The dress maybe runs a little large? I was closer to a size six when I ordered this dress and I ended up wearing the size 4. I loved the dress! Tight in the butt and very drapey up top. Very flattering! Also, I love how its simple and elegant but has that exciting sequin detail. Makes the dress very versatile! Its also perfect for ladies with a larger bust which I don't say for many dresses. The color makes it perfect to wear in the fall, especially with black tights, but the lightweight silk material also makes it ideal for a summer night out (with no tights). Love this dress! Update: I ended up loving this dress so much that I eventually found it on sale and bought it! I highly recommend this dress

Got this as a backup dress and ended up wearing it for a formal. The bottom was definitely more fitted than I though it would be, and the material thin enough that it matters, but with Spanx looked great! Extremely comfortable all night long...(was a little bigger when I rented this- would now rent size 2).

Wear a dark colored bra!!!!

Gorgeous dress and a great color for fall/winter. Not a lot of stretch in the fabric though so if you have fuller hips it might be a bit tight in your normal size. I would recommend going up a size for your back up.

Although I loved the color and am a sucker for anything with sequins, I didn't love this. To me, it fit awkwardly and I think I'm pretty proportioned. The top was too big and was a strange cut that didn't really stay in one place and the bottom was too tight. I would say if you are a size 6 or have skinny legs, this is the dress for you. If you're my size - 10 with curves, skip it!

I got so many compliments from so many different people. I felt so cute and put together, but the dress was very comfortable. I wore it with gold platform pumps and felt like I was on a catwalk the entire night!

This was my first experience with RTR and I was so pleased! Dress came in perfect condition. Loved the drapping on this. Material was thin but I planned on wearing black tights anyways.

Love this dress! I wore it to a fall wedding with tights and got so many compliments! I understand what some of the reviews say about needing tights..the fabric is a little more sheer than it looks online, and I would say this dress worked well for me because I'm smaller on the bottom and bigger on the top...draping was beautiful and nothing too clingy or short on the bottom..perfect!

I loved this dress and would definitely rent it again. The material is silky and is fairly tight on the bottom, so you have to wear seamless underwear, and tights do help as others also said. I wore it with black tights and it was a big hit. The draping is beautiful and the dress is actually pretty comfortable to wear.

I wore this dress to a country club wedding and received many compliments! Loved this dress, but... like others said, it was vary thin material. Also needed to use fashion tape to 'tape' the sides closed as the opening under the arms were large enough to see my undergarments.

I order a 10 (I wear a 10 in regular clothes) and it was beautiful! Tights are a must, like another user mentioned, and I also wore a tight fitting slip (spanx style) to give me a little more comfort. It did nice things for my bootie and I got compliments on it all night!

One of the easiest dresses to wear on the site - stunningly gorgeous! Best for a larger chest so it doesn't hang on top. At 5'8" was sexy mini length

I found most of the reviews helpful in planning what I'd need before the dress arrived though. I wore the dress on a cold night in November, and wore black tights underneath. I didn't have any issues with the dress clinging or riding up on the tights. It fit so elegantly. There was a bit of an opening under the sleeves, but it didn't bother me. I wore a black bra underneath and didn't have any concerns about being "exposed".

The fit is nice because it is blousey up top and snug on the bottom, but it does run small and the fabric is thin so it's not very forgiving.

I loved the color and style of this dress and enjoyed wearing it. However, it is a very thin, clingly material so tights, spanks, or a slip is neccessary. This dress is fine for sitting and standing, but any movement causes the bottom to twist all the way around and ride up which makes it really inconvenient for dancing! Otherwise, very fun and flattering.

I was so excited to get this dress! It looked adorable on and I ended up wearing the larger size so that the top would have more drape to it. HOWEVER...I would not rent it again or recommend it only because it is necessary to wear tights with the dress bc the material is very thin and there is no lining at all. The tights werent a problem for me bc it was winter but the static electricity caused from the tights and the dress combined was terrible. It clung to my crotch and butt all night and I was constantly fiddling with it.

The bottom of the dress is super clingy. I don't have a large rear so for it to be so tight was strange. I did not feel comfortable wearing it because of this.

Not a great dress for my body type. Waaaayyy too big on top. The arms are very draped and like the other review I found the material to be too thin... dress just felt a little too exposed for me. Would probably be a better fit for someone taller and a little fuller on top.
