Perfect fit in the bust and forgiving in the waist and hips.

The dress was gorgeous, was basically this exact color, and didn't have a weird belt or anything attached. However, when I opened the package the zipper was broken and half of the bodice was completely unraveled and messed up. That reflects the company's quality checks, though, not the actual dress.

I did not wear this dress as I ordered it as a backup and liked the other one better. This dress was too tight to wear and I could not get the zipper to close for the top. It looked nice otherwise.

I was very happy with this dress. I thought it looked very elegant. Mine did not have an attached belt, it looked just like it did in the photo (color and all.) I got so many compliments and I definitely recommend it!

I absolutely loved this dress. I totally disagree with the previous post...this dress does not look cheap. It was very flattering and flowed beautifully. If you have a little extra cushion in the stomach I would recommend using a waist cincher otherwise the seam at the waist looks strange. I'm wearing this with the Badgley Mischka Grand Entrance earrings and it is just stunning. I can't wait to wear this tomorrow to my event! I definitely recommend this.

This was lovely and made me feel expensive.I was not sent the belt in the previous reviews, but there were no little empty belt loops either. I'm 34D and was feeling very nervous about fitting into a 2, but the ladies fit in just fine! The color is wonderful, very bright red. I ordered a regular and with a very tiny heel it was just the right length - long enough to be picked up in a lady-like way when Moving with Purpose, short enough that I wasn't tripping and no one stepped on it.

This dress was perfect, simple yet glamorous. I wore the 2R and the length was just right with my heels. The strapless bodice was comfortable and I didn't have to adjust much throughout a night of dancing. Would recommend this to anyone!

This dress is very pretty and fit wonderfully, however it is several shades darker than pictured. It is more of a dark burgundy-red. Why RTR is picturing it this color, I do not know, because it is incredibly misleading. I don't even know what tricks they could have used with their camera to get it to look this color on the website. I couldn't end up wearing it to the wedding I was going to because it was the exact same color of the bridesmaid dresses, which I would have known had RTR not pictured it in such a misleading way. If you want to see more of the true color, google "Robert Rodriguez dress ruby" and you'll be able to see it on Neiman's website more accurately. Also, there is a belt as the other reviewer said, but RTR didn't send it to me so I have no idea what it looks like. Instead, I was left with a dress with little belt loops and no idea what to do with the belt loops - I guess if I had ended up wearing it I would have had to go out and buy a ribbon or something. All in all, my issues are more with RTR than with this dress, which is very pretty. I disagree with the other reviewer that it looks cheap. If you are small in the ribcage then I would go with the smaller size if you are wavering.

I ordered this dress for a black tie wedding and was really hoping to love it, but it just didn't look right. The color is beautiful, but the size 4 which fit me best was not in great shape, although the size 6 fit fine too and it looked new. The main problem is what other reviewers mentioned, that it made me look wide at the hips, which I'm not. I ended up wearing the other style I ordered, which was way more flattering.

The dress color and fabric are beautiful. It is a true red as shown in the picture. I agree with other posts that the waist is strange and made me appear wider than I am. I should have listened to the other reviewers. I did not wear the dress.

Im 5'7 115LBS I ordered a size 2L it was the perfect length, and true to size!! However, the dress does look a little cheap. My dress had a couple of snags here and there. All in all its a good dress, if you have a wedding emergency like me!!

Loved this dress! The only problem is that they didn't hem it at all and was way too long to wear (even with 4" heels). But RTR was great and sent me two more dresses that were of a better length. I'd say the color is true to the picture, a very vibrant red.

I rented this dress in hope of wearing it to a black tie, but unfortunately had to go with the other one I rented. The dress is very pretty and does not look cheap. However, the major downfall was that it was SHORT! Very Short. I am 5' 6", a size 6, and never dreamed of ordering a long dress, but I certainly needed one this time. The dress didn't even graze the floor without shoes on. I recommend anyone over 5' 4" who would like to wear heals should go for a long dress.

This dress is beautiful except that the one rent the runway sent me in my size was BROKEN. The stitches that hold the ruching in the front of the bodice in place were visibly broken and the ruching was all uneven and sagging as a result. It was such an obvious error, I couldn't wear the dress so I don't know why RTR would bother sending it out.

This dress looked a little cheap so I went with another one I rented. It has a belt attached which is not shown in picture and that looks very cheap. It has a beautiful flowing look at the bottom but the waist area is a bit unflattering.

Like several other reviews, the beautiful size 6 dress, which fit perfectly, was damaged. The stitches were missing from one side of the bodice rendering it unwearable. The back up dress (same style) in a size 8, although in lovely condition, was too big. I was stuck having to a find another dress at the last minute. Be wary of this one!
