Normally I wear a 4 in dresses, but this one was really tight around my hips even in my backup size 6. I could barely sit down! The bust area was also really large like everyone else said. I needed fashion tape to hold everything in. Once everything fits though it is a really beautiful dress and I got complements on it all night!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this dress is. It looks so much better in real life than on the model. The color is much prettier (a tan may also help). I didn't find that the non-strap side didn't stay up. I do have a bigger bust, so that may have helped. I wore double sided tape after reading reviews, just in case, but it really wasn't necessary. The only negative about this dress is that the fabric is not very giving, so the hem of the dress was kind of tight. It was kind of difficult when sitting (and the dress would get very short). Other than that, I highly recommend this rental!

Love the style of this dress, but definitely suggest going up one size if you are curvy and have hips at all. I am usually a 4 but felt more comfortable in the 6. Double sided tape helps hold the strapless side up too.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous - but has a couple of challenges with fitting. The off the shoulder side of the dress needs to be very securely taped down, even with larger bust sizes. Even then, it's a struggle to keep everything in place. Also, the bottom of the dress is very narrow. I had to go up a size for the bottom which made the bust line more of a problem. However - if it works for you, it's worth it, it's an absolutely stunning dress and I was very happy with it.

The fit of this dress was really weird...If you have wide hips or thighs, do not rent this dress! It was extremely tight in the thigh area and there was no stretch to it, so when I sat down it rode up a lot. It was tight there, but in the butt area it was loose (maybe that's just because of my body shape, I don't know). Also, you will definitely need fashion tape because the right side (left side in the picture) has absolutely no support.

I wore this dress for a career event cocktail party. I rented it because I liked the wintery white color and the assymetrical cut. It was not my favorite dress I got from RTR, only because the material had absolutely no give. I rented a 2 and a 4. I usually would wear a 2, and the 2 fit me perfectly; everywhere except the bottom hem around my thighs. I don't have particularly large thighs but it was so tight I had to wear the 4. Even still I was a little uncomfortable when sitting down throughout the night because of that. I really liked the cut at the top, its very flattering and I did get lots of compliments on the dress.

It runs small in the bottom hem line ( I had trouble in the sitting position and with stairs). It runs large in the bust line so I wore a lace bandeau top bra and used fashion tap. The fit was perfect in the midsection. I dressed it down to wear it to a rehearsal bbq dinner. I would recomend it for a more formal affair like cocktail party where there is alot of standing.

I ordered this dress for my spring formal and it is absolutely gorgeous...I loved wearing it. The fit was a little funny though: I'm relatively hourglass shaped (to a degree) and not only was the dress really hard to get over my butt and thighs, I could only take baby steps in it (it's also hard to sit down since it's so tight around the legs). The waist was fine and the bust area was a bit large (I'm also pretty busty), so tape is definitely a must. Besides from the uneven fit, the dress is still extremely flattering and I got multiple compliments on it. I don't necessarily have large thighs, but this dress definitely works better if you have pretty skinny legs and a small butt. As for the bust area, tape is going to be needed whether you are small or large, but either way it's still flattering. My one issue with the dress is that since it is so tight around the legs, it came with a small tear in one of the seams (which I'm sure happened when the previous wearer sat down in it).

I rented this dress for a sorority formal and I really enjoyed it. It was very tight around my thighs and a little big around my stomach, but it ended up working. The right, strapless side of the dress was not very supportive, I had to used double-sided tape to make sure it didn't fall. The color was very pretty and looked good with a tan! I got several compliments all night, and the dress didn't resemble anyone else's. It is a unique dress, but not too flashy. Loved it!

fit small, especially around bust and hips. Order a size up, especially if you are curvy.

LOVED this dress! I wore it as a bridesmaid in a wedding (bride wanted everyone in champagne or ivory) and had many compliments. You definitely need fashion tape, but once you apply the tape, it looks great. I am an athletic/straight and narrow body type and this dress both gives you a waist if you don't have one and hides and tummy worries. It is on the shorter side, but the picture on the model is pretty accurate in terms of length. Also, the bottom half does not have a lot of give, which is totally fine and doesn't look odd, but just something to be aware of if you are bigger in the thighs/hips. I rented this exact dress again the very next weekend in a different color for another wedding!

Absolutely beautiful dress but as others said it does run small on the bottom. I am very proportional hips/butt to chest and it was tight on the bottom and required fashion tape on top (even with my 36 D chest). Wore it anyway for my bachelorette party and felt like a million bucks, just don’t try to sit in it!

This dress is gorgeous but its proportions are a little off. I wear a 2 and it was really tight in the hips and too loose in the bust area. I couldn't wear it unfortunately but would be a gorgeous dress for someone with narrow hips and a larger bust (with some double-sided tape!).

BEAUTIFUL DRESS! It is a little bit snug in the hips and upper thighs however. Perfect for date night or a cocktail party! The only problem I had was with the bust... It's ALOT looser up there. However, I do have an athletic build so I don't have a massive bust. I'd recommend a FANTASTIC bra and double sided tape :)

This was rented for a friend of mine (5'8, large chest, skinny legs) and it looked amazing! the only issue was the one strap missing, made it hard for her to bend over; used double sided tape. worked well enough. since she got 2 dresses sent to her, one was a slight off colored (darker than off-white...more champagne) & there were some ink marks on it. When i told RTR they refunded us the money, great customer service. thanks so much RTR, best bachelorette party ever :)

The dress is beautiful but unfortunately it was too tight on the hips. The top is very flattering especially if you have a bigger chest.

This is truly a beautiful design concept, though as a few other users mentioned before, it does run small. I found the dress a bit snug along the hips and thighs with an excess of fabric around the stomach area.

Double sided tape is a must with this one! The color is beautiful.

I rented this dress, but unfortunately did not receieve a second size. The dress looks fabulous on, but you certainly need tape to keep it in place. Fit tight in the hip area - I would recommend renting a size up if you are curvy, and not renting this dress if you don't have the assets to fill it out. The color is champagne, not off-white as it looks in the picture.

There is a lot of fabric here, with no stretch. It's pretty stiff, so unless you're squeezing into it, you can expect "air pockets" where it sticks out from your body. I didn't have the problem on top that a lot of people seem to have, but it was definitely not a dress that I would want to dance in since it's pretty restrictive. It's longer than it looks on the model.

I really loved this dress for my semi-formal, but make sure to use the "body tape" they send with it on the off shoulder side. It definitely fits snug in the hips and tight around the the thighs so make sure you aren't planning on doing a lot of walking in it! I got many compliments on the dress and would definitely wear it again!

Should have rented it. If you have hips... forget about it. Wouldnt even go over them :( But its still so pretty to look at.

Ordered this dress in an 8 and a 10 for my bachelorette party. I couldn't zip either size! So sad, because I really loved the material and the style.

I ordered this for the past NYE but I ordered the wrong sizes so did not get to wear it for the event. The dress is beautiful and a little darker in person. I ordered a 6 and a 4 but should have ordered a 2(which now is not available) because it was big in the waist and the bust. The stylists tried their best to find me a replacement but I couldn't find one and only had a day before. This was my 4th rental so even though it didn't work out I still would rent it again. I just had not noticed I lost weight when I ordered the sizes.

Amazing dress! Tighter on the bottom compared to the bust and waist. definitely need fashion tape. it was around mid thigh. The color was different from how it looked online- it was more of a light beige, but in pictures with flash it looks more like the color of the dress online.

I was looking for a dress for a white party. The color was beautiful but the fit was not flattering. Had to wear another option. I will keep trying though.

I had worn this designer before and was able to wear a 4, but this dress was too tight in both the 4 and 6. The 6 zipped, but I could barely walk and there was no way I'd be able to dance or sit down. I was so disappointed because it's a beautiful dress!

This dress is seriously gorgeous, but the fit is quite strange. Too tailored in the hips, poufy in the tummy and extra large in the chest. Ended up not wearing this as I was out of time and would have needed to find some sort of tape to ensure the strapless side of the dress would stay down. If you're large in the chest and tiny from the hip down, you're golden. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend. Still love RTR, just not the dress for me!

I ordered the dress in my usual size and after reading the reviews decided to order one size larger as well just in case. The dress is beautiful but unfortunately, I was not impressed with the fit. The sleeveless bust was too loose and the hip area was a little snug making the whole dress look slightly awkward.

The fit on this dress was awful - it's gorgeous but unwearable! And worst of all, I was stuck with nothing to wear for my bachelorette party. If you are a stick with a very large bust, this is the dress for you. I have a very proportional figure and I've never met a dress that didn't fit me correctly. Horrible.
