I wore this dress for my senior prom, and couldn't be happier with it. I certainly felt I had the classiest dress in the entire room, but I may be a little biased! It was a bit on the long side (it looks very long in the photo because I had my 3" heels off), but otherwise it fit exactly according to the measurements. Beware that the bust is very small, but luckily that was exactly what I was looking for!

This dress is super comfortable. I will say, if your are short this is a great dress. If you are taller than 5'2" I would get the long. My shoes showed with three inch heels in the regular. I would also say if you are chesty make sure to order the size that will fit your bust, the rest of the dress is fairly loose. I loved this dress, and this was my first RTR experience, but it won't be the last. I felt fabulous all night!

This dress was awesome and everyone at my sorority formal complimented it. My only complaint is it ran a little short. I got the Regular but even being 5'4 I think a long would've been better if you're wearing heels. Fabric was nice but the boning did poke.

I wore this dress to the USMC Ball to celebrate the 237th birthday of the Marines. It was a great color and the fabric was nice. The dress fit just right! I'm 5 feet and I could walk barefoot with it just touching the ground. I did wear 2 inch heels and it still looked great. I got a lot of compliments throughout the evening.

I rented this dress and the CARMEN MARC VALVO Lifetime Love Gown, but decided to wear this one for a Marine Corps ball in Vegas. The dress is more on the modest side, which was good for me. It is snug in the bust area (I'm only a 34B). It fit very well, but was still forgiving for an imperfect figure. I wore with short heels (2") and it was the perfect length.

I rented this for my husband's company Christmas party, which is a very formal event each year. I absolutely loved it! It was really comfortable. Lingerie was critical -- strapless push-up bra and shaper for me -- to make it look good. It was flowy and gorgeous. Exactly floor length on me at 5-2" with flats on.

I wore the dress for my senior prom, and it was absolutely amazing. I loved it. The color is gorgeous and the fit is great. There was one issue, and it was that I was sent the wrong size. I originally ordered a 0L and a 2L and planned on wearing the 2, instead of being sent the sizes I ordered I was sent the 0L and a 2 regular. The 2 regular was beyond too short for me so I was forced to wear the 0, which fit it was just really tight. Overall though I loved the dress and would definitely recommend.

This was my first rent the runway experience and it went well. I have recently had a baby...and am not my normal size. I ordered this dress thinking it would be loose in all the right places. It was. Many people stated that ti dress runs big, so I ordered an 8 and 10. I couldn't get the largest size zipped over my chest. The gala was Saturday and I got the dresses on Thursday night. I tried them on immediately. I contacted RTR customer service and they overnighted (i only had to pay for shipping) and I returned my two existing dresses. The 12R fit much better in the chest. I was so grateful that it arrive the morning of my event and was perfect for a Black Tie Gala. My only complaint is that I am 5'4" and the Regular was short in heels. As you can tell in the picture, you can see my shoes. I prefer floor length, but in this scenario...it was last minute and I was still happy with the look. The sizes of the 12R were floor length, just seems the front was a little short. Overall, very happy with my experience and I would rent again.

I loved this dress. The fit was very flatte3ring and was great for a "less than perfect" figure. It is very flowy and feminine. I wore it to a black tie charity gala and it fit the occasion perfectly. If there weren't so many amazing choices offered by RTR I would consider renting it again. I am just barely 5'6", and decided to go with the 8 Long. I wore 4" heels and I have to say it was still a little on the long side (drug on the floor just a tiny bit) But I think this added to the overall effect and much preferred a little extra length over it being too short. It was difficult to zip on my own and at first led me to believe it was slightly too small. It turned out to just be3 a weird angle, and with a little help from hubby it zipped e3asily and fit like a glove.

i would give this dress 5 stars, but unfortunately RTR told me they had no more size 0R (when it was of course available when I added it to my cart 1 month before my event). 3 DAYS BEFORE MY EVENT! That made me realize always have a back up dress! so that was a bummer. Crossing my fingers, i hoped the 2R would work and thankfully it did! It was not a snug as i hoped but it was good enough for me. The 0R would have been perfect though. By the way, if you have small boobs, this dress is perfect. AND if you're kind of on the short side, this dress is even more perfect. I never thought i could pull of a long dress because of my height, but the measurements were perfect! i only had to wear 2 inch heels. I got so many compliments through out the night and although there was a lot of stress before prom due to the size incident, it turned out amazing.

I was nervous about renting a dress online for my sorority's formal, but I was very pleased overall. I loved the one shoulder look and received a ton of compliments from my sisters! There were a couple of problems though. The dress was tight in the bust keeping me from being able to wear and bra, and it was hard to zip it by myself. Also, the stays in the back of the dress poked me all night. If the size 10L had been available for a backup size, I would have probably worn it instead. Overall, it's a great dress, and I will most likely rent again next year!

This dress was perfect as the matron of honor at my best friend's wedding! Her colors included "wine" and I found the color to be perfect! I was worried the black in the shoulder ribbons would be too dark but they were hardly noticeable. I would definitely say that the dress is true to size because I would consider myself a size 6. I of course waited till the last minute and had to settle for a 4. Thankfully there was a lining because when I zipped it up the seam started to bust. Rent the Runway insurance for the win! It held together though and looked beautiful! I'm 5'10" and the Long size worked perfectly with the heels I had to wear to please the bride. I then put on flats for the reception and the length was still spot on. During the reception I ended up spilling meat sauce all down the front! I went to the reception to try to clean it out as best as possible and thankfully the lighter outer layers of the dress dried pretty quickly. Again, Rent the Runway insurance for the win! I was so impressed!

Pro- comfortable, color was better in real life than the pictures Con- I don't really like the dangling material off the shoulder

This was my backup dress, and I really thought from the reviews that it would fit. The 2r did fit my pear shaped body very well at the top (34a) which was great, however per the other reviews, it does run very short! I'm 5'5" and without shoes this dress was at least 2 inches too short. That's never a problem for me, so I was very surprised! Thankfully i got a perfect fit in my other dress, so overall RTR was a huge success for me. This is a beautiful dress and a great choice if you are very petite!

Loved this dress. It was my first time using RTR and I wasn't sure about the sizing and everything but this dress was very flattering and draped beautifully. Had a great experience with RTR, will definitely be back for more.

Im glad I received a free 2nd dress with my first rental. I originally ordered a size 2 but to be on the safe side i got a 0 too. I tried on the 0 first and it fit. Thank goodness for the second dress. The size 2 probabaly would've been big. But i dont know because i didnt bother trying it on. While everyone wore a mermaid dress i was the only one w a one shoulder dress. Dress is comfortable.

i loved this dress. they one of the two dresses they sent me was in perfect condition new, the other had ribbons that were a little worn and ragged. the dress i wore was beautiful! i would wear it again.

I had originally ordered a different dress but it didn't fit. I called RTR, it was Friday almost end of day and I was on PT. My worse nightmare came true and here I was last minute. Of course my internet in the hotel wouldn't work so I had to call and just try to pick another dress from memory and the wonderful help and advice from the RTR staff. I actually own this dress in black so I played it safe and ordered this one knowing it would fit. It was delivered on time and had no issues with my order. The dress was super comfy and just fit in length so I was able to wear flats. Being 6 ft that was fine with me : ) I had a baby 5 months ago so it was a forgiving dress. Thanks to RTR for making it so easy and for being so helpful. I will definitely order again.

After I read the reviews, I was a little skeptical but this dress was perfect for the formal I went to! I usually wear a 2 or a 4 and the 4 fit me great so I think it is very true to size! The only negatives I can think of are that dress isn't very form fitting and it wasn't long enough for me to wear heels and i'm 5"4 and got regular length, but other then that is was beautiful!

Oh my gosh I loved this dress. I wore it to a wedding. It was so figure flattering and comfortable. It did have a wire poking out but I just wrapped a bandaid over it and didn't have any problems. I have put on a little bit of weight and was looking for a dress that would conceal but also make me look pretty and this fit the bill perfectly. I felt absolutely glamorous and beautiful all night. If you have a very large bust you might need to order up a size, I am a small B cup and the top fit me snugly.

I agree with others - if your chest is anything larger than an A cup, you need to go up a size. And, the plastics stays on the dress poke out of the fabric which is quite uncomfortable. I would probably choose another dressif I had the chance to do things differently. The service itself is outstanding though!!

Plastic ribbing hurt like crazy, but other wise this dress is gorgeous. Beware if you're not flat-chested though - my boobs could barely fit into this dress. And I'm only a B cup.

I normally wear a size 4 or smaller, due to my height. But I could not squeeze into this dress in either size - the bust area is cut WAY to small (I'm a full C cup). Luckily, I ordered a back up dress at the same time - everything worked out great. It's a pretty dress, maybe next time, I'll try the size 6.

Loved this dress, but wasn't able to wear it because it was too snug on top. I'm petite (usually a size 2, sometimes a 4) but wear a 32D bra, and the size 4 wouldn't accomodate my bust. I was a little nervous about the length because I am so short, but the length was perfect. I'll definitely try renting the size 6 for another event.

I had a Navy Ball to go to, and waited way too long to get a dress, so I had to get the 8L, which was too long, but fit amazingly everywhere else! ( I am 5'7", about 160 lbs, with 34/36D chest, and athletic body) It didn't make my chest look funny, and it wasn't so flowy that I looked pregnant. It was elegant and I got a TON of compliments on it. Great dress, I highly recommend it!

This was the first dress I've EVER worn that was actually too long for me even when worn with heels. I ended up wearing the highest pair of heels I owned and still ended up carrying the overskirt over my arm so that I could walk without triping. I liked that I didn't have to worry about it slipping off my shoulders because it zipped up on the side with the strap. I got so many compliments and I felt like a queen in this gorgeous gown.

Unfortunately, this dress was not shipped to me as it had not been returned in time from the previous person who rented it. So I am unable to review the dress. I was however happy that RTR allowed me to choose any other dress as a substitution and I did love the dress I ended up wearing.

This is a beautiful dress and very easy to wear. It was perfect for a black tie gala that I attended. The skirt is very flowy and graceful. If you are very small (32A) on top the size 2 will still be a little big. The black bow on the shoulder added great color contrast. I would definitely wear this again in a smaller size!

The picture does not do this dress justice. It is simply gorgeous. I wear a size 10 or 12 and found this to be a very flattering cut for my figure. I ordered as a backup for a black tie work event and it was too formal for the occasion (see below). That said, I found myself wishing I had an occasion, any occasion, to wear this stunning gown. It seems like something Titania might wear in Midsummer Night's Dream. The "long" is VERY long. The main reason I chose not to wear the dress is because I would have had to hold the train of the gown throughout the evening to avoid stepping on it.

This dress is very comfortable and fashion-forward. It looks better in person that in photographs. I ended up not wearing it because I liked the color of my other option better, but this would be perfect for a fall/winter event!

I wore this dress for a deb ball and it was lovely. It was very appropriate, but still looked great. The long is super long! I am tall and would have had to wear 3+ inch heels to get it off the ground. I ended up wearing the regular with smaller heels.

I LOVE this dress, but the top is a bit tight. I suggest you go one size up if you have a larger bust! Beautiful otherwise--might rent again in the proper size if I have another occasion!

LOVE your site! The dress I was sent was a very pretty dress and of nice quality. I went to a Mardi Gras Ball and the requirement was the dress to be floor length.Since they are so strict I could not even wear flats to meet the requirement. Unfortunately, I was not able to wear the dress but I did not verify the length when I ordered so I feel this was my fault. I had a personal back up dress so it was not a problem. I will certainly order a dress again and be careful to check length. I did not wear the dress so I could not provide a picture. sorry

I wore it for my squad's banquet, which is super formal (the guys were tuxes). I got compliments about the dress all night and even after the event. It was comfortable to wear and hid any imperfections. And seriously - rent it and have someone take a picture as you twirl around - the skirt floats so gently!

I just had a baby a few months ago so I wanted something to hide my belly, this dress was great. Very comfortable too!
