I'm still trying to drop the last of my baby weight and was so happy this dress was very forgiving. I wore it to my work Christmas party and received many great comments. This sealed the deal on never buying a department store dress ever again.

I rented this dress for our "downtown" engagement session. The fabric of this dress was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Wore plum suede pumps with it to bring in a punch of color. Overall size was larger than I expected (I am normally a 6 or 8). Little too short for sitting down photos for me (5'8") but a great deal for such a unique "classic" dress.

Very comfortable. RTR is beyond convenient it took the stress out of going shopping.

This dress was perfect for an upscale spring wedding I was attending. I generally wear a 4 or 6 depending on the fit and I ended up going with the size 4 in this dress as the 6 was just a little too loose all over. Keep in mind when considering renting that this is a shift dress so it is meant to have a boxier fit. For me, the shoulders and hips were form fitting but the dress was pretty loose around the middle. It looked nice on its own but I decided to belt it to give it a little more figure (someone with less of a booty might have a different experience!). The belt worked great but did require some adjustments throughout the night, otherwise it started to bunch. The pattern is amazing and very elegant; I'd definitely rent this dress again.

Wore this dress for a Chicago wedding on a cold April day and it worked great. It is a true shift as everyone else mentions so it was a little baggy around the waist. I am usually in between a 2 and a 4 and the 2 worked great with room to spare. I'm 5'3" so the length was also fine for me. I would rent this dress again.

This dress was 100% fantastic! This has probably been my favorite RTR moment. I wore it to a wedding and received so many compliments! The sleeves made it perfect for a Texas winter wedding and it was super comfortable. I felt like a star!

This dress was actually a last minute backup that I had ordered because the first dress did not fit. I was so happy that I ended up with this dress! The fit did run a little small in the hips and bust so I went with the bigger size. I would definitely reccommend and rent this dress again!

This dress was perfect for the ACM awards! I typically wear a size 6 but wore a size 4 in this dress...so definitely size down. Depending on your height, the dress is a bit shorter but I felt comfortable and classy the entire night. I'd definitely rent this dress again!

This dress is GORGEOUS and super flattering! I planned on wearing the size 4 and ended up wearing the 2. I had a baby 4 months ago and this dress is a little bigger in the mid-section - which made me feel great and not self-conscious about my tummy all night. I received tons of compliments and will most likely rent again. This was my first time renting and overall a great experience.

The dress runs a bit big, but throw on a belt and you're good to go. It's easy and stylish for any occasion with family, coworkers or friends.

Rented this dress for a winter bridal shower and it was the perfect choice. It runs slightly big so I would get your regular size and one below it. I chose to wear the larger size of the two and belt it to give it some shape. I highly recommend having a black belt on hand when renting this dress! It was the perfect length for me ( at 5'2 ). All in all, another great experience with RTR. And you can't beat the price!

He told me, "You're going to want to rent a sexy dress for this." So I chose this dress for a Valentine's Day evening dinner at a surprise location, followed by tickets to see Harry Connick, Jr. in our favorite new venue, all after a day of fun together playing golf and hitting a spa. Long story short, he stood me up, disappearing days before and not getting in touch with me for days after. Amazing friends and family swooped in, and by the end of the day, I'd been to a spa for a day, had my hair done, and had a dinner date set up by/with two of my best friends at a gorgeous hotel. So I got to wear this gorgeous dress after all. This extremely elegant and classy-with-bite dress is meant to be a sheath, so it's supposed to be roomy and "suggest" your shape, but not hold it. That said, if you want it more fitted, go a size down. Otherwise, the sizing was perfect. The length was mid-thigh, great for showing off sexy gams. Sitting at the bar was a bit of an adventure with the length, but at the table, I was comfortable. If you plan on dancing in this, don't to the YMCA (unless that's your thing). I paired the dress with warm-colored pearl earrings, a matching pearl bracelet, and no necklace - the dress is sexy enough, so you'll just go a little overboard with too much else. I borrowed a pair of Aldo nude wedge peep-toes to tie it up and make my legs look extra long, and carried a black clutch. I received TONS of compliments - as always with RTR dresses - and I absolutely plan on wearing this one again. This dress made me feel beautiful, sexy, and wanted on a day where I really needed it most. Thank you, RTR. You rocked my world again.

Conservative fit up top but length adds a little sexiness - it definitely runs on the shorter side. I'm 5'8 and ended up wearing the 2 even though the 0 fit because of the different in length and tightness across the backside area. The fit on the backside wouldn't have been an issue but since it was also short and I was going to a wedding, I wanted something a little more demure so I went with the size 2.

Easy on stomach pouch and great length for legs! The 6 was a little short and snug in the arms, the 8 was perfect!

I read a ton of reviews before renting this dress and all were very spot on. I am short so the dress was not short on me at all and was the perfect length. I would say that this dress does run a little big. I ended up wearing the 8 but the 6 did not get to me in time. I tried on the 6 when I got it and it fit perfect. The dress was very comfortable. The cream under part of the dress did ride up a little bit and I found myself having to pull it down every so often but it was not that big of a deal. Also, normal bras can be work with this dress which is always a plus. I would definitely recommend renting this dress.

Perfect dress for a winter wedding! No tights needed. This dress is super comfy. Just the right length, hitting mid thigh. Runs slightly big, as I would normally wear a size 8-10 in most dresses. It's forgiving in the mid section, but hugs the bust arms and butt. You will not be disappointed if you choose this dress.

I rented this dress for New Years Eve and loved it. This dress fit me so well, and I got a lot of compliments. I listened to the other reviews, which said that the dress ran large, so I opted to get sizes 4 and 6. Both fit but the 6 was a little looser in the arms, which was better for moving around in. I would definitely suggest getting your normal size plus one size down just in case. I will definitely rent again!

I am a wedding photographer and was shooting a close friends' wedding, as well as attending as a guest, so I wanted to wear something comfortable I could move in but also looked nice for the day. I ordered three different dresses with different sizes, as I can fluctuate in sizing between designers - and this one was my absolute favorite! I received so many compliments, it was super comfortable and not too tight. I even threw on some cute heels after I was done shooting photos and danced all night. I will definitely be renting this dress again!

It does run big, I wore the six because it was a little bit looser in the shoulders for me but a little too loose in the waste but it still looks flattering and I paired it with a sexy pointed toe red heels and red necklace! I was hesitant about this dress, only because shift dresses tend to look sack-like on me. But, I wanted something with sleeves for the winter wedding we were attending, and figured I could always throw on a belt. Ultimately, I loved how the dress looked as-is, and it was so super comfortable! At 5'1", it hit just above my knees - which was a perfect length - and I had no issue with tightness in the sleeves like some others. Lots of compliments. In perfect condition, too -- but it did have a bit of an odor to it when I opened it up. I couldn't tell if it was a factory/packaging smell, or from the person who last wore it - but a bit of febreze took care of that.

I ordered sizes 8 & 10 and ended up going with the 10 because the 8 was too tight in the bust. The 10 was fitted and very comfortable. I would order from this designer again.

Loved this dress! The length was perfect, not nearly as short as it looks on the model. The lace overlay is longer than the lining so it's a cute way to show a little leg and stay conservative. This was my first RTR so I ordered sizes conservatively. I was worried about the fit in the hips but should have listened to the reviews and ordered a 4 and 6, instead of an 8. It fits generously through the waist and hips- not snug like a traditional shift. Great, classic, easy fitting dress! Hard to go wrong with this one.

I usually wear a 4, however the 6 was a perfect fit. When my first dress did not work, the lady from RTR was so helpful and took her time to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I had the new dress by noon the next day. I will definitely use RTR the next time I need a dress for a special occasion.

I was happy that the 4 fit me much better than the 6. I felt the 6 made me look more frumpier while the 4 fitted just right . The dress is short so you have to be careful. Overall I loved this dress and I wish I could afford it at retail price.

I ordered this dress for my sister's rehearsal dinner. Based on everyone else's reviews, I ordered smaller sizes and I'm glad I did! Had I gone any bigger, the dress would have been a sack! Very flattering, super forgiving, and it was a great length too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a classic look for a formal event.

I was sent this dress is a replacement dress for my engagement party. It was my first time needing something overnighted and rtr customer service was amazing. I had ordered this style dress in the past (in pink) and knew the size was true to size/a little big. Pros: good for fall and winter. It would have looks good with tights. Since it is a shift dress I wouldn't have minded it with a belt to show my waist, but didn't have one that matched. Not too short.

I absolutely loved this dress. It does run large and I wish I had picked the size 4.
