I rented this for the maid-of-honour for my July 2nd wedding and she looked stunning! The specifications I have are for her, which is identical to mine. It runs slightly small in the bust for girls of C cup or larger (my MOH tried it with and without a strapless bra and decided to go without the bra in the end for comfort). The 2R grazed the floor for her and she's 5' 6", so it was a tad shorter with a heel but not strangely so if worn with a 3" or lower heel. Overall, its a gorgeous dress and all the guests commented on how beautiful the choice of MOH dress was :)

This dress was REALLY short. I'm 5'3" and the hem was barely below my ankles. Definitely recommend getting the long size instead of the regular.

I was planning on wearing the 2L because I'm a little larger in the chest (32c), but the 2L was about an inch too long even with 4 inch heels and I'm 5'8''. I went with the 0L and it was practically a perfect length for the 4 inch heels. The bust was tight when I first put the dress on, and I had to pull my breasts across when I was zipping it, but that didn't bother me the rest of the evening. If you are taller but wanting to wear sandals, I would order a regular length.

I'm 5'8" and got a 4 in regular and long - I ended up going with the regular, and it was almost too long with 3 inch heels! I loved the dress, got so many compliments, and never felt prettier BUT there was a small ribbing thingy that kept poking my side (it may have just been a problem in my dress). Overall, it was an awesome rental! I definitely recommend it!

OH MY GOODNESS...when they said it doesnt stretch at all...they mean it...i couldnt fit my boobs in for the life of me....i had gotten both sizes 4 and 6 and not to sound braggy or overconfidant or anything i'm pretty thin but OMG that 4 looked like a dang size 2 and the size 6 was still to small for me..it actually didnt want to zip up...until i forced it to...i was determined to wear that dress because it arrived a day before Prom and i had spent all that money. Even thought i was suffering mainly my boobs people complimented me all night. The dress length was short (with heels which were about 3 inches) but without heels it fell beauitfully. To summarize this: YOUR BOOBS WILL BE SMUSHED INSIDE THAT DRESS. IT DOESNT STRETCH! AND GET THE EXTRA LONG LENGTH IF PLANNING TO WEAR HIGH HEELS. This is a must: wear chunky jewlery, the dress looks plain if you just wear the dress, i recomend silver, looks really cute, even wear silver heels

I forget whether I wore the 4 or 6, but I loved this dress! Wore it for a formal/costume Halloween party. The dress was really flattering, especially the top (and for smaller bust sizes) and the bottom was flowy but flattering. Fit in all the right places and had an overall elegant look to it. I got lots of compliments and would recommend this dress to most anyone.

Unless your 6 foot+ don't get the long. I wore 3 inch heals and still worried about it dragging. Other than that it is beautiful and fits quite tight up top so get a bigger size as a back up.

I really liked that it had a long dangling piece of fabric, I felt like I had a tail!

rich blue color, nice option to black - tight in bust, so if you're bigger than a B, maybe not so good. . has a long attached scarf-like piece in same fabric which is perfect to bring around and over (several ways to work it) to cover up a bit. . . the LONG required 3" + heels for me (I'm 5' 10") . . definitely would rent again!

I loved this dress! I ordered the 6R and 4L because those were really the only two available close to my size. The 6R had a wire that was poking out and the top was a little messed up, so I wore the 4L. It fit perfectly except for being long. I had to carry it when I walked! However, I wore flat shoes so that was part of the problem. I had to wear a strapless bra, but the bust was tight enough to keep it up (plus made my chest area look amazing). And I was able to wear regular underwear which is always a bonus! Overall it was a great experience and everyone LOVED my dress. It was comfortable and I was so grateful for the free second dress option. Plus it comes with a little fashion tape just in case. Perfect for Prom or any formal affair!

This dress was perfect for the occasion I needed it for. I was invited to a military ball with my friend, and needed something long and tasteful. I wore to dress tucking one sleeve in so it became single strapped. It was beautiful and comfortable for the evening.

I was really excited to wear this to a friend's wedding, and I got the regular length since a few people said they got the Long and it was too long. I am about 5'6", and when I tried it on, it was way too short! Even if I wore flats, it still was about an inch too short and looked very silly!

I loved the dress, unfortunately I wasnt able to wear it since it did not fit over my 36D bust (with and without the bra). I know other reviewers said that its tight in the chest area but I couldn't imagine it being THAT constricting. Since I ordered the dress for a wedding I figured breathing is more important so I ended up returning the dress and doing last minute shopping however if you have a smaller chest this dress is stunning!

I ordered this dress as a back-up and didn't wear it, but I seriously loved it! It is so elegant and beautiful! I will definitely order this dress for another ocassion so I can wear it! I'm 5'11" and wore 4" heels and the long size of the dress was the perfect length, just skimming above the ground. But if my heels had been any lower, the dress would have been way too long, so that's something to think about when trying to chose a length.

This dress was very slimming but was a little large on top, and being chiffon, impossible to pin the straps. Being a 34B, I had to wear two bras to fill the size 8 out. I wish I had ordered the size 6 as my backup, but the dress was very comfortable and did not overheat me.

This dress fit very well and was beautiful, but I didn't wear it as it was my backup. It was a bit understated for my event, so I went with my first choice.

I ultimately ended up choosing the other (Halston) dress I rented, but it was a close second. The draping is lovely, and the color is a lighter navy than the pictures might indicate. I'm short and the length was perfect with my 5" heels. As other reviewers noted, I also noted the poky boning in the bodice, so you'd want to be a little careful.

I rented this dress for my daughter's winter formal. It was a beautiful dress but it was too short for my daughter. I should have ordered the 8L but it was not available. It was my fault because my daughter is 5'8" and almost 5'11" with heels. Rent the Runway was so great though. They sent me another dress ASAP. We loved the second dress too.

i rented this dress 2 weeks in advance for prom. Unfortunatley at the time there were not too many dresses to rent for the date i needed a dress so this dress was kind of my last resort. The 6 long was so long. I kept having to hold my dress up everywhere, especially when i took off my 5 in. heels and danced. Im very tall for my age so i thought the long would be fine but it was extremely long. The straps were a little loose but my big chest held up my dress the whole time. Overall the dress looked great except for those minor setbacks.

It was a very nice dress; I wasn't aware it had a crepe exterior until it arrived. I was drawn to the dress because of the interesting draping at the top, but I actually felt that the top of the bodice did not flatter me as much as I would of liked. Overall, however, a nice dress.

This dress was so beautiful! The only problem I had with it was that the boning stuck out ad stabbed into my skin, but with a little adjusting it wasn't too bad.

This is a great dress that was super comfortable and easy to wear...I actually only wore it with 1 strap. I probably should went down a dress size because it was a bit big in the bust.

Had this dress sent as a back up plam didn't end up wearing it. Loved the color and the fit, but the (barely) asymmetric design wasn't as visible as I was hoping it would be. Instead, I felt like the straps looked like they didn't fit me properly. TTS, long length perfect for my height with a 3in heel.

I fell in love with this dress when I first saw it online, but when I received it in the mail, I was disappointed to see that it is a much darker blue than what it looks like in this picture. It was a bit long, especially because I was wearing flat sandals. I bet if I wore a little heel, it would have been fine. The dress was very static-y, and I had to rub the inner layer with a dryer sheet in order for it to stay put and not gather together. I agree with some of the other reviewers - the "boning/bust/upper part" of the dress was extremely uncomfortable. There were several very sharp wires sticking out and they did hurt. My dad was able to fix the first one that showed up, but as the night went on, more and more kept popping up. It's a beautiful dress, but I'm not sure I would recommend it to someone.

I'm a size 8 so rented the 8 and 10 as a back up. Glad I did. The 8 was too snug on top; the 10 was perfect. What wasn't perfect is the boning stabbing me on my left side. The dress is beautiful--color, draping--but the boning was super uncomfortable. Maybe it wasn't fixed from the previous renter's experience? So, renter beware.

The actual dress looks more like a Greek-goddess dress, but dont order the long one. I am 5'10 and 3 inches, but still need killer heels to keep it above the ground. The least thing I liked about this dress is that there seems to be two metal lines supporting the upper side of the dress, and it is sticking out which really hurted me.

The quality of this gown was disappointing. The upper portion of the bodice was frayed and it had clearly been worn multiple times. I also found the fit to be larger than some of the other reviews that I had read. I ended up wearing my second choice, and it was a perfect fit.

I rented this as my backup dress for a formal affair, and did not wear it at all. Instead I ended up wearing the Bagdley Mischka Glitz Gown which was amazing. I ordered a 2L and 4L IN THIS DRESS and both ended up being short. Also I'm usually a 0 or 2 and this dress was still really small/tight in the top; I couldn't even get into the 2. The color is not as depicted on the model, it's more of a true blue. To be honest, this dress was just kinda boring and plain...Wasn't really a fan

Dress is very pretty but I am 5'9" and was told to order the dresses in long, but even with 4 inch heels, it was too long. I wore this as a bridesmaid dress in a wedding and kept tripping on the dress the entire time. The overall shape that the dress was in was poor however. There was boning sticking out of every place imaginable. But us bridesmaids did get compliments on the pretty color and style of the dress.

Do not wear if you have a full bust. Very tight fitting with no extra give. Beautiful dress but I would recommend for small chested women.

Ditto what other ladies have said about the stabby boning - what is up with that? I think I got a 10 or 12 and when I tried the dress on, I got stabbed. Other than that it's lovely, well made, looks expensive - I just didn't like the neckline and ended up not wearing it.

This was a backup dress I ordered for a black tie event. Good thing the other style worked! I am usually an 8, but I got this in an 8 and a 10 because someone said that it ran small...I couldn't even zip up the 10. What's more, the boning was sticking out so badly at the top and near my lower back, that I couldn't even walk around my apartment without wincing. I think it's time the dress I received be retired!

pretty dress, HOWEVER, the boning in this dress sticks out and is painful. Tried to wear but had to change at the last minute to a dress I had brought as back-up. (was in DC) the top does not stay up if you have a large bust. Stylist assured me this would work for my figure. No Way!!! Am very unhapppy with experience.

This was a great dress and served the purpose as a prom dress. i got lots of comliments and the dress looked great. it was a bit shorter than i had expected because it touched the floor when i was standing with no shoes on but overall a great dress that i would highly recommend!
