another dress I had at home for my event. I'm usually between a 6-10 depending on the style. I ordered an 8 and 10 as my two sizes and tried on the 10 first because it looked so small - the 10 couldn't come close to zipping and I don't even think a size 12 would have worked for me based on the large amount of additional fabric I would have needed to zip up the 10. Definitely ask a stylist about this one before renting to get feedback, and order a size bigger than you think + 1 bigger than that as your spare. If you are super skinny with a very small chest and torso, you may be ok with your normal size or slightly larger than usual.
